I would have loved to leave Sign & Drive Motors a great review. Unfortunately, Sam provided great service right up until the car (2005 Honda CRV) was sold and delivered. I am sure Sam is great guy, but if you make commitments for service after the sale and you do not honor them and then ignore phone calls, your word is not worth very much. Taking advantage of a 22-year old female college student by misrepresenting the condition of the vehicle is riding the fringes of fraud. People rely on salespeople for good information. Of course, the buyer must always beware, but when you are without a vehicle and out of time, you have to place your trust somewhere. In this case, the battery died within two weeks and two tires that were supposed to be almost new suffered tread separation within one month of buying the vehicle. It turns out that one of the failed tires was not even the exact same size as the other three, though not visibly obvious. Sam promised to make things right if anything was found wrong with the car that was not apparent at the purchase. Thankfully, the tread separation did not cause an accident or this review would be taking place in court. To any potential customers of Sign & Drive Motors on Phillips Highway in Jacksonville, Florida, DO NOT trust Sam for his word! If you want service after the sale, make sure it is in writing and then be prepared to take more of your personal time attempting to get follow-up service. If you want a car sales staff that you want to trust, it will probably save you a lot of time to just look elsewhere. It is just not worth the worry.

The owner seemed to be very friendly and helpful but turned out to be a complete disappointment. I bought a Nissan Altima for about $6,000 from here last year September and by the end of October my transmission went out . The owner promised to fix my vehicle if I bought a new transmission. At that time I couldn’t afford a transmission so tax time this year March (after car sits for 6 months) I then called him to explain on why it took so long also inform him of the purchase of the new transmission & had it shipped to his shop. For one he didn’t even call me when the transmission made it to his shop I had to call and he then said he had it. he then told me that he was too busy now to fix it with all the busy carbuyers. (I was no longer important), my fiancé then spoke with him a few days later he said in 2 weeks he would do it still no call or anything. Well it’s sad to say I had to get my mom to come take me to get my transmission from his shop today. Thanks for nothing Sam. Never thought you would’ve been so cold and uncaring. Never again. I guess it’s true never go to a car lot with money as a young female alone (you will get played) don’t worry I’ll get my car fix without your help. , I do believe there is a lemon law you have broken I will be giving my attorney a call. One star is to many. THIS CAR LOT IS A SCAM!!! They sell cars that have been totaled and cosmetically fixed!!!!! I purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox in March 2020. I had several issues with the vehicle with in the 1st few days after buying. I took it to the car lot and was told they didn't find anything wrong. I later tried to trade in this vehicle with another car lot and was told this CHEVROLET EQUINOX had no value because it was TOTALED out in 2018. I was given a copy of the car fax and sure enough the vehicle had been totaled out in August 2018. I called the finance company and was told to contact SIGN AND DRIVE. I called and the man I spoke with was so rude. He told me my mind is to incompetent to understand that he had applied for a clear title. This car lot is a SCAM !!!! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH SIGN AND DRIVE.

This guy promised me a car fax report when I drove an hour to get there. The car is a 2000 Acura TL with 60,000 miles. Listed on the website as one owner. He would not provide me with a car fax report and showed me a screenshot of some other type of report that was not up date. He told me it was local owned by an old lady who barely drove it. I pulled up the actual car fax report which reported 3 previous owners not local, and an odometer reading of over 150,000 miles. When I approached him he feigned ignorance. I walked away. Do not trust these people, I was lied to from the minute I contacted him. If this is how he treats a Navy Chief in uniform, you better believe he will rip anyone off. He had the actual car fax, wouldn't show it to me, and I caught him in his lie

After purchasing a car from Sign and Drive Motors of Jacksonville we are still attempting to recover $321.00 which is the amount we were over charged by Sign and Drive when we were charged for a new licence plate. Florida Department of Motor Vehicles let us know we could transfer our current license to the new vehicle and the fee would only be $79 and that the dealership should return the $321.00 over charge. It has been over 2 months now and 5 calls to the dealership to which they have agreed to mail us a check at one point even promising over night mail. 2 months later and still no check. The next step has to be the state attorney general and a private attorney. I would highly recommend you avoid this unethical and amoral dealship at all cost.

