This is the worst restaurant experience that I have ever had. My roommate, an old college friend, and I called for a single large pizza via delivery. My roommate and I live roughly 10 minutes from the location. After an hour and a half of not receiving a phone call or any sort of communication, we called Sarpino's to ask them if our pizza had even been sent out for delivery yet. The gentleman that I spoke with indicated that the delivery person had called us and waited outside of our apartment for *an undisclosed amount of time*. We all checked our phones, had full signals, and no missed calls. The manager told us that they would bake us another pizza and send it immediately. Again, more than an hour passed without any communication and we did not see the delivery person outside of the apartment complex. Again, we all checked our phones, had full signals, and no missed calls. For the 3rd time after waiting for another hour, we called the manager. The manager apologized greatly and offered to give us a free cheese pizza on top of our order for consistent mistakes. Yet again and for the third time, no one arrived. No one called us. We were blatantly lied to. This is the worst customer service I have experienced due to the fact that the manager had blatantly lied several times. The pizza was never sent out. Hell, we don't even know if they ever even made the pizza. We called several hours before they were set to close (I believe ~3:00-4:00 AM on Saturdays is when they close... We called 4-5 hours before they were set to close). I can't comment on the taste nor quality of the pizza because none of us were able to receive our pizza. This place is a joke. I would never recommend Sarpino's to anyone local or visiting KCMO. Sarpino's delivery is hands down the worst. This place is garbage. Do not bother spending your time and money here. It's a shock that this place is still open.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE: I have a credit with Sarpino's because I used to order from their Overland Park location all the time. I tried to order twice through the Westport. Yesterday I ordered online, got the email that said it was being delivered and FORTY FIVE minutes later i finally got my cold pizza. No utensils, and no red pepper flakes that I SPECIFICALLY asked for in the details. No phone call to indicate he was there either. When I asked the jittery (too much mountain dew? Drugs?) delivery guy where my utensils and red pepper flakes were he went on a slurred spout about it was the guy who gives him the instructions fault, and then went on to say it was his fault because he didnt look at the instructions til he got here. When I asked about the utensils again (Infuriated with his rudeness and 0 cares my order is messed up) he said we dont give people utensils when we deliver.... so those people eat with their hands? he then ripped the receipt out of my hand and left without a mere apology or let me call my manager and see what we can do, nothing. I called the manager after he left, and complained about the experience, he gave me another credit to my account and my money back. I was pleased with his clear frustration of the problem. He corrected it, and then today I tried to get another calzone. The exact same way. The lady on the phone not only hung up on me before i was done ordering but was also rude on the phone. Is anyone taught how to be polite anymore? Customer services jobs require you to be polite. I wasnt screaming, i wasnt hollering, i was merely talking to her and didnt have an attitude myself. MIND YOU THE ORIGINAL CREDIT WAS BECAUSE THEY MESSED UP MY ORDER SEVERAL MONTHS AGO AND I WAS WILLING TO GIVE THEM ANOTHER TRY. Obviously they dont care about their customers.

She also handled money and not once did I witness anyone wash their hands as we waited. We decided we did not want to eat anything at that point and asked for a refund. When we told her why we wanted the refund she told us per health dept the do not have to wear gloves because everything runs through the oven. I still made her aware I find that hard to believe but I still want my refund as we will not eat any of the food prepared. She expressed her unhappiness while trying to get our refund once she gave us back our money I said thank you and she had nothing but a rude look of disgust on her face. We left at that time. I will also be in contact with the health department today about this. Not good for business especially with the type of world we are living in now a days.

I don't typically write bad reviews as I understand that every company has rough days. However, Sarpino's has failed over and over again on their customer service. I'll first start by saying I LOVE their pizza!! In the 4 years I've been ordering I think I've only had one order that didn't taste the best. The calzones are my favorite because they don't skimp on sauce or toppings! I ordered a pizza today at 11:30 AM because I had a meeting at 1 and I wanted to have plenty of time to eat. At 12:30, the order tracker showed as "out for delivery". At 12:51, I got a call from the driver saying he was in the lobby(I'm on the 14th floor and they have always delivered right to my office) I told the driver I was on the 14th floor and he said he would be right up. At 12:53, he calls again saying the same thing, that he was in the lobby. Finally, at 12:56, my pizza got delivered. The drivers have a cell phone that you can input a tip and have to sign. When he handed me the phone, he had already put a $5 tip on thinking I would just sign and go on. When I asked about it, he laughed like he knew he had been caught then changed it. I've ordered from there for years and not had any problems until the last 3 months. I'm not sure what changed but it's not working.

