Had a poor recent experience with the Chadstone Skechers store. I've been a long time customer of many years and have always been there whenever a large sale is happening. Just last week, there was a sale for a shoe that i was intending to buy as a gift for a relative back overseas, I loved the shoe and ordered multiple of the same pair but different sizes. The store did not have a 6.5 size at the time, and offered to order it online and have it sent to my house, and I gratefully accepted. The orderred shoe was put on a separate receipt and a different shop assistant Sofie was tasked to take care of that separate transaction, however, she had ordered an entirely different shoe that had the same sale price. I had not noticed at the time of payment as the shoes often have long names and the most memorable thing about a shoe is the colour and style, which can easily be differentiated in shop where you can physically see the shoe itself. I waited a few days and the shoe had arrived, however to my disappointment the shoe i was asking to order wasn't the shoe i received. I checked the receipt again and saw that the shoe that they had ordered was an entirely different line and didn't look as good as the one i wanted. I went back to the store hoping to return the wrong shoe and have them send in the shoe i had asked to be ordered. However, after talking to the manager about the problem, she refused to send the shoe and said what they could only do is refund the shoe they ordered wrongly, and have me pay the full price which is $60 more than the sale price as it is no longer the sale period. Is it my fault that they ordered the wrong shoe and sent it to me? I had paid in advance on that day during the sale period, what i want is not the refund, but the shoe i should've received if it weren't for the mistakes made by the employee. I am upset that this happened and i am unable to recommend this store's services to my coworkers and relatives anymore, it was not my fault for what happened, so why do i have to go and reorder that shoe again at full price when i should have received that exact shoe during the sale period at a discounted price? This is unacceptable.

These reviews are not about the Chadstone store but Skechers as a company and such poor customer service. I bought a pair of shoes and the laces did not last 3 months. I registered the complaint online a few times and all I received is an auto-reply with their website address. I tried to ring the Customer service number and finally after several attempts they asked me to take them to the nearest store. I went to Chadstone in the hope of getting the new laces as they are quite specific and I couldn't find them anywhere else either. I was told by the store Manager that they don't stock laces. After some discussions Manager agreed to help me. She emailed the customer service in my presence and promised me that someone from Customer service will call me back and so far it has been more than 2 weeks and no one has called me back. Since, I needed another pair, I had to spent another $170 to purchase one more pair which is a total waste of money. I have promised myself I am not buying another Skechers ever again.

Terrible management of Chadstone Sketchers store. I went in a few days ago to get a refund on an online purchase, and was told this could not be done as the 2 staff members there were not allowed to issue refunds (even though they knew how to). The Policy for Sketchers online purchases states that you can go into any store within 30 days for a full refund. However, what good is this if there is no one there that can do it for you?! Completely useless. The staff member even called the store manager Niamh to try to get clearance to process the refund for me but she was completely unhelpful and refused. If Sketchers Policy is that you can get a refund at any of their stores, then they should have someone who can process Refunds at any given time. I wasted 30 minutes in the store and now am stuck with shoes I don't want. They even refused to extend my return date even though it was their fault that they couldn't give me a refund on the day I went in.

I will give zero or negative stars if I can. The worst customer experience ever. Can't believe in this customer-oriented economy, such business can still survive. Cannot serve customers properly with inefficient and ineffective business processes. Don't listen to customer's feedback. Being very rude to customers (from multiple employees - so it must be the business culture). Blaming customers for everything (what happens to customers are always right?!). Having tried to escalate the issues to management, no response, don't care. It literally ticked every single box for bad customer experience. Would never return.

Worth customer service ever. Will not go there again. The guys offered his help. Asked him for a size he asked someone else to go and look for it. He then advises that they didn't have the right size at the shop but can can have a look at the store room. He asked us to come back in 20 min. I asked if the store can call us, as my wife is pragnent and we didn't want to walk all they way back if they didn't have the size. He sad NO can't call you, come back in 20. How ridiculous is that... Lost sale and customer. Owners look who you hiring and train them.

Very disappointed exchange experience in here .I bought a pair of safety boots online in my size 35，and I wearing only for one day , the boots are way too big for me, my feet were even injured by the big boots! Because the size is not the standard shoes size! Then I went to the shop wanted to exchange for the other one which I bought before and fits me well, but they refused me because their exchange policy said that the shoes must have box, taged, and unworn could be exchange or refund, but nothing about quality issue, which is unreasonable !

Very helpful and friendly staff. I loved the experience in this store. Service was 10/10, really appreciate the work of staff , but why there is so much hate in the reviews . Visited it at peak time but I haven't had to wait at all. it was really quick, approx took 12 minutes to buy pair of work shoes and sox. I appreciate the staff working behind in busy hours. Definately recommended to have visit, they have many options and designs. To Chadstone Skechers, I'll gonna visit very soon to buy more for my partner Thank you to staff.