This guy lied to me over the phone or else didn't bother to look up the car. Called to ask about a red 2013 Corolla that is currently advertised on Craigslist. Asked him if it had been in any accidents, how many owners it had. He quickly replied that it had one owner, no accidents. Told him I would come in to look at tomorrow. Sure enough I double check to see if the listing was also on CarGurus. It was, the car in fact has been in 3 accidents with frame damage reported. Lots of 5 star reviews by users with only 1 review ever raises an eyebrow as well.

I was looking for a truck to use occasionally for errands, hauling, landscaping, etc. I looked at a truck at Sign & Drive. I was met by Nina and took it for a drive. Liked the truck and bought it. I found a crack in the windshield and Sam gave me credit for it and arranged for a replacement. The glass guys came within 2 days and replaced it at a very reasonable cost. These people are honest, nice, and can do everything electronically. You can leave with your registration, tag, and paperwork without any hassles. I highly recommend Sign & Drive Motors.

I guess in these hard times decency and decorum eludes some people. I advised my son to go to Carvana, but being young and anxious. He chose a dealerships, as always, this place was one big huge scab. Be very careful, this dealership slipped paper work in leaving my son with a 17,000.00 bill to pay on a car worth no more than 4,000.00. He will not answer the phone and blocked me from his social media accounts. Now, unfortunately they will never get their money, and this blemish will more than likely, be on his credit report.

I came to test drive a car I saw online and it was not as described. It had a cracked windshield, dents everywhere, and missing pieces throughout the car. Online it was shown in perfect condition. They also lied about how many miles were on the car. They tried to say 10,000 miles but that’s not possible with the state of the car. Do not trust these people, possible odometer tampering and they lie on their ads. Super ghetto place. The owners must be making fake reviews on here because it’s HORRIBLE!!!

Don’t buy from sign and drive. I bought a 2013 Chrysler 200 and within the first few months had engine issues. I’ve been in and out of shops and they’ve told me that the engine was bad every single time. I only had a one month engine warranty through sign and drive, and my car acted up after. A little over a year later my engine is completely shot and there’s nothing i can do. Now i’m without a car and Sam sells junk cars. Don’t buy here! Spend your money where it’s worth. I learned the hard way.

His Vehicle's show no promise in running well they look very bad far as advertising......he lies about financing.....vehicles work for little to no time at all...I wouldn't recommend....horrible service and attitude........employees are rude and nasty.......doesn't give accurate information on cars..... Sam was wonderful in helping me purchase a Charger for my son. He was honest, straightforward, and told me everything up front! Financing was a breeze!! It was really refreshing to be able to do everything before going to sign the paperwork. I only had to spend 15 minutes at the office! Basically just signed and drove!!!! My mom attempted to buy a car from here. When we looked under the hood it had duct tape holding a part together. They told her when the new part came in they would put it on. She was driving the car home and all of a sudden it slowed down and wouldn't go over 15 mph in the middle of San Jose Blvd. The tow truck driver picked up the car left us stranded. We go back about 2 hours later they say it's fixed. We leave it does it again. She got her money back.

They sell wrecked cars that they fix in a chop shop then after they finance you with Nicholas financial say no they are a total scam they will take your money and after the 4 yr of your loan they sell the loan and still owe the same amount of the $ you owed at the beginning don't get scammed don't buy here or you will loose your investment been warned don't sign don't drive stay away from this place wrecked cars and bogus financial company

Bought my truck from Sign and Drive today. The place is not big by any means, but that does not mean that the vehicles that they sell are bad. One thing that stands out is that majority of their vehicles are with low mileage, which means less issues and more reliable car for the money paid. They do financing and no pushy sales or BS whatsoever! Family owned and operated. I will buy from them again for sure!!Thank You Sam at D&SM!

It’s been 3 months since I bought my car and it still runs great. Sam and his wife helped me get the car I always wanted. A 2015 charger FHP Edition with the hemi.
