I want to share my experience to suggest you STAY AWAT from this car park if you want to stay mentally & emotionally healthy It maybe sabotage your mental strength easily by literally doing nothing. When I tried to get out the car park within 3hrs free parking, it showed I need to pay $8, but it didn’t recognise my credit card and didn’t return my ticket. When I went to the pay station it said contact the cashier. After 20mins no-answer I decided left my car in the car park and called a Uber home at 11:00pm thought Secure Parking will help me sort it out. 1. First call: A man voice finally answered when I got home, and I explained what happened there and he said it should be okay will call me back today. 2. Second call: No one contacted me, so I called again with 30mins waiting, a girl said I need to call them again when I got to the car park and pay $8, then they will manually help me out. 3. Third call: I waited 40mins in the car park call them but no one answered, so I used the pay station to call them. A girl answered, it was super noisy around me because of rush hour, I suggested her to check my call history so that can save time for both of us, she totally ignored and brought up $42 because I parked overnight, I argued this is too frustrating because it’s not my fault. She asked coldly “you pay or not?” I said I am happy to pay $8 not $42, because it’s not my fault. She hanged up the phone So all in all: 1 - They charged me extra for a less than 3 hours parking when they committed free 2 ☹️ - It’s card reader fault cannot read my ANZ credit card which is working perfectly with any other merchants but I have to pay for their fault. 3 ☹️ - I have to pay for the overnight charge when they couldn’t let me out and no provided help. 4 - Customer service is hopeless, they won’t listen, they won’t help The whole experience totally drained me out. So to avoid this, you either check at the machine to sort it out before you go or never leave the place when you have a problem, just stay there wait for their helpless help.

This is for Secure Parking itself, not the car park. But I was going to be parking here. I had previously booked months in advance for The Barracks car park that was on the same weekend as the Ed Sheeran concerts. I got my parking for $11.10. Secure Parking had the audacity to not even notify before, but decided to cancel my booking, refund me and then sell my spot off to someone else; without the option before hand of still wanting the spot. Then proceeded to email me after they had done this to notify me. By the time I got the email, and went in to book another spot at a ridiculous $110 per bay; it was already sold out. I would have paid extra for that spot if need be, but to cancel it without even the option of keeping the spot to pay extra? The behavior of their actions, is ridiculous, dumbfounding and non-professional at all! And I enjoy parking at the Secure Parking locations cause its super easy but this was just wrong.

My initial review below has been resolved and the credit promised provided. The car park itself is great and the 4 stars is because complaint wasnt resolved initially but they came to the party and followed up on their promise after my review, hopefully further interactions can be plesant and easily resolved in future. Initial reveiw: I prebooked parking online only to get there and the gates be open for free parking, when i asked for a refund i was refused, being told it guaranteed me a spot, however how can they guarantee a spot when the car park is a free for all, they arent controlling who or how many cars are in there. I show up the next day (as i preebooked 2 days in advance) car park is still free. Secure parking have 0 customer service or care, with a monopoly on the market, i strongly suggest looking at other private parking arrangements for inner city daily parking.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Purchased a car park online before a Bronco's home game, turned up on the day to be informed there was no car parks available and was re-directed to the another facility further away. When i arrived at this facility i was also told that there was no carparks available forcing me to drive further away and pay for parking again and walk 30mins with my children to the ground and nearly miss kick-off. Called up to get a refund, no apology told it would be 3-5 business days (has been nearly 10 and still no refund). Would never bother again booking a carpark with these con-artists happy to take your money, no guarantee you will receive what you have paid for and make you chase them to get your money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

Probably the most convenient secure parking in this area. This is why this place fills up even though they have four levels. BOOK ONLINE then you can exit at the gates. When we went and just pressed for a ticket, only one of the payment machines were working. The people were coming back up to the ground level to use the ONE machine because they were instructed to pay prior to exiting. After waiting an hour to finally get to pay, we noticed that there is actually an option for you to tap a card to pay on exit If I booked online, I could have just entered a pin to exit!!

I was charged $15 for under 2 hours. I had been in earlier that day but left before 2 hours as well. If you can’t go in multiple times without being gouged then please put up an obvious sign. This is really unfair.. I Have been waiting on the call centre now for 40 minutes. I am number. 3 in line and current wait time is 22 minutes. I was number 10 at the start with a 7 min expected wait time. It keeps going up kind of like the rates. * has now become 38mins waiting time. This is a joke and you are crooks.

