Over the past couple of months my partner has had to buy a system for her disabled father, while I've been at work, and essentially this was time critical, I gave the guys a rough idea of what I wanted so I could have it built in the time frame needed. The dealings between the guys and my computer illiterate partner were just superb, friendly helpful with my father in law's weird/odd requests (never thought I'd ever buy a VoIP phone in this day and age....) that his daughter would have to find and understand, like they knew she didn't know much about computers and guided her in a helpful constructive manner. Just honest good advice. In MY personal dealings with the team I can't fault them, they have the information I need or want and point out other options which TBH I wish I had that advice before I DIY'ed my network. They had given me more technical advice. It's like they can on the fly work out whom and how much knowledge they are dealing/talking to and adapt. That's GOOD HONEST salesman ship. I try and avoid the online feature as I'd like to go into a brick and mortar store and support local. I can't speak highly enough of the guys, and this is my way of paying it forward. Tingalpa team, I hope this reaches your main office, keep up the good work, and I look forward to our next dealings.

I can't possibly recommend Scorptec (Tingalpa and online) enough. Scorptec is consistently fantastically priced (usually just a few dollars more than the absolute cheapest, but well worth it). For things like getting network cables or other bits and bobs, they often even undercut Amazon (including shipping from both), which is incredible! Their pre sale, post sale and general support is second to none. I have never waited more than a minute or two to speak to them, I've never had a support phone call run more than 10 minutes long. Their staff are knowledgeable, but also frank and honest. They pride themselves on quality service over an upsell. Their products are shipped so fast I swear it breaks the laws of physics. I now change my purchasing decisions, based on what Scorptec stocks. I waited long after first using them and being impressed to write this review, thinking surely they aren't always like this, but now after being a customer for years and having spent thousands of dollars across many orders in both a professional capacity and personally, I can confidently say - Scorptec is the best I have ever dealt with for purchasing anything tech, both in person at the Tingalpa store and online.

Purchased a cheap and cheerfull monitor today from this store for my son, Took this item home and was greeted with a non functioning monitor looked to be cracked on the left hand side but the package was in order. I packed it up and took back the item, It was less than an hour old, service rep tried to scratch something off the bottom middle right of the screen, was a mark on the screen and was told the deflective product was my fault, and that they never had defective products from the manufacture. Also did not bother to power the monitor on to check. I was adamant that this was not the case as I was sure to leave it on the packaging until stand and cables were installed before placing on the desk. Escalated to management who agreed that I was at fault. no refund or replacement was offered. Ultimately I left the product there for them to recycle, lodged a complaint with the ACCC and purchased a different monitor from UMART

Bad customer service. After looking at purchasing a $3000+ item calling prior to leaving to collect and checking online it was available. I drove 1hr+ to collect when I arrived the item was no longer in stock after I said I called earlier and checked online the response I got was “it must have sold, not much I can do we have been busy, I should have put a hold on it”. I feel like you would know if you sold a $3000+ items within the last 1hr. The item has been available for 4 days prior at this store and within the hr I took to drive there its sold and only became out of stock online after I arrived. I was presented with a stale team member who didn’t really care and only offered that they could get one transferred to store in 3 days, I said I couldn’t return in 3 days for another 1hr drive. No care factor no nothing from team member. Sorry guys but you lost yourself a sale after that!

Got a ASUS hero motherboard with was faulty usb keeps dropping out and board keeps crashing. Sent it back in January 19th still have not got it back last date I got an update was the 9th feb. I even called ASUS and they told me they never even got sent the motherboard till the 20th of February. Called them and was told someone would get back to me soon. Nothing msg there warranty system got a msg saying will check and get back to you. Week has gone by nothing. Called them again said they got it back will give me an update soon. Week has gone by. My warranty status still shows sent to supplier 9th Feb. it is a joke on how little with them. I have take matter up with fair trade as under Australian consumer law a major fault. Should give the option for a refund, replacement or repair at customers option. Was given no update and still waiting almost 2 months now and counting

Earlier this year purchased a cheaper Dell monitor and within one week the monitor died and had a blue flicker phoned them up and they replaced it with an LG monitor ( i paid the extra) 5 months on the LG Monitor just turns of randomly during the day. Logged a return case along with a follow up phone call advising my experience has not been the best and would like to go for a higher spec Dell, they advised me they would have to send it away and could take 5 weeks. I work from home 100% of the time and have no monitor. Common sense does not prevail with this company. If i cannot get a resolutions ill be taking these guys to Office of Fair Trading, to get my money back as i have a pretty good case. We also have been in the process of setting up a corporate account for our large business but judging on this experience im very wary of completing it.