They were EXTREMELY warm and inviting. Saw us taking photos and were REALLY cool about us telling them we were going to review the store. Not saying this is why. But I'm saying that if it was SO WHAT, I will be back and i recommend you try them out if you're around and want a good Italian pizza experience. This looks SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! Yeah, it was GREAT!!! We were outside in the car waiting and they came and brought it to us and presented an amazing pie with ALL the EXTRAS!!!! GREAT JOB, guys Thank You!!! I'll be back!!!

It's in a business court, But. It's not very busy. So the parking is is decent.

a GrubHub experience 12:00 - placed order, quoted a 1:00-1:10 delivery 1:10 - delivery not made, no call from restaurant 1:30 - delivery still not made, still no call from restaurant 1:40 - called into the restaurant, food had not been made yet. What kind of restaurant is this? How is the restaurant still in business. If I could I would give the institution 0 stars if it was possible. No communication with the customer. And when I called in to inquire about my order - the employee nonchalantly tells me that the order had been seen, but was never entered into the system. No apology, and treated as if it was an everyday occurrence that required no explanation. She then tells me that she can go ahead and put in the order and have to me as soon as possible. Nothing was offered as compensation, not even an apology. The only saving grace with my food experience will be that hopefully - this food is eatable; which other reviewers have already commented - is questionable at best. I based my selection of restaurants based on reviews, and it's obvious that a the inflated stars are through exploitive fabricated reviews. tl:dr Do not order from Sarpino's

This is my first time eating Sarpinos. And the menu had a large variety to choose from. I did a carryout, I actually decided on Sarpinos while passing by so I pulled in and went inside. The guy inside was rude and did not greet me he just walked up to the counter and stood there. I asked if there were any deals and he said NO I asked him if there was any specials or anything like that he said NO so I looked over the menu. There was a QR code which I scanned and it said that the QR code was no longer active or valid. I ordered a pizza and while online I saw a sign up and get 10% off so I asked him to use that and he called someone else over to help. The 2nd guy was very nice friendly and knew what he was doing . Unfortunately there weren't any deals. I got my pizza and it had so much sauce on it that the entire top slid off into the box. This was a cooled pizza,. I had to put the pizza on a plate with a spatula and eat with a fork!!! There was no pickin it up and eating it. Although it was very good, it wasn't easy to eat and was very messy. I probably won't go back.

The pizza is fine. In the past I have had great service from them. But the past couple times we have tried to order, the order was estimated to take about an hour but instead took close to 3 hours. They need a better system for letting people know when they are backed up on orders. If I know there's going to be a three hour wait, I won't bother ordering. Instead of waiting another hour past when the order is supposed to be delivered and then having to decide whether to cancel or just wait until some mystery time in the future, hoping I don't fall asleep before my pizza shows up. I understand staffing challenges are a thing right now, but they need to be up front so they can manage their orders efficiently. If they don't have enough staff to fulfill all orders, they need to have.a way to cut off orders or let people know about how incredibly extended the wait time is. Update: I emailed Sarpino's as recommended by the response below and received no response whatsoever.

Ordered online. Website slightly misleading. Can place order before they open. Delivery at 1130. Their system allowed me to place order and charge credit card. Turns out at around 1230i call to find out the status. They never received order. Okay, I take responsibility. It was my bad. I have the guy my order in the phone and he charged my card. After another 2 hours. No delivery. I call. The lady is looking for a ticket. The order. Anything to verify that the order was placed. The guy who originally took my order got on the phone. He apologized. Another 45- to an hour. I was furious. How do you lose the order? Baffled. I declined and hung up. They called back but didn't answer. No VM. No call of apology from manager. No explanation of how they lost my order. Not worth the wait. And they lost my order. How does that happen? After quite a few chances this really shows their incompetence.

