Barely passes as 1 star. I attended Seaview 1 and a bit years ago. 90% of the staff are horrible and rude, they favour academic students and provide them with help and assistance, however they completely disregard non-academic or students who are struggling. However I’d say 10% of the teachers are AMAZING people. I still remember there was one teacher I had for art when I went here. I won’t give names but I’m sure we all know her. I love art and I’d say I’m pretty good at it. However this teacher made each lesson hell for me. She would constantly tell me my art wasn’t good enough, yell at me for the stupidest little things, blatantly exposed my academic disorder in front of the whole class and told me “it’s not an excuse!” She threw my art in the bin, told me to “do better” on assignments I put my heart into, didn’t let me finish my artwork, gave me D’s on artwork I was unable to finish due to Covid absence even after having a conversation with me about this issue, this list could go on forever. She was a horrible teacher. I don’t understand how she hasn’t been fired. I suspect It’s because she’s close with the Principal of this school. (Don’t even get me started.) PLEASE FIRE THIS ART TEACHER!! She looks a bit like the librarian from monsters university if you want a clue as to who she might be. I’m simply giving constructive criticism! (Thanks for the quote Mrs …………)

I wouldn't give a single star if I could. This is the worst school I've ever been to. Seven years ago, I was just over 18, I was not mature enough. But every time I think about my experience during that time, I think it has a great influence on my life. A Malaysian woman teacher named Sue was the worst teacher I had ever seen. She seems to help Chinese students, but in fact she only cares about students with good grades. She used to take money to help students to write essays for them, and she also helped her husband sell a car to a Chinese international student at the high school. Of course that student later on spent a lot of money on repairing the car. She even went through my bag without my permission and confiscated my belongings. She wore a whole bunch of Pandora bracelets every day, but only because I was 18 and I also wore Pandora, she said I was "showing off". She even made up some facts that got me kicked out of school. I only blame myself for being too young and not powerful enough to argue with her. For now, I’m regret I didn't even leave any evidence, I really want to SUE her. she doesn't even deserve to be a high school teacher.

Genuinely love the school with a strong passion, I’ve been attending for two years now and the transitions between year levels are so well thought out. All staff make sure every student is comfortable and looked after. When I first moved to seaview in year 8, I found it so comforting the way they cared for not only us 8th graders, but every single grade. On the year 8 group’s first day they had only 8th graders and 12th graders in the school. I could continue with many examples of how they care for students, but this I believe is one of the most memorable ones.

Daughter is having a hard time with anxiety. We flagged it with the school in term 1 week 1. They did nothing to help until we were going to change schools. Then only pretended to care. They’re “options” in moving forward were to repeat the year or enter flo program. Didn’t even focus on the well-being of my child. We are now leaving. Took down the aboriginal flag to put up a rainbow flag. Too focused on their school image than the well-being of children. Impossible to get hold of anyone above a year level coordinator to raise issues. Disgusted!!!

Wonderful school! My daughter loves it at Seaview high. All the teachers I have encountered have been engaging and genuinely seem interested in the kids. She was bullied all through primary school and obviously never wanted to go. She never wants to miss a day at Seaview high. The special interest programs are fabulous. Can’t recommend enough.

Upon just a few weeks at the school, I had basically gathered my bearings. Staff are friendly and approachable and help in any way they can. The FLO program is a huge help for students who can’t partake in mainstream school for various reasons. I would recommend to students seeking a school change, and to families in the area.

dont attend this school, it is bad and teachers are disrespectful. dont waste your time all they care about is your grades and the lgbtq, not one ounce of care is given towards people especially from this one art teacher.

We had a disppointing experience with this school, their many claims to be fantastic in all those areas have proven to be numerous scams to draw in the public.

My sons experience was dismissal, they school is only interested in high performing students and have difficulty dealing with students that don't excel.

I got suspended for fighting back after someone tried to break both of my knees. He didn’t get punished in the slightest.