Came in yesterday for an order, really nice store front, really nice customer service. Turns out I ordered it , immediately drove over, didn't realize I needed to wait for confirmation first but the front desk guy helped me out and said he'll get the packing started immediately for my order ( even though I was at fault because I came in IMMEDIATELY, the email even says at the top to wait for confirmation but i was too hyped for my order) after posting the online order. Helped me get it into my car (they have parking right in front of the doors). Ended up buying headphones and a monitor on the spot and it got processed immediately. Fantastic, couldn't recommend them anymore than I already am. Whoever was working yesterday was fantastic. Will definitely order again when I'm rural. Almost forgot, fantastic prices.

Be very careful with these guys. Store seems good, staff are nice etc.. These guys charge a surcharge on all card transactions and don't allow you to pay cash. As such, you're not able to walk into a store and pay for something for the listed price, it will always be slightly more expensive. This is completely illegal in Australia where you must be able to (somehow) purchase a product for the listed price, whether cash or card without the surcharge, OR where the listed price includes the surcharge. So here we have a company delinquent enough to have a policy like this without (clearly) doing 5mins of due diligence to understand whether the policy is legal or not. The arrogance doesn't instil confidence that after sales support would be anything but horrible. Completely unacceptable and illegal.

I had purchased a Jabra Engage stereo 75 in August 2021 - only issue i had was with the microphone quality customers kept saying it sounds like i am far away from the mic arm - after nearly 2 years heavy use, i thought maybe it is the battery or something, but was suggested to return it in the post, (i am in QLD - purchased online, so not from the Tingalba Store, the return went to VIC somewhere..) after only 1.5 weeks - Scorptech has sent me a brand spanker new one replacement!! I am stoked and thank you very much - after 1 day of use of the new one i have not had any complaints about sound quality from the mic, but was amazed and thankful from the staff, great delivery time for return process, thanks guys! Recommend this mob for any of your office/tech needs!

Purchased a new computer case (23 Feb) from and had a bunch of questions about PC parts, Dylan was the sales consultant. Was helpful, honest and very polite. Excellent customer service without the bombardment of questions which I am accustomed to from other retailers. Reliable and honest with exceptional knowledge on the topic. 10/10 would definitely recommend. The only issue I had was not with him but the actual business, I won a prize fair and square from the wheel and I was informed that I can’t actually pick the prize due to the item being out of stock. I offered to wait a few weeks for the item to circle back but unfortunately I was told I had to pick something today from what was available.

Probably the best customer service I have had for a click and collect. I was expecting to just show up and grab my monitor. I had never been there before so I had a look around and the store was immaculate. I was greeted the instant I walked in and gave them my details. Someone brought the monitor to my car and fully explained to me the best way to unbox and install the monitor. They were all extremely polite and professional. They were also $800 cheaper than the competition even though they were they only ones in town with stock. I just had a really good experience and it was enough to make me jump online to post a review. Really really impressed.

Purchased a monitor and a desktop arm totalling around $1500, I work from home (an hour away) and my partner works in town. She went in to pick it up and they refused. I offered to speak with them directly, provide copies of my ID, provide any proof of ID they needed and they outright refused to provide the order (which I have now had to cancel as I can't make it in during their operating hours) the refund is going to take multiple days so I can't order it from someone else in the meantime and the customer service team over the phone refused to let me speak to Dylan (the instore rep) about it

I purchased a GPU from Scorptec Online two months ago (just before these guys opened), and I was waiting on parts from another retailer for a very long time. Eventually, it got to the point where I ended up cancelling the order with the other retailer and I ended up with a boxed GPU with no home. I called these guys up and they said it’s outside of the return window but they’d give me a one-time courtesy to return the item to them after hearing me out. It’s so rare for retailers to do this and I’m really grateful for their amazing service; 100% would deal with these guys again.

Disappointing. I've been watching Scorptec online for years, and went to their shiny new Brisbane store to check them out - looking for a specific $2000+ monitor that they have in stock. It wasn't on display, and the response was 'Sorry, we can't show you unless you commit to buy it'! At least the salesperson was pleasant while say NO! IMHO most tech can be bought on spec, but not critical human interface items - keyboards, mice, monitors. Not a good start for a southern business trying to get established in Queensland! Back to Computer Alliance...

First time customer at Tingalpa, very impressed with the well presented store and some undercover parking. I purchased a Highgrade V8822 Dual Monitor Wall Mount and the quality is outstanding! Really well made and solid. I also purchased two Acer 27" monitors which were on sale and they're exactly what I wanted. Great service from Shaun(?) at the collection desk too. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality products, great service and fantastic value for money. I will check them out next time I need any IT related products.

they have no idea how to handle electronics, bought a PC from them arrived, a month later started having some issues, sent it back to them, a few months later it came back, the issue remained. From my experience I can say that they do not handle the electronics parts properly, I think they damaged the SDD with static electricity and it constantly ignores the SDD and loads straight into bios. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR TEAM TO USE THE ANTI-STATIC MATTS AND ANTI-STATIC WRIST STRAPS Would not recommend purchasing anything from them.

