Update - My wife is still suffering from acute pain above the pelvic bone. We consulted another doctor, and she said we had two options. 1. Plan for a second one 2. To cut open and restitch the area. If such experienced Doctors show negligence, it's the ordinary people who end up suffering their whole life. ------------------------------ I usually don't write reviews, but our experience forced me to write one; this could help my friends in the locality. Shwetha was admitted to the hospital on 12th Nov 2018, and our baby was delivered on the 14th night. Before admission, we found out that except for the private ward, we had no other option left as this was a nursing home treating many cases. So the doctor asked us not to take any chances putting her in a shared ward. Recently my friends delivered the baby at two different private hospitals around Bangalore. I learned the following - 1. For the money I paid, the service and comfort were below average. 3.1k per day for a small private room is steeply-priced. Nurses are not experienced and proactive; I run behind for every damn thing. 2. After delivery, they didn't even have a wrap for the baby. Not kidding; I had to bring one myself. And nothing cozy for a just-born baby... Seriously? 3. Charges from gynecologists were reasonable, but OT & other doctor's visit charges were quite steep compared to other hospitals. 4. All hospitals seem to have a package for standard and C sections, which ranges between 45k and 65k, respectively (all-inclusive). I paid 68k for the C-section and an additional 7k for OT medicine. And to top that, I spent around 8k on IVs and other drugs. In total, 85k for 3-4 days of hospitalization and delivery. I suggest you talk to the doctor and the management about the cost and facilities before admission. Our baby is healthy, and mom is doing fine. Good luck!

This is one of the worst hospitals I have visited . My spouse was already diagnosed with Dengue and as it was Sunday we went to consult a physician. We checked with receptionist , what time the physician will be available . She said by 10 a.m. We reached hospital well ahead time. It looked less like an hospital more like garage. The doctor as usual was 25 mins late. Its acceptable , as we were the only patient present there. Punctuality 1/5 . Next we went to hand him all the report. He reads out the report like an English teacher, teaching Kindergarten kids . You have VIRAL FEVER , WHICH VIRAL FEVER, ITS DENGUE!! In my mind I was like , yes sir I too can Read the report. Its not rocket science . Doctor is least bother to even ask the symptoms or even examine the patient . The platelet count is 1.19 lakh /cu mm . He right away says get her admitted to hospital. I politely refused saying , I stay pretty close by to hospital . Then he throws a satire towards my wife , you have been diagnosed with Dengue and your husband does not want you to get admitted !! I dont want too!! This hospital is not worth it and I dont trust this doctor. This is my experience with one of the physicians , I dont want to take his name and reduce his patient count . I just want him to read this post , and change his attitude towards patients. Doctor is a noble profession , please do not make it a business. Hospital 2/5 Doctors Professionalism 0/5

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Dr. Roopa - Stay Away I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Dr. Roopa recently, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. Her behavior was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Dr. Roopa displayed a complete lack of empathy and compassion towards her patients. She seemed disinterested in my concerns. Furthermore, her communication skills were severely lacking. She was dismissive and condescending when I tried to ask questions or seek clarification about my condition. This left me feeling neglected and unheard, which is the last thing any patient should experience, especially in a sensitive field like gynecology. It's crucial for a healthcare professional to be able to communicate effectively with their patients, and Dr. Roopa falls severely short in this regard. Save yourself the stress and disappointment - find a gynecologist who truly cares about their patients' well-being and treats them with the respect they deserve. Dr. Roopa is simply not worth your time or trust.

I know when doctor was came we are in outside. Because we are waiting for doctor from 5:30 pm  in your hospital. Okay when doctor is came we are in out side. But Once we came back to the hospital  why we  should wait for more than 30 mnts for a doctor consultation. You have sent three more patients for consultation in front of us.  For this type of service why should I take appointment from you people. Moreover I have taken appointment on  afternoon 1 pm, you people only called 1 pm and change time to evening 8 pm.   Also I gon to outside on 7 pm and came back on 7:45.  All doctors are so nice and treating to patient too good. Because of your mistake, customer is experiencing badely. I requesting to the sharavathi hospital owner  please tell your staff to how to behave with customer.  Because your hospital is one of the reputed hospital in Bangalore. Please don't loose that name

One of the best Hospitals I have ever visited. Dr Roopa is wonder woman and an awesome gynecologist. She never suggests anything out of context, doesnt rely on heavy medication, encourages natural remedies and above all, always smiling and has a great level of patience. The labor process was all so smooth and comfortable. Hospital staff is too cooperative. Night duty nurses are excellent, never say NO to any number of calls at any point of time. Reception staff is professional, and are always at task. The most important segment, pricing. We found it quite reasonable enough, compared many other hospitals around, who charge exorbitant prices for not so appreciating services. Just a small thing, wards can be a little cleaner. Highly recommended.