Read the fine print for your early bird online booking through Secure Parking. Leaving just a few minutes too early and they charge you $41 vs $16. I understand if you leave later that it should charge you the full amount or the amount of an event but leaving early should not incur any additional fee if you have entered by the specified times. It makes no logical sense and is really just greed. Pretend someone else is parking on the space if you have to.

  • Debbie Jones

Scammers!!!! Don't think because you paid on line and you have an entry code that you are safe because we paid for our parking months in advance then because there was a concert on they increased the parking rate by $100 and cancelled our code but we didn't know till we got to the Barracks and it wouldn't accept our code. A worker let us in because we were holding up traffic but we had to pay the high price on our way out.

  • Jean Seah

First 2 hours are free - ample time for a meal at the various classy eateries. Currently there is a jam of cars at the exit, with someone stuck at the exit and 2 cars trying to exit the wrong way. 7 cars in total unable to get out. Good thing we are well under our first 2 hours or this jam would be a pickle! And now we are trying to get out the other exit but another car is trying to get in from the other direction. Sigh.

  • Tim Ross

Barracks car park Brisbane. $89 to park for 3 hours while attending an event at Suncorp Stadium. Zero signage to let you know in advance about the price gouge until you get to the payment machine before exiting and it says 'night parking $89'. What an absolute disgrace. Borders on criminal. Secure can charge what they like or what the law will allow, but to have no signage other than on exit is disgraceful.

Just spent over an hour stuck on level B4, cars backed up, no movement, staff non existent, no help at all. Fumes were horrendus now have headaches and respiratory congestion. This was after a Broncos games that only had an attendance of 17,000. We park here regularly during the season , have been at games where there were 50,000 and no issue. Thanks Secure Parking for making me sick.

$68.68 for parking car overnight. I tried to check the website prior for parking fees no clear info on overnight. Found a mac fee reference about $40. Phone parking office, confusing info on rate and focus on daily fees. This very expensive and website info is unclear on overnight parking. If its not offered - web page should have clear statement or approx fee to be charged.

Yesterday 11th June, I parked at your facility, knowing I got two hrs free parking, arriving approx 3.15.and was back at my car 6hrs later after being at Lefty's...your rates say max of $41...I am an aged pensioner, and was expecting weekend rates....but shock horror my bill came to $61.50. I will never park here again as certainly can't afford that sgain.

  • Kathy

We paid $50 for the inaptly named 'secure-a-spot' for a football game. We fought through football crowds, road closures and peak hour traffic only to be told at the entrance to the car park that it was full and we should contact the car park for a refund. We had to drive kilometres to find another park and walk just as far, missing half the game.

  • Greg Noble

A great option for Caxton Street and Broncos games, but for events it’ll now be over $70. The online booking system is easy to use and there are also links to tiger options for parking. The coat park itself is easy to traverse and it clears quickly. They also block off the top of Caxton Street for events, so was Ali g is usually easy.

  • Martin Sutton

I booked parking 5 weeks before at an early bird rate. Secure parking realised there was an event on that day but left my booking until 1 day before ‘unfortunately’ having to cancel my booking. ‘Fortunately’ they were able to now take a booking in the same location but ‘unfortunately’ it would now be 9 times the cost. Absolute scam.

  • J K

Absolutely disgusting they change the price to $89 on game nights for parking. This is daylight robbery. Enough costs are rising without the blatant extortion of car parking fees. $90 is laughable and an absolute rip off. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. I don’t even know how they’re allowed to get away with this.

  • Darren

When the online booking works it is ok BUT do not think that booking on line SECURES YOU A PARKING SPOT, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PAID. It does not. More than once we have had to leave a full car park even though we have paid for spot and this happened more than once and has caused our daughter to be late for work numerous times.

  • Byron Bateson

Booked parking for the State of Origin approx 3 weeks before the game at $25 only to have the booking cancelled 2 days prior and instructed I needed to re-book at $85 because of an event (the State of Origin). Blatant cash grabbing and a clear lack of organisation to have prices updated appropriately prior to events

  • Xime Minter

Terrible service! Grabs for cash. Misleading advertising at the entry. They tried to charge me at first $60 and then asked for $41 and then bargaining for $18. Please don’t book or use this parking. We are just thinking to take them to court or to report them to city council for misleading advertising.

