I’ve been looking at this flower shop for quite some time now & thought I would finally give them a try. I had such high expectations and trust on the bouquets and the florist that I called them to arrange it so I can just pay and leave. Originally when I called I asked if they can do a freehand arrangement for pick-up and for a colour scheme of being on the lighter pastel colour side - the florist asked me to go on their website to give them an example so I went on and found Berry Very - but I did not ask for that arrangement specifically. When I arrived I saw how pretty everything was and even their display had such nice large flowers & some even in the price range I was looking at, so I was excited to see what my order would look like. Not sure if the person misunderstood my request, I just wanted similar colour scheme. When they brought it out, I was shocked at how small it was. Paying almost $70.00 for this arrangement was kind of disappointing because I’ve been to other florist and when they arrange it freely, they don’t cheap out (at least that’s how I felt about secret garden for this order) Also, you can’t really tell in the picture but the two of the light pink roses were semi-wilted on the outer corners. No offence, but other then the pretty wrapping of this arrangement for something that’s considered “free wrapping” (the example picture of the wrapping would’ve cost me over $100.00 apparently) I could’ve went to the local grocery store and got a pretty set but bigger bouquet.... I am just so disappointed in the flowers and was actually so embarrassed and unhappy giving this for my boyfriends mother’s birthday. I regret purchasing this arrangement and should have told them I did not want it and to exchange it to one from the fridge display. Still debating if I would go back to purchase from here, they should keep their standards just as high when it comes to freely creating bouquets.

Very cute floral shop, tons of different flowers and colours and very artistic individuals who put the bouquets together! Ordered a few for a graduation and Teresa helped me put together very beautiful combinations, being flexible with my requests and making the best of their 35% promo flowers going on until end of June. They added a plushie to one of the bouquets and although it was pricey, additional costs for adding the plushie and their fancy papers, the fresh flowers lasted for close to 3 days even after traveling for more than 400 km! The bouquets come wrapped in foam sponges and paper towels to keep them fresh longer. They also gave tips on how to store them to make them last longer since we were traveling far for the actual graduation. They also come in super handy bags so you don’t crush the flowers as you transport them. Their peonies were a showstopper and everyone was in love with the colours and the way they opened. Would recommend going in person and having a few inspo pictures handy for them. Thanks to Teresa and team for your help! As you see, my photos showed the previous order placed online and how it arrived. I tried to contact the vendor and unfortunately, no reply on the same day. I was not near home therefore, the flowers were the least of what I could do for Mother's day and it was horrible. However, the vendor did reply later same day and did apologize for the outcome of the order. Even though the order should've been near perfect given the online rating, I did receive a ungodly appearing set of flowers. The vendor did rectify and send another set with a new arrangement which I do appreciate. I applaud her for quick action and for her willingness to admit to their fault and for helping to make things better though it's a day after Mother's day. Their flower sets are actually pretty - you can see in the 2nd set of photo. Therefore, I'd give them 4 stars for their professionalism and artistic arrangement of the flowers but 1 star less for imperfection. Would I still purchase flowers from them? YES! They have re-instilled my confidence in them making things right for their customers.

Called in advance about a specific item's pricing. Arrived at the store being told another price. Then I agree and purchase one anyway because I needed it then they change the price again WITHIN minutes. In short - they arbitrarily make up the price whenever they see fit and give horrible customer service. There are far better other florists options in the area that is not dishonest or greedy as this place. IN RESPONSE: You're not very clear with your pricing. You can simply say you sell "by the bunch" and not by the stem so there isn't any confusion. If you give a price per stem, and the customer wants to buy the said stem at the said price, then honor it. If you need to clarify things, it isn't good customer service to give attitude and stomp around in frustration because you aren't able to articulate what you want. Also, I saw how one employee put aside what they felt like was worth $15, then have another employee come in and count and decide to deduct a few stems from the pile. THAT is what ARBITRARY means.