This is the second time I have ordered from the evening/night crew at Sarpinos/Westport. Service is ABSOLUTE trash!!!! The manager on 3-11 has the worse attitude, customer service is trash, and this first time they gave me burnt up wings I have not even received a response. For the manager to say we can't control what comes in from the internet, maybe you all need to stop taking internet orders. I despise pizza hut, but at least they will correct their mistake internet or not. "like I said" is not a managers response to the customer, and "I told you once"....very unprofessional. I'm not your child I'm a customer period. I'm irate, and highly upset, further more, they forgot my dressing for a salad and said 2-3 hours....yea ok....I get off at 11. I will never deal with the idiots at Sarpinos in Westports night shift. Period. My people's customer service is detestable.

Drove into Kansas City right around dinner time extremely hungry on Christmas night only to find everything was closed. All except Sarpino's pizza which says it is open 365 days a week so that was a pleasant surprise. Took more than an hour for the food to be ready but that was to expected as everyone else was closed and they were backed up. Pizza was great though on the expensive side compared to a Domino's. I commend Sarpino's and their staff taking the pandemic extremely seriously which is a positive thing. Even though I didn't mention curbside delivery, they did not let anyone into the store and came out to deliver my pizza after taking my credit card. And they locked their store in between helping customers which tells me that they are taking the health of their customers and themselves seriously. Thank you for that. I wish more restaurant follow your example.

Their website offers the promise that this business is efficient and interested in creating positive expectations for its customers. We have ordered from them before and were pleased. This time they took more than 2 hours to get to our place which is only about 10 minutes away. The website said that our pizza would be delivered in 45 - 55 minutes. When we called after 1 1/2 hours they made excuses and said the driver was on the way. When we called 20 minutes later they made more excuses, claiming that since the website is operated by another party it is not their fault. When we informed them that we would never do business with them again they didn't seem the least bit concerned. This business does not deserve to be in business with so many other restaurants trying much harder to please their customers.

I was in town for an event, stuck in my hotel without a car. It was 3AM and I was STARVING. Much to my relief, Sarpino's was still open and delivering until 4AM, so I placed an order. A special made the price pretty damn reasonable as well, and ordering online was easy. The pizza was delivered to my hotel lobby about 45 minutes later than the "promised time," but this is unsurprising given that there are a bunch of preteens staying in the hotel this weekend -- I'm sure they were slammed with orders. I ordered a 16" meatball, well-done bake, and it is so delicious I could cry with joy. This is seriously some of the best pizza I've had, ever. Even if it had been meh, I would have been grateful for Sarpino's, but the fact that it's GOOD just puts me over the moon.

1st the pizza did not look like the picture at all and the crust was all soggy. And I can deal with all that. What I could not deal with was the Manager coming outside talking to me like I was one of her employee. She was so unprofessional. I just asked for a refund not for her to come outside using bad language at me and yelling to the point that the other manager had to tell her to go inside. I will never ever return to this. Getto pizza place it was my first and last time I promise and I wouldn’t eat here if I was any of you reading this. She must have been the owner And her name was Mad Madison and when we drove off they where all laughing and waving bye. I honestly can’t believe the way we where treated. But I can see why this place only have 3 stars.

Customer service is the WORST! I ordered pizza for my employees. The delivery guy never gave me a receipt so when I called the store I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. So I had to call again, and talk to a manager because if you don't have an order they just put you on hold. The manager asked me for my email, and I gave it to her, I had to call again because I never received the email with the receipt. Wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I think all customers should receive the same treat and service, wether you're ordering or you just have other concerns. This is not the first time it happens. I wouldn't recommend this location at all. I have always used Sarpinos for all events at work, but I guess not anymore.

I was served by a young woman who was very kind, friendly, and happy this afternoon. She greeted me with a smile and helped me with my order. She let me know how long it was going to take before she started to prepare my 8" veggie pizza. Even though she was the only person there, she was still in good spirits (I remember having to do those times when I was alone and had to take orders, cook, clean, and run the cash register by my self. This always happened on those so-called slow days, which turned out to be the most busy day. I wasn't a very happy camper). Well, I thank the young person for being in good spirits and not being annoyed because she alone. She even mentioned that she actually loved being there.