Do not risk this shop. For last 3 months I've been trying to just get a laptop from these guys. Delay after delay. They even tried shipping some random other laptop without even confirmation from me.they didn't refund the total amount and are happy to sell stock they don't even have. My experience was costly. Aggravating and msy umart and nearly every other pc shop I've never experience such poor form. Website issues constantly. I'm still without a computer months later and they are still changing the delay constantly.

Total scam website! Don’t flush your money! You will never receive the goods! I placed an order for a $2800 monitor in Dec22. It was sent to the Startrack warehouse about 52kms away from the delivery address. When i was home watching for the delivery all that day. They then gave the item to someone else and told me it would be resent to my actual address. Long story short. 4 calls to support and 3 months later. Still no monitor. Still no word from the thieves. Absolute scam. Don’t trust them!!

Purchased a motherboard and case. Motherboard was in stock at store and case was at supplier. Over 1 week wait to get case so I thought I'd switch it out only to find out the motherboard I have purchased was given to someone with a warranty claim when I had already purchased it!! Shipments from Melbourne and Sydney have only taken 2 days to get to me from your competitors. Pick your game up!! Thanks to Lachlan for helping to sort this still not 100% happy but you've done the best you can

The staff was amazing in helping me choose a PC, and honestly couldn’t be happier. After specifying a few things I was after, it took them a few minutes to find exactly what I was looking for, at a more than fair price. Though unfortunately stock was a bit of an issue for the Tingalpa store, the worker sorted out shipping to my door and all processed and done within 20 minutes. Concise, professional, knowledgeable and competitive pricing - love your work boys!

Such a cool establishment! Very modern and friendly feel. The team were inviting and very helpful and answered every question with extreme detail. If buying from these guys, I'd suggest picking up and checking out their showroom while you wait. They have a big range of keyboards and other PC parts and accessories out on display to feel and play with. They also have a fully built PC racing sim cockpit that you can play on while waiting :) Highly recommended!

Came for my parts order. Stayed for the free donut :) These guys are the only local business that stocked (at the time) the specific 'enthusiast' keyboard parts that I was after. The keyboard is a highly under-appreciated part of your computer. A good keyboard adds more to your work and study comfort than any other computer part. I just wish they were open a little later on the weekend as my work hours make it hard to get there before they close!

I have always had pleasant purchasing experiences with Scorptec online. Prices are competitive and reasonable. Communication is great and delivery is always prompt. In this past few months alone I have purchased multiple M.2 NVME SSDs, multiple RAM upgrades and an Elgato HD 60X. Everything was well packaged and arrived safely. I have no reservation at all using Scorptec as my sole supplier for all computer upgrades etc.

Terrible service. mate of mine working overseas in PNG wanted me to collect a monitor for him and bring it up on the next flight. Despite saying this was fine on their order and saying all he needed to provide was a copy of the credit card and licence i wasted an hour driving out to Tingalpa to be told their terms had changed and they needed physical copies. despite telling them me mate isn’t even in the country.

Sydney store is amazing. Brisbane store not so great. Website says orders dispatched in 2 business days. Put a order on Monday, it's now Thurs and my item is still sitting for collection. Paid for express and it looks like I won't be getting my purchase until next Monday. 1 week for so called "express delivery" I can get parts from the states quicker than Scorptec can deliver an item 60km away. Not impressed.

I bought a monitor online in March. It was faulty on delivery. I took it to Tingalpa and the staff onsite were very helpful, but nothing has happened since and no sign of a replacement monitor after 3 months. As other customers have said here, service is ok if the order is correct and free of faults, but the returns policy and procedures are totally unfit for purpose and designed to defer and delay

Dylan could not have been more helpful - I will say this though, stock etas on their website appear to be based on the warehouse and not the actual store so best check with them first. bought a bunch of items through their store and fast delivery. the Biggest thing though is when i had to have a warranty claim done the team at Tingalpa bent over backwards to not just get my device replaced, but they replaced it on the spot and ensured minimum downtime for my network, it was great to have a team that cared about their customers when it wasnt making them any more money.

I was really impressed with Scorptec's advice. I went in to consider purchasing an expensive external graphics card until Shaun pointed out it would not fix my problem. With a few tests he discovered a problem with the audio card that should be covered under warranty. Great work guys. I appreciate your openess and honesty.

one star is if they get your order right, its great. if your order is wrong, my god is it an issue to sort out/replace. Has taken about 3 weeks since i returned my wrongly delivered items with phone calls every second day to sort it out. Will be avoiding this place as much as possible.

Competitive prices. The shop is still being fitted out, so it's very quiet and the lines were short. The onsite parking is not yet open, and there is no parking in the entire street; your best bet is to park at McDonalds and walk down a couple of doors to get to the premises.