Secret Garden has been my go-to florist for years. I have gotten plants, pots, bouquets and individual stems from them and everything has always been incredible quality and lasts for a long time. The store is super cute, and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Their flowers are very competitivity priced for the quality. They also often have deals and promo’s often. They were also my florist for my May 2023 wedding and I was blown away from start to finish with their services, prices and product. I talked to a few florists prior, but Secret Gardens was so well priced. They are super easy to work with and will guide you through your options and what flowers can work within your budget. I started with inspiration photo’s and they executed my vision, and the florals on my wedding day were perfect! You will feel so well taken care of every step of the way working with them. Would recommend Secret Garden for event florals, bouquets and stems and potted plants!

Ridiculously expensive! Awful customer service, so unprofessional! They charged 271.20$ they charged for a bouquet that wouldn't even worth 150$. It is a scam! It is a Valentine, I get it, and no problem to pay 300$ bouquet but for a decent one - my husband is constantly buying similar flowers and it always look amazing! It is a pure robbery. I visited the store half an hour after by Husband brought me the flowers and asked to fix the situation - refund/discount. From the store manager I got the answer "This is Valentine that's why it's so expensive. This is how we do business". Obviously no refund or discount was issued, spent there half an hour - but apparently they have enough business so they don't care about their customer service. I am also looking at the comments below and see that except fake "sorry" they never actually help people if there is a problem.

First time being here but I called prior to inquire about inventory on peonies. The lady on the phone was very polite and honest and mentioned that it’s season is almost over and limited quality and invited me to come in to inspect the condition prior to making any decisions, when we went in today, we initially asked for bouquet of the best remaining ones and they suggested some weren’t so good anymore and asked if we wanted to mix in some roses and taking out half the peonies instead because they did not feel comfortable selling anything not to their standards. I respect and appreciate their ethical business practices and highly recommend to anyone looking for floral needs. The store looked very elegant and clean and even their “simple” wrapping was 10x better than any other flower shops. Thank you for great first experience; my gf loved the bouquet :)

My boyfriend has been getting me flowers here and the arrangement is always so beautiful! The wrapping is always top notch and this Valentine's Day they got new cards and I'm in love! I hope they will co Tinie to keep using these style of cards & envelopes in the future. They're so polished and elegant and goes so well with the bouquets esthetics. I love blue roses but the ones they have here are out of this world gorgeous! The roses are so big and such a deep blue with a bit of sparkle on the edges too! These are the Indulgent By Secret Garden (Premium). I'm always so happy getting their bouquets and because they're all nice my boyfriend can't pick something wrong LOL

Excellent service. Went there today to pick up some flowers. The first bunch I picked up was on sale, however the store owner saw that that bunch is clearly below her standards and refused to charge me for the bunch, giving it to me for free. It shows that the store is really committed to sell customers flowers that the staff themselves would want to bring home. That being said, I was touched by the owner's commitment and bough another bunch of flowers. The staff was very friendly despite it being busy, and I received valuable insight regarding promoting the longevity of the flowers I got. The flowers are decently priced as well as being very fresh.

Been coming to this store for a few years. Today when called and asked for a bouquet pick up, I was told that the bouquet I wanted had Lillys that are still closed. ( the photo on the website had a few opened ones). I asked if they could throw in a few flowers to make it more presentable since the unopened flowers would damage the presentation. The lady on the phone was very nice to say that I would have to increase the budget, disregarding the fact that they could not deliver the bouquet displayed on the website. Cost of throwing in 3 flowers? $10? Cost of not throwing them in - a lost sale and a lost customer.