  • lorraine Lai

called 6 times and phone cut out 6 times, finally got through and service consultant told me someone will call me back in a few minutes ... that was a few days ago and no one has responded to my email from 2 wks ago?? pre paid my parking but no car parks were available after 15min of searching around

  • Peach Dee

Dodgy as! Closed off all pay machines and told to pay at gate. Was not allowed to enter ticket at gate to exit, instead EVERYONE had to pay by hand held eftpos machine handled by gate person who took ticket and put in bin with no display of amount to pay. Seriously biggest scam ever!

  • Erik Merkley

First two hours are free, but then it gets expensive quickly. No better rates on evenings or weekends like you'd get in the city. Secure A Spot doesn't seem to be available, what's with that? Consider street parking just a bit further down on Petrie Terrace instead.

  • Aaron Francis

This is the place I like to keep my car even it's not being driven. 1st 2 hours are free anything after is expensive. Only use for quick shopping in the complex, don't think you can park here and have a night out in the city unless you want to pay $$

  • Angela Jones

Secure parking at the Barracks is terrible. It took so long to get out that it wanted me to pay a further $8. I had already paid at the machine before going to the car as requested. The pay machine at the exits are very slow causing the delay!

  • camille Letzter

Just a big thank you to Brodie the security manager of the secure car park at the Barracks ! He went above and beyond his duty to help me with my lost ticket ! Thank you again Brodie you are awesome ! Merry Christmas ! Camille

  • Graham Dell

Worst experience of my life, 10 years parking at the barracks found it easy and convenient, sad to say I will never park here again, $65 to park for an event is rich! Exactly what is wrong with the world, pull your head in!

  • Erin Gonzalez-Wilkes

Horrible customer service, have been on hold for 2 hours and counting. Have emailed their support and no answer. And am calling to question their ridiculous parking cost we had received over the weekend. $180 for 5 hours!

  • Jeremy Chapple

Secure a spot entry and exist instructions confusing and unclear. Made to feel like customer was at fault for not knowing to read fine print in purchase email. Poor customer experience

  • Oliver S

Opportunistic cash grabbers, they wanted to charge dinner patrons $60!!! My mate: “ we are having dinner at the restaurant” The parking attendant: “ it’s $60 flat rate”

  • Rebecca Gordon

Went to park for the broncos game. Absolutely disgusted that you would try to charge $89 for 2 hours. Will never be parking ever for anything. Just disgusting.

  • Christine Day

They constantly keep putting their rates up and have less car parking spaces available. I wish my wages were going up as quickly as your parking fees were.

  • Debbie Roos

Went to the movies, 3 hours of free parking, fantastic, and it has high ceilings that we can get out 4wd in and out of, we come here often. …

  • CandoLXD

Took forever to get out. Need to fix the lights at the exit so it's more streamlined. Would have rated 0 stars if I could. Avoid if possible.

  • Daniel Veldhoven

Beware and stay away, anytime Suncorp has an event these guys price gouge will not be using them again. A disgusting company ran by felons.

  • JAMES WUST (Wust Plasta Patch & Paint)

2 hrs of free parking $60 flat rate when games are being held at the stadium with an initial 10 min free parking period. …

  • Cameron Perrins

The fees they are asking are not right. How can you justify over $80 for a carpark on event days? I find it absolutely disgusting.

  • L

Was just forced to pay $89 for parking which states max $50 online. Couldn’t book online either. Absolute rip off!!

  • Alana Hughes

First 2hrs free. Easy to access and find a space. Insider tips...book online for drastically reduced prices! …

  • Sue Law

Booked my parking online which was great. Think they should allocate bays as it was nearly full when I arrived.

  • Ron Prasad

The elderly rap battles are a bit much. But 2 hours free parking and more if you see a movie makes up for it

  • Amber Searle

I come here everyday and have never had a problem, great getting in and out, very easy and lots of parking.

  • tana leavasa

There were no parks available at the venue so we had to fluff around trying to get a park. Dissapointing.

  • Dead Pool

Pricing just keeps changing for early birds parking from the last month I visited this place???

  • P S

Most hopeless customer service ever experienced, plus illegal price gouging on game nights

  • Nev Gibson

Close to Suncorp Stadium but it may take 30 minutes to exit car park after games finish.

  • Jacqueline Goodwin

Intimate, alternative and unique movie experience. A big favourite for me and the man!

  • CARLO Bonomo

Pre booking is a lot more expensive than just turning up and pay for parking …