The manager on the queen’s birthday complains that the store is too busy, pays no attention to customer and accuses customers for being rude when simple questions like “have you got this size? “ was asked. Been coming here long time to buy shoes here and the service was absolutely wonderful but now will never come again here after the way my family was treated. The cleaning guy could have done a better job than the incompetent idiot who calls himself the manager there!

I use sketchers since past 4 years never had this disappointing experience came to change my shoe they said it can't be change....very rude behaviour by the staff. ..I wanted to change the shoe coz it was hurting my toe....I just wore for 2 hr...and they said you can't change it after wearing and they said like you have to test shoes by wearing in store...how can I know for just using it for a minute... Disappointed by the service from this store

Wanted to buy a pair of white skechers, after been given the item requested, sales assisted proceded with other duties. I waited for her a few minutes, she didn’t come back to check if they were good ( which they weren’t) I took them off, only then the asked me if they were ok, I said they were a bit too loose, she didn’t offer another size or product. I was prepared to pay for the right fit. she list herself a sale! Not going back again.

Staff were very nice and the shoes were pretty but the first pair I bought had loose threads on day one and had to be replaced. The second pair did last me about a year but today I noticed a huge rip along the stitching. It was fine a few days ago. Ive never seen a rip this big show up in a pair of sneakers out of nowhere. Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise because my feet and ankles feel weak and absolutely horrendous.

Terrible customer service. No one was interested in serving me for my child. Finally a bloke measured my daughter's foot, brought out two different sizes for her to try and then disappeared to they other end of the store. He was watching us out of the corner of his eye, as were the two sales ladies standing a metre away, but no one came back to help so we abandoned the mess and left. Will never ever return.

I went to the store at around 4pm today and ask the salesman to get me a pair of sneakers. Wait for 15’ without answer, and I have to come to chase him up when I see him serve another customer and was advised the size is not in stock. This is a terrible customer service experience and the manager should take this guy out and teach him a lesson about customer service. Never come back to this store.

Won't step there again. Went there with my two year old. So unwelcomed by the two women who's not trying to sell anything. Either you should stop selling kids' shoes or give the job to someone who can do. First when I saw being ignored, thought it was a mistake. Second I saw it I knew it was deliberate. Third time I saw it straight out of the shop. Never again.

Love how comfortable their shoes fit. The staff went above and beyond with getting the shoes my partner wanted in his size, even going off to the other store and sending us a text when they had them a few minutes later, so we could continue our shopping instead of waiting in the store. Really amazing client commitment and friendly staff.

Absolutely horrendous service. Average doesn’t even do it justice. I had to request for sizes, remove and prep the shoes from the box for my mum to try them on. Because there was minimal to no assistance, I had to try on almost 10 pairs in various sizes. There was only 1 other customer at the time so there’s no excuse.

Enter the store—>and try to ask for a help and the girl will straight away with a rude face says “sorry i am already helping someone else”. I could have waited if the same thing was said in a friendly and nice way as I wasn’t rushing to her for a help. It was just that i saw her standing next to me. —>exit

I had an amazing experience today. I went to return/ swap my daughters faulty shoes but unfortunately didn’t have the receipts. Jenny the manager was so kind to find the billing details using my bank transaction details and accepted to swap for a new one which will be delivered to our address.

I was looking for a pair of flatsz nothing then I saw another I liked asked if they had the size and the gentleman went out the back and for 5 min after waiting didn't bother to come back to me. Don't display products you don't even have ample stock of!. I'll never go there again.

The two young done up ladies took turns to ignore serving me as I was in blatant sight. Upon asking to be served twice, one of them finally proposed to check for size and then shamelessly went ahead to talk a new customer. Love the shoes. The customer service was trash.

Worst customer service and management. I asked one of the staff to find a size and she denied it because she was so tired. She said, “It takes 10 minutes to find the size from the back. Do you still want it?”. I do not know how we can buy shoes without trying them on.

Was there on 3rd July to look for something that's comfortable for my feet the staffs were wonderful, Gemma and Jenny was awesome, super helpful, they're young but their customer service skills can put many to shame. I really appreciated their help.

Shopped here 31/10/2022 evening. The Asian girl at the entrance screening customers was friendly. The Caucasian lady that was helping customers getting shoes were friendly, too. The other Caucasian lady at the cash register does not know

Lots of nice shoes, comfortable. Depends what you're looking for. I wanted a black shoe which I can wear five days a week 8hrs a day. So I got what I wanted for $99 perfect and happy with my shopping …

The worst customer service I ever discovered. If you want punishment for a huge amount of your own money - go to skechers. If you want good shoes and stuff solicitous about you - go somewhere else.

Music was so loud I left with a headache and there were no prices listed on the shoes I was looking at and even if I wanted to talk to a staff member there was no way I I'd be able to hear them

Not a problem with the products. But there is a problem with an employee named Sasha. If she there then, do not buy anything. She messes up the order and she will give you some others reciept.

The staff at this store are very helpful no matter how busy they are. It’s very hard for me to find the perfect size and the staff here have been patient and helpful at each visit.