Strongly recommended this flower store to everyone. I change fresh flowers in my place every week, in the contract of other store this store is more cheaper. They have more types of flowers than other stores. Couple weeks ago I went to most of the flowers shop looking for peonies. However it is out of the flower season. There is nowhere I can find it, those peonies is for my auntie’s wedding. Once store own knew that, they tried their best imported flowers for us. We ordered flowers for pickup for Mother’s Day. They had great selections so with different sizes and prices. When we went to order there was an issue with the system and a bit of confusion which could been hectic for them as it was Mother’s Day weekend. We managed to settle it without much hassle and picked up the flowers. They looked exactly like the pictures and was bigger than we expected (which was nice). My MIL loved the flowers! Especially the lilies that continued to bloom over the next few days. They were very fragrant and the flowers held up well.

Visited the shop today hoping to look at their cut flower selection with a project in mind. Unfortunately due to the pandemic , walk-in customers cannot enter but instead you call and they can make a bouquet for your budget and preference. I asked about the availability of specific flowers, and the staff was very helpful and communicative . In the end I got a single stem of ilex, at a fair price, and was surprised how bountiful it was! Safe, no contact payment. Very pleased! A small business I would recommend supporting during these difficult times.

Called a week before Valentines day to book 2 Dozen cupid roses for my girlfriend. Today (Feb 14) I called to see if my order was ready to be picked up. The lady asked me for a confirmation number that I did not receive because I ordered the flowers over the phone. The lady asked me for my name and number and said they will get back to me. 3 hours later, no one has called or got back to me. The busiest day for a flower shop and doesn't even have the common decency to call back for a follow up. So disappointing to come across an experience like this.

I ordered sympathy flowers from this store because they were close to the funeral home in North York that I needed them to be delivered to. I paid a total of $158 for a basket of flowers that were nowhere close to the picture posted online. The flowers were sprayed with pastel colour as requested but the number of blooms are nowhere near the amount on the photo image online. I want to warn others to be careful when ordering from them. What a rip off.....They will definitely never get my business again. Photos show expectation vs reality

I am from Vancouver and I wanted to order flowers for my mother in Toronto and so I choose this company because of the proximity and the photos online. But the flowers whilted the next day. Even though she put them in water right immediately after receiving the delivery. Ive got to say spending the $160+ was not worth getting flowers that are not fresh. This is in response to the flowers that we’re resent to my mom for Mother’s Day. Thank you for making it a great experience for my mother on Mother’s Day. Well done!

Ordered a cactus and succulent in a seashell container for my wife for our anniversary. Ordered online and just picked it up. Really really.. REALLY impressed. They hand wrote the note that I had typed online to go with it in very nice calligraphy. And they added an actual starfish and a seashell to go with it. My wife loved it as did I. Thanks for doing such a great job with it. I don't buy flowers often but when I do I'll definitely be coming back here. Thanks again, keep up the great work!

I âm a returning costumer! My boyfriend always buy flowers from them! Although it’s super cute and beautiful, the quality of the flowers is behind zero! We pay so much money for them but they stay only for 3,4 days! I really care about them and do all the good treatments! Even my friend told me she had the same experience! They respond really fast when I called to order a furnal flower in a hurry and place the order for me right way. They perpared really fast and change the wrapping paper and roses colors as I said. The bouquet comes out really pretty. The girls in store are all really nice and polite. They also give my a red rose as a Chrismas gift when I come to pick up my order. My friends and I walk past this store and got interested with the flower display outside. Not long after, we started looking into different flowers and were assisted by the amazing staff members. This place smells amazing inside with all of the fresh flowers beautifully arrange! We walk out with some bouquet of flowers and small plants for home décor. I highly recommend ordering your floral needs from this place as they know they are doing and the staff is very knowledge and professional.

We ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mom on Mother's day and we were extremely disappointed as the delivered bouquet was nothing like the image online. This is misleading advertising and we don't appreciate this form of deceptive customer service. When we contacted them about this, we were told this is a common issue!!!!!!! We will never order from here again! And I suggest if you care about the flowers you send to your loved one, you think twice about sending them from this florist.