I simply had a stomach because of vomiting and as we went there to see the doctor. the doctor was impolite and told us to get admitted simply and simply started lots of tests.. even if i were to believe that it was necessary to get admitted, the treatment could have finished in max..2 to 4 hours that too if i need to have glucose bottles..they made me admitted for 2 continues days and they charged me 9400 rs bill for only a stomach pain that too medicine of around rs 1800 was purchased by my attended. Worst experience ever..my real uncle is also a doctor so i know a lot of stuffs. believe me this hospital will simply do lots of tests even though there is no need as such.. so don't never ever go for this hospital..

Firstly I am sharing my own experience. I had been to the hospital along with my wife. To be frank the doctors and staffs are very good and they behaved in a very good manner. I belong to middle class family and my salary is also very less. But they treated me in a friendly manner. They guided me in every single step of my wife delivery. Even they charged very very less fees. I personally want to thank Dr. Roopa ma'am and Deepa ma'am. I wish from my heart that God should give you lots and lots of health and wealth. Thank you each and every one of the sharavathi hospitals. By God's grace we blessed with boy baby. Both mother and baby are healthy. Thank you once again a lot.

First Experience. Worst Experience. I had met with a minor accident in the wee hours on 9th Nov, 2015 and hence reached the nearby Sharavathi hospital, Attiguppe, at about 3am. This big hospital had a big staff too - a watchman, a nurse & a duty doctor. They were all visibly irritated as I intruded their deep sleep. That's understandable. However, what was more appalling was that the f@#$ing duty doctor (Dr. Sachin, I was told) did not even care to get his ass off the bed to check on me. The trio promptly shooed me away, limping with excruciating pain. I was denied first aid on a flimsy ground that the X-ray lab technician was absent. How will the hospital mgt explain this?

I was skeptical to visit this hospital in the beginning but I took a chance since it is very near to my place of residence. I was guided appropriately to the doctor. General check ups were done by the attender which I found very systematic (although a brief process). The results were then handed over to the doctor in charge, Dr. Sushmita (who did an amazing job), followed by her check ups with good number of questions. My questions were answered appropriately and I loved the overall atmosphere of the hospital. Thank you!

  • Awesomeness

Doctors and nurse deserve 5star rating but other staff are worst people especially receptionist and other staff. Only Reason I visited here is Dr. Roopa madam or else I would not step in here. Kindly remove receptionist(Manjula and Deepa) as their arrogant and rude response will keep your hospital patient and attenders to think of other hospitals. They don’t deserve work in service sector. Dear management Kindly consider this seriously.

My mother has a carbuncle on the back and she goes for regular dressing with Dr.Prakash .He is soft spoken, nice person and a good doctor. However today she went in early and had to get the dressing from Dr.Rashmi(duty doctor) .. She spoke rudely with absolutely no concern for the patient. Request her to practice the basic etiquette of a doctor, because she clearly lacks those qualities.Very unbecoming for a doctor.

  • Ocean friends

They take appointment but doctors doesn't arrive on time after making us wait for 1 and half hours they say to come next day but next day same thing happened and we waited for 2 hours. Whenever we ask the receptionist says doctoc is on the way and arrive in just 5 mins. If you have full day to waste then you can goto this hospital. They charge heavy fees but the service is like a govt hospital.

  • Amar Hugar

Visit this hospital only in case of emergency or for consultation purpose... Don't get admitted even though if they force to admit, they grab money from you by unnecessary testings and charge randomly... Only Kerala staff exists and very difficult to have conversations with them. Staffs are not honest over there...

  • Srushti NS

Absolutely worst service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone in case of an emergency to go here. Visiting doctor does not show up on time, nurses are not well qualified and the cleaning staff are extremely rude and don’t know how to handle patients, no hygiene levels needed for a hospital are maintained. Disappointed

  • Amy Lo

Miss Mother Theresa in the reception who is impatient and does not know how to treat patients. When went to the head of hospital he just kept staring at us and no action. They have mixed OPD and inpatient admission at one place. So fussed and short tempered people.
