What can I say but never ever again. I bought a pair of shoes here last week off a gorgeous older staff member. I cannot rate her more highly. I presented today as the threads had started pulling by day four on my daughters shoes, today couldn't have been more opposite. I presented to the staff member named Marina, to say that someone is in the wrong job couldn't be further from the truth. When I explained that I had bought my daughters shoes a week ago and that the threads were pulling already she told me that it was wear and tear... I simply asked after one week.... And she said well if your daughter wears them every day and shrugged her shoulders at me. I informed her she didn't wear them every day and even if she had shoes shouldn't be coming apart after a week. And shrugging her shoulders she just stated 'well' and stared at me. After questioning her again about the longevity of the item she said she would get her manager Gloria but she was with another customer. At this point I asked her for her name but she refused. She asked me what I wanted her name for and I informed her that I wanted to make a complaint about her lack of professionalism and her general rudeness. I was greeted by Gloria who was much more professional, although she and Marina bounced down the store smirking to meet me. Gloria did exchange the shoes after making contact with another team member by phone. Gloria also gave me Marina's name to which Marina protested. The general attitude is horrendous here. I have read other reviews regarding racism by staff members in this store and I now question if this had a part to play in Marinas interaction with me. I have frequented this store many times but I will never ever enter this store again. Ignorant arrogant shoe store assistants are never an attractive marketing tool.

had a horrible horrible experience today, tuesday, 14th november, afternoon... thanks to the blonde sales lady, who was extremely rude and obnoxious...dont know why and how such people get customer service jobs...wish i could she had a name tag, would have definitely reported her to management...I had my little one with me and was I continuously poked and spoken down to by the blonde lady for want of my toddler to try different shoes...well my fault that i was a customer sadly at the hands of that obnoxious lady.... she is definitely not serving me again! not that others seemed any more better, they all have this unsmiling faces on them as if they are doing a favour to public...hello sales people WE PAY FOR OUR SHOES, YOU ARE NOT GIVING FOR FREE!! SO PLEASE SMILE AND BE KIND NEXT TIME Your shoes are great shoe warehouse but your staff manners are extremely poor and unfriendly...please either choose well or train them well...very very disappointed...

The store manager was a very racist person. We were wearing scarves and had kids and were first in queue and he started to serve people behind and refused to acknowledge our presence and when the other team member came, he told her to serve someone else and she apologised to us, as she knew that he was wrong. Upon asking who the manager was, he said he was very firmly and we told him that he was rude, to his face, and he replied rudely with “I have to serve all the customers at the same time” in a very rude manner. And ignored us while giving rude response and yelled loudly starting serving as if he was in right no apology whatsoever so we left the things and left the store saying that he was racist. I am sorry but these people shouldn’t be managers. I am a store owner and treat everyone the same. Please look into it as I usually don’t write reviews unless it’s serious.

The lady that I spoke to at Essendon DFO was very helpful in assisting me to find the perfect pair of shoes for my line of work. She suggested that I try on a design in the hush puppies range that I would usually not consider. From the moment that I put them on they felt amazing! They are so comfortable that I'm actually happier and more mobile at work. Most importantly they are helping me to recover from a foot injury due to their gel infused foot bed. So I'm very grateful to this lady who provided me with great customer service and guided me to buy the most suitable shoes.

My expectations of retail are well lowered by this point. But the service received today was ridiculous. And to say it was service is a joke. Was standing at the counter, and they purposefully ignored me. Made me feel belittled, and like it was wrong to buy shoes there. The blonde crack addict looking one was rude. And spoke to me like she wanted to bash my head in for her next hit. All three staff members encountered behaved like hysterical lunatics. Kept my cool, but walked out without buying anything. Contacted their customer service line. And no reply

Very rude staff start from manger work your way down. While I was shopping for shoes for my daughter I was pushed a side so that the staff fixes the carton which it was in no body way While they were in shelves so I talked to the manger but unfortunately the manger was playing dumb and I bit she is dumb for employing rude staff like that will never spend a single cent in that store.

What an amazing experience with 2 lovely ladies ( Marina and Gloria) in this store. Their service is absolutely exceptional and the fun they have with their customers is a bonus.This was my 3rd visit and just blown away with the level of service I receive when I visit here.Keep it up ladies and keep smiling and spread love. I shopped at Shoe Warehouse, DFO, today, and found the perfect pair of shoes. Many thanks to Connie, who was absolutely amazing. She had all the time for us helping to find my size in the shoes I wanted. She was very helpful, and made our purchase a complete pleasure. Because of Connie, we will definitely shop there again.

Very attitude and rude staffs.(the blone white shade hair.) when i asked her what size is 31 in Uk ?..I'm looking for size 13Uk .she answered yes size 31 is 13 Uk . . They also very racist with Asian peoples. I noticed the way they serviced Westerner different. My last time shop here.

Amazing footwear collection for women they have so many sizes available starting from shoe size 5 which is rare to get and also have options for 5.5,6.5 and so on which was very impressive.. Will definitely come over again for My stilettos

Very rude staff not helpful and not following the company policy when it comes to returning items ... when I asked to speak to the manager they answered she is in holiday. Never shopping there any more and don't recommend to anyone

When we asked for return within 30mintue, staff lady get angry and arrogant. They don’t believe in custorme service at all. Refund policy is poor.

Staff did not come up to ask if I needed help. Went in with the intent to purchase shoes but walked out as no customer service was given.