How can you beat this place? Anyone that is impatient will complain about the wait times or find something to complain about. The drivers are always friendly and the staff answering the phone is always friendly as well. I have been ordering from Sarpinos since I moved back to Kc and love it!! If they mess an order up they are quick to fix or make it right! People just like to complain which just makes you look like a deuche so don't complain! If you do not have patience its simple, don't order delivery or go on somewhere else! How many other places are open as late as Sarpinos? None as far as Im concerned! So give yourself a treat and order from the king of delivery and service that is Sarpinos! :)

We order from sarpino's a lot but the service we received tonight from the store was despicable. They lied to us on the phone three or four times over the course of three hours that our delivery was on its way, and in fact it never left the store. It's just disrespectful and I don't really understand what's going on there. It's a shame because we do love this pizza, but the situation that occurred makes no sense to me. We ordered at 7:30 p.m. and at 10:35 p.m. we finally called for the fourth time that night to cancel the order and to get a refund. The manager was reluctant to give us a refund... If you're busy or understaffed completely understand, but just let us know that please.

After a break from this joint gave a shot again. I have Been happy with the food and service for what it’s worth. Drivers have been good and timely. Personally, I am happy that I checked this and got to put a more positive review. Dated 6/23/18 *********************************+************ Been a loyal customer for years with this place. As always, joints like this are dependent and judged by the people that work here. The staff currently, drivers and order takers truly are ones that I question their work ethic. It is a shame. Horrible, horrible, no good, very bad service. I've given them 3 chances before finally deciding to write a review. The food itself is below subpar, but that's got nothing to do with the rating. On one occasion, food was never delivered, despite the website saying otherwise. On the others, the food was delivered well over an hour past the estimated time. It goes without saying that the food was at a wonderful less-than-room temperature by the time it arrived. Management (I think his name is Andrew, based on the automated answering system; be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes to speak with a human) has a proven track record of truly remarkable ineptitude.

I have ordered Sarpino's 3 times since moving to KC and every time it has taken an unfathomable amount of time to receive my order. I placed my 3rd order today and ordered a spaghetti with meat sauce because I figured I might actually get my lunch sometime during the lunch hour if I ordered something easy. I Placed my order at 12:20....their online estimator said I should get it by 1:10. At 1:30 someone from Sarpino's called me and said they are getting really backed up and it is going to take them another half hour before they can make it. I dont care how good the food is, there are way to many pizza choices in the area. Next time I'll call Minsky's

Ordered online at 10:40, said it would be delivered at 12:55. It sounded good so I waited. At 1:00 I checked my phone and there was no update. I’m at a school event so I had to go do something and I checked my phone again at 1:40, and it said my order was cancelled. I called them to see what happened and they said that there was no delivery driver since he didn’t show up. I get that, but the fact that never called me in the almost three hours that I waited and didn’t called me during the forty minutes that my order was late is odd and kinda rude. I had to be the one to call to see what happened. Stinky. Update your website, I wanted my pizza man.

This will be my second 1-star review of this place. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is delicious and that's why i keep going back and keep getting let down. I placed an order online at 11:15am for delivery. At 12:15 I get a call from the store saying my order will be delayed another 45 minutes due to lack of delivery drivers. Why could you not call me sooner? You knew earlier than 12:15 that my order would be delayed. I asked for a discount to compensate for the delay and frustration. I was told I could get $5 off my NEXT order. Next order? No thanks. I'm done with this Sarpinos and probably every Sarpinos. It's a shame. The food is really good.

Once the pizza is 2 hours late, its no longer just late. It’s a fundamental business failure. DO NOT OFFER delivery if you can’t deliver. I was told after the first hour that our order was “next to be delivered”. Was it cooked and standing by? I don’t know, but it definitely still tracked as “in the oven” for the next hour. I gave up. I like the pizza ok and they’re open all the time so that’s nice? But you know what they say, “ruin family night once, shame on you…” If it’s a staffing issue, pay more. If it’s a work environment issue, replace the manager. Nobody else close by playing at pizza is doing it this badly.

Pizza was completely wrong. I even wrote in the notes of the order exactly how I wanted it. We did not get half of the ingredients we wanted on the pizza, there were no fresh tomatoes on the side. There was added ingredients we didnt order on the pizza. There was one fresh tomato under the cheese, and we ordered them on the side. Its like it was done on purpose. We ordered on grub hub. In the past when I've had their pizza it's been really good! It was just pepperoni before, its kinda hard to mess that up I guess. Not to be rude but the pizza could have been free, and I still wouldnt have wanted to eat it.

