Went in this evening, needing a passport application form as I need to apply for an urgent passport. I had all that I needed including the passport photos and my old passport with me. To apply in person, a Garda station, post office or passport offices will provide the passport forms, as they cannot be downloaded online. I talked to the officer and in a rude and short way of speaking asked to see my application, I tried to tell him that you can only get the forms in person in the station. However he talked over me saying “no no you must bring one in yourself, download it online”. As he said this he was making his way back into the back office. Now evidently he was wrong. There are some nice gardaí in that station however I have dealt with many of the other rude and disrespectful gardaí before and I’m tired of it. Do better.

Almost always never anyone at the front desk. You wait for 20 mins for someone to pass and alert the staff. Also are slow responders to emergencies.
