Based on my experience, I am really surprised how this business has such a high rating (which is part of the reason why I chose to use this salon). While the staff are relatively nice to deal with, I found it difficult to communicate with the various staff members. It was even difficult to even make a booking, I called twice and then sent an email. I had a number of issues with the service I was provided, which have now been resolved. One issue was that during my waxing, I had small bits of skin on my hand removed from the wax (I was refunded for this service). I spoke to Nadia about this and she was really sympathetic. I note, they didn't offer me the refund but I had to ask for it. The second issue is that I was charged prices which were not consistent with the prices listed on their website. I chose to use their services based on the pricing listed on the website and when I paid I trusted that I was being charged the correct amount. When I spoke to Nadia about the pricing, I was a bit concerned that the prices she was quoting still didn't add up to the total I was charged. I was also told that the website pricing was no longer correct. I ended up getting back the price difference between what I was charged and the website prices (again, only because I asked for it, this wasn't offered to me). Please note that this experience only relates to the waxing services.

Excellent salon for hair styling and hair treatments. For those looking to enhance the beauty of their hair, go forward with no doubts. I have been here a couple of times for Keratin treatment and the results were amazing and lasted for a long. Recently, within short notice, Shijo did my Keratin smoothening and I am so thankful to her. Shijo is very professional and the way she handles the customers is great. l loved the haircut. Lovely staff, Nadia and Soniya make us feel comfortable and relaxed with great customer satisfaction. They use high-quality products and do things in great perfection. I am truly satisfied with the service and highly recommend it.

It’s a perfect place with a blend of all services done in excellence hence all 5 stars to Shijo’s. I have been going here for over 3 years and since my first day i have never thought of going anywhere else, Shijo and her lovely staff make you feel welcome ,comfortable and relaxed and that’s exactly what I would want in a hair and beauty salon. They always do their best to fit customers in despite of busy schedules and commitments. I have never trusted anyone with my hair before, Shijo’s haircuts , hair colour and other beauty services for me have always been what I would have in mind and I absolutely recommend this place anyday!!

A great place to do your hair and the final outcome will be amazing. The girls are all lovely and pays attention to detail and excellent service. I did keratin smoothning today and Jess and Bindu gave me detailed information about it and the after care of my hair at home. I am 100% satisfied with the service and highly recommend it. Also the lovely lady who does the pedicure and manicure service is a great fun person. They also have adequate parking spot for the customers at the rear of the salon .

Been a client since the beginning...Shijo is a brilliant hairdresser and make-up artist....has seen me through many special occasions. Sonie is wonderful dealing with my unruly eyebrows and very meticulous with waxing and threading. A now, there is Nadia who brings her many skills...massages to die for! I will be trying laser hair removal next! I'm practically there every week now! Love, love, love Shijo Hair and beauty.

I love going to Shijos. Always feel good having a hair cut there, Shijo is extremely professional and really good at what she does.. Highly recommend place for haircut, threading and other beauty services. Now they have a dedicated nail service too which is also recommended.In short an excellent option if you are looking for any beauty services. Book in recommended, as this place is always very busy, even on weekdays

I love Shijos. She has been my hair stylist for few years now, not forgetting to mention what an incredible hair stylist and beautician she is. She has magic hands, I'm sure. Every time I go to Shijos I have excellent and exceptional services with amazing and professional staff. They are really friendly and and warm. I have tried every single service there and honestly, they hit the mark every time. Even I moved from Coburg but I still drive 45 minutes to Shijos to get their service. I’m getting spoiled there What a lovely place

I initially did not give this place a good review. My haircut was not what I was expecting. 2" shorter in fact. But now that it has settled in it is the best my hair has ever looked. I thought I knew what would look good on my hair, my hairdresser knew better. Honestly, it is the best haircut I could have asked for for my wedding and I am definitely sticking to this style from now on.

I initially starting going to Shijo’s several years ago for eyebrow threading, which I found to be excellent. For the last two years, I have also been going for hair cuts and chemical hair straightening. I have been so happy with how Shijo does my hair and I highly recommend this salon to others if you want excellent service, a convenient location at a very reasonable price.

The atmosphere and service is excellent. I should say that they were really helpful in deciding what color needs to be done and impacts of it. Shijo really knows what she is doing and the way she handles customers is great. Definitely going there again even if it’s 20 mts drive for us. I will definitely recommend this place.

The girls are warm and friendly and do a great job. Can't wait to go back. I had dark auburn hair which they made light copper with a full head of foils. On my next visit I'll have more copper added so the condition of my hair retains health. My hair feels soft and silky after washing. Couldn't be happier.

Shijo did a great job on my cut and color and you can't beat the price! I walked in, she made me an appt for about an hour and a half later b/c she had a prior appt and also went over what color I was looking for. Very friendly & did a wonderful job. Perfect. I will be back before I leave here!

Excellent service and the ladies were amazing! Felt welcome and I can confirm that the reviews speak for themself. They have just changed the location from the place Google maps takes you to inside the same complex, called the salon and they guided me there! Will definitely be back soon!

Shijo is so wonderful at her job, her threading skills are amazing, she has a magic touch. She is always so lovely when I attend the salon, she is a genuinely beautiful person and you can just tell how much she loves her clients and doing what she does.