Trying to order anything after 730 is impossible. I literally ordered a delivery at 8:39 PM. It is now 10:21 PM on Saturday July 8 and I have not received my order. I called the place in canceled my order due to the fact of it was quite 45 to 55 minutes. I waited that I did not say anything then I called and I was told the driver is on their way. I waited 30 minutes. Additionally, for that and still nothing was said, but as soon as I called and said cancel my order magically The driver is leaving with my order. Not sure who you need to hire for the night crew but whoever you have is not working.

Ordered the pizza&salad special... I was sent an undone pizza (doughy) with a dead lettuce salad (I was sent steams &brown lettuce).... the only thing that was up to par was the soda (they got the soda right, yay).... then I asked for a refund and was told by Jeremy D. that since I paid in cash the only thing he could do was either send out another order (which I passed on, because I don't know what they would have done or put in it) or a credit (no, I want MY CASH BACK)... I will be getting into contact with corporate.... You all basically STOLE MY MONEY.... I don't pay for GARBAGE...

Pizza - excellent. BUT, they won't deliver to my address even though I only live 3.5 - 4 miles away. Had to use Grub Hub, which was a major disappointment. There's a Dominos 1/2 a mile from me, but they're worse than Grub Hub. Guess I'll just have to go OUT for my 'za. And it'll be somewhere besides Sarpinos since I'm not worthy of their direct delivery service. ***UPDATE*** I responded to the below comment from the owner, but to no avail. Per Google maps, I live only 3.7 miles from their store. Sadly, just like everywhere else, customer service is no longer a priority.

Love Sarpinos!! They've been my life savers while I've been in after giving birth to my new kiddo. They deliver quickly with an email to let me know they've received the order and one to let me know its out for delivery, They also include a estimated time which helps me out. The food comes hot, delicious and ready to go in my tummy. :) Since Pizza Hut has often flaked on me and two Chinese restaurants decided to "not deliver" any more, Sarpinos gets all my business and I'm definitely pleased with the replacement. Wouldn't go back to Pizza Hut for anything now.

I been getting Sarpino’s for a while especially since it is open so late. EVERY time I get delivered, it never shows up on time. I placed my order at 11:47pm and I got an estimated time to be delivered at 12:35-12:45am. At one am I had to call because I didn’t receive my order, here it is 2:11 am and I still waiting for my order. I give Sarpino’s the benefit of the doubt because I know they don’t have many delivery drivers but this is ridiculous. Apparently my driver was here and decided not to give my food, so thanks Sara I appreciate you.

Wanted to try something new other than pizzahut. I was disappointed in the price to portion ratio. Thats also on me for not really know what 10 inches is. The flavor of the pizzas aren't the best as I was expecting something different than your run of the mill pizza place. They forgot my salad and offered $10 or the delivery of my already purchased salad. The delivery guy originally gave my someone elses order and had to call me back to bring it back to him. Mistakes happen but I am just disappointed. Imma stick with my stuffed crust.

I've eaten at the Johnson county location many times and its always excellent, food and customer service alike however tonight was my first experience with the Missouri location and I am very displeased. Not only was there hair in my pizza but when I called back to tell the employee what happened they didn't even apologize to me for the inconvenience. Bad customer service at this location and the employee had zero personality like this was their first job and really didn't want to be there. I won't go back and you shouldn't either

Ordered the cheeseBurger pizza., Bread sticks, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate mousse cakes. Pizza was great! Unfortunately, the Bread sticks (honestly just a pizza dough) were overcooked and hard, rather plain, had hardly any flavor. The portion of cheesecake received was disappointing for the price, also barely provided enough strawberry syrup for it, and the chocolate mousse cake were also small portions as wel,l however it was rather delicious. If there's a next time, Ill definitely just order a pizza, but nothing more.