Quick and friendly service! Been a customer since February 2020. Have ordered both in store and through Instagram and you can expect the same level of service through both, and within budget! Their curbside pickup is also pretty quick and easy despite the Valentine's weekend rush. Beautiful flowers and they come beautifully wrapped/packaged as well! I've also received a few rose bouquets from Secret Garden and the bottom leaves were already trimmed which was a great time saver.

Secret Garden made this lovely bouquet according to the colour preferences that I asked for, they’re nice and well-communicated! Although the price is a bit higher during Vday but it’s still acceptable for the special person that I’m buying for❤️ The day I received the flower happened to the truck driver protest in dt, they even sent a second delivery to make sure I could receive the flowers. Such a good customer service! They do their best to make good things happen!!

Bought a peace lily and 4 lucky bamboo stems. I appreciate the help and patience of the new employee (major shout-out) who was on phone with me and my GF for 30 mins showing us all the plants + vases they have through the window. That was solid customer service. Couldn't go in due to the covid-19 lockdown. Wish their website was updated with all the plants they have in store so it is easier to shop. The website is pretty empty, they have a much larger variety in store.

Spent 180 dollars on a bouquet and a card and a box of chocolates and some lights. But I only got the bouquet. These are for my girlfriend birthday. I’m really not happy about this. I asked the store they said they forgot. First time purchase then this. If you place yourself as a high class florist store, you know people buy your stuff to celebrate special occasions, and this should not happen. They offered store credit to me but I’m not gonna buy again so who cares.

I went to Secret Garden yesterday to buy flowers for my daughter's graduation. The lady who helped me was so nice and patient with my request, suggesting colours/flowers that will go well with purple roses. She took utmost care and putting the flowers together and was really thoughtful about the arrangement. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name (wish I did). In any case, I will go back one of these days for roses for myself. Their flowers are really lovely.

Yesterday, I had to buy one of the most important bouquets of my life - to ask my girlfriend to be my wife. I went and met with Lydia by chance, one of the employees working here. She was the most professional and helpful florist I had ever met - she took the time to confirm everything and tried her best to make the purchase worth it. Her customer service went above and beyond and her artistic sense was wonderful. Thank you Lydia - she said yes by the way.

To be honest paying $94 doesn't seem worth it. I called ahead to receive the 35 % more flowers promo. The bundle online seem way bigger than what I received with the additional flowers added in. My sunflowers look dead and I had to pay extra $5 to add the flowers in the bundle for the extra wrapping... The extra flowers would have just been another bundle on the side. That just didn't make sense to me. To have 2 different bundles of flowers.

Go to florist for me to be honest! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. I walked into the store looking for some flowers for my Mom's birthday with the budget of $40. Once I told the lady my budget and occasion she introduced me to the different flowers and let me pick while telling me the price if I were to add additional flowers/decor. I got these for $28. I had cash on me so I think it was also a 10% off. Love this place!

I bought a flower and wanted to get a refund, they said no refunds only exchange, then i said okay I’ll exchange it but they didn’t even end up doing the exchange whatsoever. I am obsessed with flowers and it is the second time my boyfriend got the flowers from Secret Garden! So gorgeous❤️❤️The florists are so cute, and answered all the questions I had. Im in love with Secret Garden❤️❤️❤️ Update: I dried blue roses and they look really nice. Cut off the stems of the flowers and then just dry them. Because if you let them dry in the floral foam, the flowers are going to get covered with mold~

Pre-ordered 2 rose bouquets for an event. Both bouquets had multiple dry and withering roses. Had the same issue last time I ordered as well, and was told the coloured/dyed roses tend to wither quicker than natural roses. This time, one of the bouquets only had natural red roses, which were also drying already. I couldn’t really make last minute changes to the event, so had to use the bouquets/flowers they provided.

Lovely flowers and service! I was looking for a last minute bouquet and luckily they were the only florists open until 8pm. The lady that works here was very friendly and put a lot of care into handpicking and wrapping the bouquet for me. They even gave me a complimentary note and added a plastic wrapper as it was raining outside. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others!

