Let me start by saying that our experience with Scout was an absolute nightmare. From the moment we decided to work with them until the closing of the deal, they proved to be the epitome of incompetence. First and foremost, it was evident that the Realtor didn't bother to take the time to get to know us or understand our needs. They consistently misspelled our names on every single closing document, showing a complete lack of attention to detail and care. It's disheartening to think that someone we entrusted with one of the most significant transactions of our lives couldn't even be bothered to get our names right. Moreover, the realtor displayed a complete lack of knowledge about the real estate market in the area. They were unable to answer even the most basic questions about real estate contracts and their selling process. Throughout the process, communication with the realtor was frustrating and unprofessional. In the end, we felt like we were on our own, navigating the real estate process without the support and guidance that we had expected from a professional realtor. We regret ever choosing Scout to represent us, as their incompetence only added stress and frustration to an already complex and overwhelming process. We strongly advise against working with Scout and recommend finding a more reliable and competent real estate agent who truly cares about their clients and takes their responsibilities seriously. Our experience with them was nothing short of a disappointment, and we hope that others can avoid the same unpleasant situation by choosing a different realtor. But I don't think they're completely unethical.

Julian was the best real estate agent I could have ever asked for. In October of 2018 my wife and I started searching for homes casually in the hopes of eventually purchasing. In May of 2019, our landlord at the time decided to sell our rental and gave us one month to move out. We called Julian immediately when we heard the news and he jumped into searching for us right away! What otherwise would have been an extremely stressful and uncertain time was made easy and fun with Julian's assistance. We looked for homes 2-3 times a week for two weeks before we stumbled upon our dream home! Julian negotiated effectively with the seller to make upgrades to the home all while substantially reducing the asking price to save us more money! This should be considered my strongest possible recommendation of Julian and Scout Realty. They will contribute greatly to anyone wishing to buy or sell in Nashville's hot housing market. During our relocation move to Nashville we had the privilege of meeting Thomas Summers from Scout Realty at an open house. We were immediately impressed by what Thomas and Scout Realty had to offer. See, Scout Realty is more of a boutique office with a staff full of caring and bright people willing to help in anyway. In this market you need someone you can trust. Denise Davis, our Scout real estate agent, was simply amazing. She was extremely knowledgeable about the real estate market in Nashville and the surrounding areas. She went above and beyond to help us find a home that met our needs. She was professional, personable, and extremely helpful. Of all the real estate agents I have used in my life, Denise is #1. I will highly recommend her any time I get the chance. I am so thankful that someone recommended her to me! Scout, as a company, was also extremely impressive. Everyone in the office was friendly and professional. They made us feel comfortable and had some neat touches like having a picture of our new home projected on a screen in the closing room welcoming us home. We are extremely glad that we used Scout for our Nashville home search.

Realtor Mark McGlothlin at Scout Realty was outstanding helping us buy a townhouse in Nashville recently. He quickly determined our priorities and was very efficient in terms of showing us townhouses that might work for us, which was especially important, as we were out-of-town buyers. Mark is smart, patient, and a delight to work with. He really knows the value of housing in the area. As soon as our offer was accepted, Mark quickly set up the inspection and radon test, which was important given we were on a very tight timeline to close. Prior to Closing, Mark quickly responded to all our questions and put us in a position to close just 2 weeks after our offer was accepted.
