I could not book in a fitting for opening time at 10am, the earliest available was 10.20am. I arrived more than ten minutes early. Sign says if you have booked a fitting, take a seat and wait for your name to be called. There were three customer being fitted already. A further two customers already in the store were called up next (they were in queue, not booked fittings). Getting closer to my time, another customer was called up - but this time, someone who had arrived in-store after me. I let one of the service assistants know I had a booked fitting for 10.20, had arrived nearly ten minutes ago. He said my online booking was for 10.20 am.. Note - it was not quite 10.20am - but I explained again I had already been waiting nearly ten minutes, and they have just called up a customer who arrived in store after me. He simply walked off to serve someone else - a second person who had arrived in-store after me (in queue, not booked fitting). Then a third customer who arrived in store after me (also in queue, not booked fitting) was called up next. I left the shoe we had already chosen to try on and walked out. No stars for customer service and the process you have set up - I had to click on a star just to get this posted. (Footnote - I just received email from Shoes & Sox saying my fitting was cancelled because I had not turned up ten minutes before fitting. Kinda sums everything up)

They have a great range of children's shoes. Their prices are ok, I wouldn't say competitive though. What really lost it for me was lack of service; no acknowledgement from staff, 3 of whom walked past me whilst I was at the counter waiting to pay. After standing there for 4 minutes they finally acknowledged me (2 were busy admittedly but a smile and a hello would have been nice). However the girl who served me wasn't particularly friendly as you'd expect for customer service, and when I asked her a question regarding she was unable to answer nor offer to find out. I will be shipping elsewhere from now on.

I visited the Chadstone store on Friday to get a fitting and advice about shoes for my daughter. I found the whole experience terrible. You had to scan a QR code to get a fitting, which is ironically why I visited the store to start with. They asked for my phone number and email, obviously for data harvesting purposes and the subsequent fitting was rushed. My daughter tried on one pair of shoes, which were way too big, the sales assistant said they fit well and I knew at that point that they just wanted a sale (and some personal data), and left the shop. Extremely disappointed.

Katya (8) had the most positive experience shopping for shoes with the assistance of Jason at the Chadstone store. She can have quite particular fashion taste, along with comfort/fit intricacies, and Jason was very engaged with her from the very start. He made all the time in the world to focus on Katya, despite the store being busy. She walked out very happy, confident and relieved (as did her mother!). Thank you Jason for being a superstar. And thank you to Shoes & Sox for having a great variety of comfortable shoes to choose from!

This is a very good place to buy your kids shoes. We got our kids 1st shoes from here. They really know about how kids walk and what's bets for the age. Bit expensive, but quality foot ware. Most staff here are very knowledgeable and nice. But had this one incident where on staff was a bit rude, so we decided not to buy from them that day. Went to the shop again and never saw that person after that day. Can be a bit crowded at times, but the wait is always worth it.

I have a very bad shopping experiment today. I would say the staffs is discrimination. They are very nice and kind , giving a big big smile to the white people. But as a Asian, I am asking a female young staff to find a shoe size. She is unhappy and not willing to help me, which makes me feel I might do something wrong to her. I don’t know what happen with this store’s culture. I would never come back and recommend to anyone

It was really busy at the time I visited, however needed a fitting done and did not realise you need to add yourself to the waiting list via a QR code that was on the wall. I waited a while before realising it was a new process. The lady that served us was so patient and lovely, she was great and the service was perfect. Just needed to be told of the new process in a better way.

Jason served us today. We went as our 6 year old daughter needed a new pair of shoes for school. We had other things to do at Chadstone and were there for a while. When we finally got back to the car my daughter said 'That guy at the shoe shop was really nice!' Thanks Jason for being so friendly and helpful and making the experience so memorable for my daughter. :)

Went to by the first school shoes for my 5 year old son. Despite having the store filled with customers, the staff is super friendly and very helpful. Sarah did such an amazing job sorting out the correct shoe size and was very efficient and thorough with her knowledge. Thank you for your services and will definitely come back for more shoes in the near future.

Back to School shoe shopping can be a nightmare - but this team made it a dream. Checking in, knowing how many were in line ahead of us and the option (which I did not know of this time but will use next time ) of making an allocated appointment time - and then being looked after by trained and friendly staff - it all worked very well. thank you

Don’t get me wrong, the staff members are all nice and patient. When 3 customers hold up 3 staff members for 20 minutes and more, all other customers have to wait for a long time. The workflow model perhaps needs to change so that staff members can help other customers while those customers need their kids to try on 3,5, 6 or even more pairs.

My toddler (2yo) had a most wonderful experience with Anna from the Shoes & Sox section at Myer Chadstone. Anna was very patient, kind and helpful. She gave great advice when it came to choosing shoes with the right fit and design. We were fortunate to have Anna assist us on two separate occasions there. Would highly rate Anna's service

Unfortunately we didn't get the name of the assistant that served us however, she is a great advertisement for the store. She was pleasant, helpful and honest and extremely knowledgeable. The sales assistant had light hair and did her high school in Gippsland. Please pass on our thanks - she is a great asset to the Chadstone store.

The ability to book in advance and turn up without queuing is a life saver! I took a 5 and 3 year old today, Jason the fitting expert was funny and the experience went well. Still think the cards should be issued even with sale shoes and you need a rewards APP! So we don’t have to keep track of receipts.

New shoes for my 4yo who now tells everyone there is gel that helps him jump higher, which is what the sales manager said to him in store. He won't take them off. Very happy considering we needed to try on a couple of others, at no trouble to S&S staff, but a big win for my son. Thank you.

We didn’t like the service this time. We never had any issue. The girl who served us seemed irritated and annoyed. We went to fountain gate narre warren where we were advised to go to chadstone to get our shoes. We told her that pair is available. Not a good experience this time.

Although there was a queque it was reasonably well organised. I am unclear if everyone in the queque scanned their phone-there could have been more prompting to do so. However, once in the attendant was most helpful and friendly.

Customer service is neutral to us. The young sales lady didn’t even fit the shoes for my daughter. Didn’t even bother to ask how the fitting is or can you wiggle her toes. More like self serve to me. I prefer shopping with Knox.

Fitting service from the staff is always excellent. The QR code queuing with SMS notification is excellent. They even have a screen in the store to show you where you are in the queue.