This will probably be a bad review and not entirely the fault of Sarpino's While in KC and at the hospital for my daughter's heart surgery Dec 18th I used Uber Eats to order some pizza from Sarpino's. We ordered (3) 8 inch Pizzas and (2) 20oz coke's. The 8 inch pizza was like $7.99 each. My bill was $50 The pizza was not that good. I should have ordered Dominos, I love Dominos and it would have been half that price Anyway, average pizza with HUGE Uber delivery fees has me feeling dumb for clicking the "ORDER" button Never again

Ridiculous. Owner presented himself as "Andy" instead of Andrew. When I expressed my disappointment that my pizza arrived at 46 minutes and had left the location, six blocks way, 19 minutes ago, he explained that it was within the 35-35 minutes. He never disclosed he was the owner. But stated that he would make the order again with a 35-45 min delivery time. Really? I know of no other restaurant owner that would treat a customer this way. I will not order again and will spread the word through Brookside and beyond.

Ordered online and our meal was marked as "Ready for pickup" 10 minutes after arriving. 15 minutes later, after seeing a few other customers getting their meals, we were told our pizza had been given to someone else and would have to be remade. About 20 minutes later, the pizza was finally brought out. Got home and it didn't even have the dipping sauce we ordered. Failed to get an online order right, gave it to the wrong person, and did nothing to make it right other than waste my time. Would not recommend.

Worst experience, placed order online and the wait time said 45 mins. A hour passed so I called to check on it. The girl answering Christine said sorry miscommunication in a way that insinuated it was my fault and it would be another 30 mins.....50 mins later the delivery guy shows up with cold pizza and no salad or bread sticks. I had to call and ask for a refund for the missing food but they couldn't give a confirmation number. It's doubtful at this point they can even do that right.

What every gourmet pizza shop strives to be when they grow up. Extended weekend hours for those pizza/ hunger cravings after the nightclubs run you out at 2:45 am (or you wake up craving pizza! One of a handful of restaurants open after 2 am, they are open Fridays & Saturdays until 4am). Best bet for late night/early mornings - order on their app, or through the Doordash platform (remember consequences of drinking and driving- let a friendly Dasher deliver it to your door!).

This Sarpino’s was very good. I ordered and they have two large pizzas ready in about 10 minutes. And I feel the ingredients that they use are high quality. It is not a gourmet pizza, but definitely really good. I’m not in the Westport area often, but if I’m going to order pizza to go from that area, I’d order from them. The customer service was nice as well. There is no place to eat there, so don’t go there and expect to sit down and eat, because there are only 4 seats.

Currently staying in a hotel downtown was recommended this place by the front desk agent because it was 2am and most places were closed or no longer delivered. The wait said 120-140 min but was closer to 65-70. Which I was very glad for because I was starving. I would suggest getting the oil dipping sauce as it was honestly surprisingly good with the thin pizza. (I don’t normally like olive-oily things). I love the options for all the toppings to! 10/10 will eat again.

This lasagna is $10. Let that sink in. $10. Soggy noodles floating around in a little bit of meat in cheese, in a 1/3rd filled aluminum tin. An absolute disappointment. Their pizza is overpriced and no better than pizza hut. Our sauce cups were half filled. Calzone was greasy and barely had any filling, definitely not was is described on their menu. But hey, they have these expensive decorated takeout boxes - maybe they should spend the money from those on decent food.

I called about my order, due to it being late. Found out from Josh that they were short staffed and that the cook was the delivery driver! I told him no worries, I will continue to wait. About 10 minutes later the cook, Jon I believe his name was, brought in my pizza and it was still piping hot! The pizza was so good as usual! Guys, I'm so sorry you all are going through this short staffing situation, you handled everything very well! Thank you! Keep up the good work!

This was very good pizza. Although shocked it was like a personal pan, guess I never measure my pizza. But I cannot complain because I'm a fan of square crust and cheese bread. Yesssss, actual cheese bread. I was pleasantly surprised since this was my first delivery while in Kansas City. I say when in doubt, just order this pizza because it was quite fulfilling and mad good!!!!! Thankful to have found this establishment since more locations are in other cities too.

Tried this place for the first time since it was nearby and I had heard ads on the radio that made it sound like an authentic place. The website and prices confirmed this notion. The pizza LOOKED like handmade authentic hearty pizza online. Upon arriving at the store I immediately felt like I was at a Little Caesars, and the quality of the pizza wasn't much better. Not terrible for being pizza, but definitely not "good pizza," especially for the price!