Just made a last minute Mother's Day purchase and requested at short notice delivery for same day despite their deadline policy on orders. Very accommodating, friendly, and more importantly, professional in every way. Rest assured, you can take my word for it. Amazing, these folks do some really lovely work. Despite the current situation with COVID-19, Secret Garden is doing a great job in being able to continue to serve customers, for example, being able to accomodate specific requests from me. They have a great eye for design, and they deliver around the GTA. If you're in the market for a custom bouquet, look no further than Secret Garden.

This is NOT what I ordered. I bought it for my friend’s funeral. I picked this one with purple flowers in a purple vase because that’s her favorite color. They gave me a red vase. And the flowers are a hard pass - you’d call this a “purple bouquet”? Since I picked it up the evening before the funeral and only opened it when I got home, I didn’t even have time to order another one.

Great store right in the heart of north york. I go here all the time for flowers but I gave a lower rating since they make you go all the way upstairs to get your preordered flowers. They also put this cheap black and white page behind your flowers with the name and number of the store. It’s extremely tacky and I had to change a bunch of our orders to get rid of them

Besides the gorgeous flowers/plants, Secret Garden Florist has super friendly staff, who patiently explained how to care for the colourful baby's breath I bought. Today they had 50% off flowers out front, and pop-up cafe inside! So lovely inside the store as well; I'll definitely be back for more flowers **please note pictured is my own arrangement/vase

I bought a Raspberry on Valentine's day and really satisfied! The flowers were fresh and the packaging was unique. Honestly, there wasn't a place in Toronto where I liked flower packaging so much, but this place is the best. Even though it was really busy, but all staff was really kind! I want to buy it again if I have a chance next time.

Very nice florist with quite possibly one of the nicest collection of flowers in the city! Service is very nice and the store is so pleasant, I do find that their prices are quite pricey though but perhaps that's the standard these days. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but there is a spot for them in the Basil Box parking location

I've had great experiences everytime I've picked up flowers here. Someone responded to my online request within 15min. Very kind staff. The quality of the roses was excellent and last noticeably longer than the grocery store flowers. I come here for more special occasions and I think they're quite reasonably priced for florists.

I was really excited to receive flowers from this flower shop since the photos on the site look so beautiful but sadly I was disappointed. My partner ordered a $92 bouquet of 6 roses that were delivered already browned/damaged. I would think if someone is spending $92 on only 6 roses, the quality should be close to perfection.

I actually went in there last minute not knowing what kind of flower boutique it was. I was really impressed with how beautiful the interior was. Great service and the arrangement was beautiful!!! Matched the website pic and were able to do next day morning pick-up. I especially appreciated the cardboard bottom which encased the vase. It made transportation so easy! Just be sure to cut it off before you hand it over as they taped it really well! :) Definitely recommend!

Pretty flowers but terrible delivery services. Asked receiver to go outside of her work to pick up flower herself, because they couldn’t find parking. The best flowershop in town! They have the largest assortment of roses to select from. They also have the most fresh and beautiful flowers. I always grab a bundle of roses, and these are they only roses that don't dry up fast. Always fresh and fantastic. Great service. Prices are fair for their boutiques.

I ordered a bouquet to be delivered for a friend's birthday. The flowers were delivered during the morning of my requested date and my friend assured me that the arrangement was fresh and beautiful. With the exception of a few roses, everything is still looking good a week later. Thank you!

Ordered flower arrangement delivery service from here during a busy season. They sent my gift flowers with a wrong message card to the recipient. When I contacted them about this error, they made another delivery. I understand mistakes can be made and appreciate the their responsiveness.

I placed my order for Mother’s Day with them at the last minute, which is something called florist’s choice. I loved it, how their creative are, and the bouquet is so nice with matte white wrapping paper. Definitely coming back to order again.
