Consumer behaviour and attitude: Attitude in general friendly. There's only a few shops, optometrists, fruit and vegetable market, clothing stores, liquor store, ect. with high quality products and free parking available with unwanted or unnecessary car- guardsmen the assumption is that they'll look after your car whiles you do your shopping. Consumers are responsible to pay car -guards. Motor vehicle owner's already pay huge amounts to vehicle insurance companies yet they are bombarded with unnecessary, untrained car - guards which could be viewed as another financial burden to shoppers. Job creation: However with the high unemployment rate this could be viewed as job creation for the jobless South Africans. Job creation remains the responsibility of government as the working class pay double taxes, value added taxes on products as well as personal tax. However this burden in extremely difficult economic situation are passed on to the working class. Taking in to consideration the different income groups food prices remain relatively high for lower and middle in come groups. The poor that received social grants can simply not afford these high prices as special old age pensioners and child warfare. The primary objective of any government is to look after needs of their own citizens. Accessibility: public transport such as busses, taxicab and railway train service is within a walking distance. This makes it accessible to all people from near and far.
This place is dodgy central. The China Town sells very low quality items and lots of fake stuff. With that said, the Shoprite and Food lovers market is good but so so busy on a weekend that you might as well not go as you tend to spend a lot of time in the queues. Month end shopping here would probably take a long time. I don't frequent this place often it whenever I have been, it's been busy. Perhaps a weekday might be a better option. Watch out for the parking area and double check that your doors are locked.
End and beginning of the month its not a pleasant place to be at. Middle month is a good time to go. Secure parking, pleasant and helpful carguards. Large food lovers market with fresh fruit and veggies and a hole variety of groceries. Large Shoprite store where you can find everything you need. China town if you looking to strike a bargain. A few restaurants when you get hungry. Your one stop shop.
I often buy at Shoprite Park. However, when the shop is full, particularly on a Saturday, the service at the express counters are very slow. Already the queue is slow moving and yet the cashiers find time to chat while they're suppose to work. It seems they have to upskill themselves as well. Today was the worst. Very frustrating. Other than that, Shoprite Park is fine.
Shoprite Park houses Shoprite of course, Food lovers for all your variety of fruit and vegetables plus some groceries, foot gear, a furniture shop. Hungry Lion , Capitec Bank, and all ATM's. And then the is ......China Town well here the is everything clothing, Jewellery, party deco shops, herbal teas, toys shops, hand bag shop, shops that supply appliances...... Etc.
This is not your one stop Mall or your convenient shopping centre.A bit sad because you can't do your end of month one stop shop .You have to go to another mall to The shops is very limited here.It covers your basic needs like shopping for groceries .No multiple banks or convenient clothing stores. This place is definitely not on my priority list.
Depressing place today... No customers there... Chinatown empty.. We didn't find what we were looking for... Popped in at Foodlovers and that was even more dissapointing... Lots of overripe fruit and veg, rotten stuff was standing in the alleyways, very dark, very smelly.... All in all not a pleasant experience today...
A spacious ShopRite in it's splendour to buy all you need. Also at thepark a freshly stocked Fruit and Veg Market and much more in store. An OK furniture store. A Lewis furniture store. Have your hair done at "Jean Paul" unisex hair salon. Suit Hire, Bruto's butcher and so much more.. A one stop shopping Park... Enjoy
Decent prices on there products on offer not too expensive at all!, great variety of products on offer!they always have good specials available. The only downside is some of the staff members are quite unfriendly/rude but only sometimes other wise great place for a quick poppin shop or your weekly/monthly groceries
Another Chinatown after being in this type of business forever the owners must consider having staff that can help you properly, understand your needs and learn themselves to communicate in more sentences other than mono syllables such as "yes, no, and especially thank you"which they know very well …
One of the best ShopRite I have seen around western cape. It is very clean and tidy. Food is fresh as well. You'll always find someone to assist. Worth to mention that this is the first shop that I saw disable person working. I was quite impressed. Not something you see and value everywhere
Guten Tag... Ian and Chesray. The basic principles and the pillars of retail management & customer service was effortlessly displayed today at this large store. Well done. Staff at work and busy on the floor tending to merchandising and assisting customers. Vielen Dank.
Place isn't very big but I can tell u whatever u lookin for u wil always find it by Shoprite park becoz most Shoprite wil be sold out but not that 1 coz it happened to me I was looking for a doll for my daughter all was sold out only that Shoprite had it in stock....
Big and busy describes this large shopping mall, especially over Saturdays. Despite a huge parking area, you might find it difficult to get parking. The mall cater for every need but is not the most friendly place to navigate if you are not familiar with its layout.
Few enough shops with affordable pricings. Shoprite, China shops I like especially for kids toys, some are quality like Lego's, so have to be selective with those etc, Fruit n Veg in there, spice shops,ATM's, Salon, shoes shops, a furniture shop, etc
Maybe its just me but I will not go to this place again anytime soon... its just so full and noisy, other than that I really cant complain... its not my scene and I don't think ill go there to shopping but all and all its okayish! Lots of shops...
Thumps up for the Car gaurd. I forgot my back window open. Did not even notice. The alarm went of and I was doing shopping with no ruch. When I got to the car, he was standing there. Everything was still in place. Thank you Sir.
people i was here a few times but i felt very unsafe i dont know why is there any person who can calm me is it safe here do they steal cars here or not im honestly scared to leave my car allone here
So many products are sold here at very reasonable prices. It has ample parking space. Security has improved. All major banks have their ATMs on the premises. It opens early and closes late.
SAP. totally inefficient. I actually saw 2 police officers sitting on the benches, chatting. Not paying attention to surroundings. Security chatting for 35min on cell ph.
Very convenient with a Shoprite Superstore and Medirite. The Foodlovers lines move quickly, nice and clean stores. Only downside, the dodgy characters hanging around.
Went here looking to find pap here since was from the North then realised that this is Cape town and pap is not part of their everyday food. But the place is good
Chinese shops are stuffed with one and the same products...not much of variaty. But they are sort of convinient stores - 1stop shops for small items/ gadgets etc.
Huge Fruit & Vegetable selection and a Big Shoprite available. The rest of the building is china shops. Good collaboration and options available.
I shop here when I was young with my parents. Place when alot of renovation. Capitec Bank also inside store with other atm by China town
Surprised at their excellent prices especially pork ribs. Cheese still more expensive than pnp. Clean outlay and cheerful staff
There is a big China Town there and a Food lovers market where you can get fresh fruit and vegetables. Also secure parking.
Spacious parking available everything under one roof, ATM's. Situated on the main road to Cape Town to Somerset West.
I really enjoyed my first visit in this park. Indeed it was great fun to me. Its neat, quiet and indeed safe.
Always a pleasure stopping by Juicy's. A must visit for testing flavors, getting advice on new gear and parts
Great place for your groceries, has everything you might possibly need at an affordable price too.
Very convenient, safe and the boerewors roll and juice for R20 at Food Lover's market are great.
Very large store! Various shops in the complex.China town situated on the premises.
It's full nice but to be honest no decent food places where u can eat
Great product variety and selections. Meets all my grocery needs.
We always collect my husband's meds at Medirite.
Centre is a bit dirty. Floors need a good clean