My boyfriend place an order through DoorDash on 12/17/21 and had two dashes walk out of this location with our food claiming to be delivering the food to us and cancelled the order before delivering the food to us after leaving Sarpino’s with our food. I feel good customer service would have been for Sarpino’s to personally deliver our food for the inconvenience and the 2 hours of waiting for food that never came. This was highly upsetting good night

Called an ordered pizzas to be delivered to Research hospital at 6:30 pm and was told it would be an hour or an hour and a half. At 8:02 we called and they said the driver was on his way. At 8:35 we called and told them visiting hours were over and the hospital was closed so I wasn’t really sure what we should do. The only option he gave was to cancel the order. Thanks a lot now we have to figure out where to eat when we leave the hospital tonight.

Editing my post because every effort was taken to make things right! Much appreciated! Last week placed an online order and was contacted and advised no delivery drivers available, so made other arrangements. Today, placed my online order at 9:43 am for 11:15 am delivery. Did not get my lunch until 21:40am and was told, sorry short delivery drivers, no offer of a discount or comp and had 15 minutes to eat my lunch! Will never order from them again!

Wow! These guys are my favorite pizza spot throughout the KC area. I usually get pizza from the quivera location in Overland Park, but these guys do just as much of an amazing job. I was visiting my Vegan friend up in Westport and let me tell you, they use top tier ingredients in everything they make. The vegan pizza looked absolutely awesome. Everything was cooked just right. Glad to know I get the same quality service no matter where I go.

Every time I eat here I get chicken and pineapple Alfredo then crust pizza today there was some type of error Online and they put the red sauce my peace I told them I do not eat red sauce asked him if they could remake the pizza they tell me I will have to pay another $20.94 they will not refund me my money or even take the old one back so I have a pizza I can’t eat and out $20.94 won’t have my business anymore!

Unfortunately Sarpinos had a mediocre chain pizza with a fairly high price point. I paid $30 for a 14" supreme pizza, which was moist and not crisped on the bottom. The salad we ordered had several large chunks of wilted and blackened lettuce (yuck!). I did like that they had vegetarian options like Beyond Sausage and the staff were all wearing face masks appropriately. However, I wish the actually pizza was worth the trouble.

Half great half meh. The lady answered the phone was very nice. But after waiting an hour (which was the quoted time), I was disappointed when the delivery driver called to have us meet him downstairs in the lobby instead of going to our door(which I saw a worker from sarpinos do yesterday)....and then to see they forgot the side sauces with our order. The bread was Luke warm...the pizza was a little warmer and did taste good.

I loved this location, until I tried to order after being on hold for 8 minutes. Only to be told that they are only taking carry out orders without an explanation or apology. I had just gotten home from work late and wanted to get something to eat. I manage a pizza restaurant and this is very unacceptable service. I was generous and rated this as a three because my past experiences were great but tonight was horrible.

This is an amazing place to eat. I was really hungry at 2 in the morning and this was one of the only places that was open. The pizza is absolutely amazingly delicious a d I would highly recommend coming here. Me and my future wife have both had Chicago pizza and we both agree that this way out does Chicago pizza. Their BBQ wings are absolutely amazing as well, they're grilled and have an amazing homemade BBQ sauce.

Nothing special about this place. The pizza was mediocre and for the price I paid, I expected a lot better. It was soggy, and the toppings were sparse. I mean, if I am paying that much more for a "specialty" pizza, I should be getting a ton of meat and veggies. Really only like a few per slice. They are open late, and deliver late so that is a plus, but overall I feel like there are better options in the area.

I really wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I placed an order at 8:30 pm. At 11pm I called to ask where my order was and got nothing but attitude. At 1:30am I still had not had my dinner and called again. I was not yelling or cursing, but was understandably frustrated since this was supposed to be my dinner, and was hung up on because "my attitude was unacceptable" DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

The lack of a star was from our having to make up for the last 3 months or so getting food from here. Today the delivery girl showed up quick! She was here in 29 min and we are about 10-12 min from the store. But I will say I ordered at 2:30pm....probably not lunch rush hour. Horrible service at WESTPORT!!! I ordered a pizza and 10min before I was supposed to receive it I get a call that it will be an additional hour so in total 2 hours. So I said ok that is fine I wait another and call to see where my pizza is and they place me on hold for 30 minutes so I have no pizza and they took my money..... Worst store ever!!!!!! I ordered wings and a cheese calzoon, wings were great , I could of handled a bit hotter. I ordered a cheese calzoon and it was delieved with some sort of sausage in it. Wow. I have been all over the U.S. And this place without a shadow of a doubt is the slowest place I have ever orderd from!!! 1hr 45 min for a salad, a sandwich, and two pastas that I know take less than 5 min to cook??? What a dump. Do yourself a favor and pass on this place if you are hungry! The fact I had to give them even one star irritates me but you have to in order to post.

