My daughter and I had taken my two grand children to get new shoes, my eldest grand daughter has sensory issues and we were a little nervy how this would go, the children were perfect more then I can say for the staff, the young girl that was a staff member didn’t make any eye contact and I had to ask to be served as the children sat up high on the seat, and then she begrudgingly helped, the process was painful for us, the older staff member was just as happy as the younger one, it was like they just couldn’t be bothered with us, and to top It off I spent over $200 in the shop , so you would have thought that they would be more helpful

I had my 13 month old son fitted for his first pair of shoes by a lovely lady at the Fountain Gate store. She was friendly, very engaging for my son (who sat still for her whilst his feet were measured) and really understood what I wanted. She recommended some fantastic shoes that ticked all the boxes for what we wanted. Thank you so much! My son loves his shoes and is walking well in them.

Helpful and friendly staff, 5 stars for this. However, the advertisement of "Further 20% off" posted on the glass windows is deceiving. Bought my son's favourite brand of school shoes worth $130+ expecting a 20% discount only to be told it doesn't apply to school shoes. That bit I wasn't very happy about.

Always get excellent service from the staff at FG Shoes and Socks, they’re patient with my toddler’s moods (!) and always make sure they measure carefully - so much better than the other kids shoe shop nearby. We don’t go anywhere else now because Shoes and Socks get it right every time.

Great Team. I always go for my kids shoes as he needs some attention due to feet issues. They always take care and make sure he fits into something that he likes. I am so happy with their service and support. Been using them for almost 5 years now. Each team member is great to deal with

I had to wait half an hour when I wanted a specific shoe that they didn’t have. They should have someone in there to answer any quick questions and then if a fitting is required you take a ticket and wait. It’s not like they’re an exclusive brand, it’s a bit ridiculous to be honest.

Great service provided by Kourtney. A child with unusually wide feet in tow we visited three other shoe stores in Fountain Gate who all found it just too hard. It wasn't too hard for Kourtney who went the extra steps to find a shoe that would fit correctly. Thank you Kourtney.

Had an appointment but luckily got to go in earlier. The sales assistant was helpful and had great advice. She measured my sons feet and advised us on what she recommended. We walked out with a pair of toddler runners and sandals. Money well spent and professionally fitted

Always get the kids school shoes from Shoes and Sox in Fountain Gate and with the booking tool on the website I know we will get seen when we get there. The girls are sooo helpful and make sure the kids are happy even if we need to try a few on. Highly recommend.

The one who served us seems like she is tired already but we are the first one to do shoe fitting. We felt like we cant choose any other designs for the shoes. Not that accommodating! I understand that maybe they are tired because of the xmas rush though.

Definitely recommend. My little one is just starting school so it was our first ‘real’ fitting. The shop we went to prior didn’t measure her feet, or offer shoes in different widths. I was very impressed, thank you for your amazing service!

The fitting was really good however after waiting 20 minutes to them be told to QR scan to book your fitting was a little annoying. Sign should have been front and center so that you know that is what to do when first entering the store.