My favorite pizzeria the food is always authentic you can just taste the love in every bite a bit expensive but it's definitely worth it I tried a few things on the menu and haven't been disappointed. It's no walk in but as soon as you pull up someone comes out to greet you ask what's the name on the order and send you on your way. It's never a long wait definitely worth a try!!!!

ordered two pizzas via door dash and when i bit into the first pizza it was cooked with a long black hair and that ended up in my mouth! i was so disgusted and mortified. I threw up for an hour. Obviously these people do not use hair nets or practice health department standards. I will never eat there again and I made a formal complaint with door dash and health department.

I was SO excited when I discovered that Sarpino’s had a vegan menu! This is my second time ordering from them and I highly recommend the vegan garlic breadsticks!! I have yet to try the pizza, but the baked vegan spaghetti was also delicious!! Today the delivery driver, Jamie I believe, was so nice and just made the experience even better!! When I placed order it said 45 to 55 minutes delivery. It took almost twice that. I ordered the wings and some meatballs. In my 38 years of existence I've never tasted such disgusting wings. My taste buds wanted to kick my ass for doing that to them. They didn't give me any utensils for the meat balls. Maybe their pizza is better ...but I won't be finding out.

If you have a set lunch schedule, do NOT order from the Westport location. The food is always good, but they do NOT stick to the time slot requested. I requested a 12:15 delivery for my 12:30 lunch time, finally showed up 12:45 and for the first time ever, its barely hot. Like I said, food is always good but don't count on their "scheduled delivery times".

Good pizza! My friend and I used to have it delivered to work, per his request, and I loved it. Comparatively, Sarpino's is both appetizing & affordable, always fresh, with a plethora of toppings, and choice of several crusts. The store in Westport seems clean and well-maintained. I would place Sarpino's in my top three favorite pizza places in KC!

Food is good if a little pricey. But, check your order before you leave the store, this time the dipping sauce was wrong - it's not the same without pesto! Last time they didn't get the extra ingredients right. I know it's a Hut thing, but showing me what's in the box would have prevented this. Silly me for assuming they double checked it!

Watch out! Do not order delivery through Postmates! They make your ordered items smaller, deliver them nearly 90 minutes after you order them (not picked up slowly, cold, sat in the back seat for 90 minutes hard cold pizza). Ordered extra large things for four men at work, got a personal breadstick after 90 minutes, cold. Buyer beware!

They make some of the best pizza in the area. Not cheap though. Only place in town that I know of that makes a good anchovy and black olive pizza. I have had a few incorrect orders in the past but they corrected them and let me keep the other pizza. I would eat here all the time but I don't want to die of diabetes when I am older.

The food is great, and once I find something I like it’s difficult to go anywhere else. Wide selection of pizzas and hot sandwiches, but have a slice, or ten, of cheesecake regardless of what else you get. I’m originally from New York, and I live 3 blocks from the Cheesecake Factory, but I get all of my cheesecake from here.

We love Sarpinos. The Westport location is the third Sarpinos we have ordered from. Food is always fresh and delicious. My only complaint is with online ordering and the app. We always order a half and half and have yet to get it to work. Even their associates complain that it doesn't seem to work consistently.

Ordered a sandwich and calzone for delivery while at St. Luke’s. OMG, why have I never ordered from here before. Our Italian sandwich and calzone were amazing. Consistently tasty pizza. Blazing fast service. Their options for custom pizzas are staggering. The breadsticks are amazing too. Their delivery zone is pretty good, but you have to call in and verify a delivery order if you live in a "unapproved" area. Oh well.

Perfect place to grab a late-night Sober-me-up pizza after a night of drinking. The pepperoni was abundant on the pizza and the additional side of marinara that came in the box was a bonus! Just call ahead or get it delivered so you don’t have to wait.
