Horrible experience at this store. Don't waste your time and money here. The staff was incompetent and unprofessional. My wife went into the store to try to find a more comfortable pair of shoes to walk around the city as we were tourists and the shoes she brought were too uncomfortable. Any question she asked the staff they would not answer, or give her a vague uninterested answer to just move on. No other customer was in the room other than her, so it's not like they were too busy. The salesmanship was terrible too. She would ask simple questions about prices, deals etc and neither of them would answer her. We were there on 8/31/19 around 3 or 4 o'clock in case the owner sees this. Your staff needs to be corrected as they're potentially making you lose hundreds in business, as we would have definitely bought a pair of shoes if they would have shown the slightest interest on making a sale.

I popped into Sneaker Politics with some friends on a recent trip to Austin after swimming at Barton Springs. We stopped to get coffee around the corner and the store caught our eye. The interior is super cool with all the wood trim, the perpendicular overhead lighting, the neon sign over the plant wall, and all the window light from the front. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the counter guy helped my friend get a pair of shoes since her AF1's were busted. We were surprised that they had such a big selection of shoes for being a compact downtown store. I'll probably pop in here next time I'm in Austin since I always go to Cafe Medici right around the corner which has the best coffee in Austin in my opinion. It's cool to see Austin's downtown continue to get better with stores like this.

Been seeing a lot of reviews about how this store won't last, but there's a reason they've been around for 13 years. I've been buying shoes from sneaker politics online for years, and this shop is just such a great addition to Austin. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and they're the only store around that gets all of the "hyped" releases. Everything they do for the releases is extremely fair, as I've seen too many shops backdoor pairs to their friends. This shop will always remain my go-to store.

Fabulous in all ways! They had a great perfectly curated selection of the dopest kicks. I found some AF1s and the new Air Max. I had been looking for the perfect pair of AF1s for a long time even online and couldn’t find anything. I walk into Sneaker Politics and they have the best AF1s for me! They have a really good range of sizes that don’t exclude ladies looking for dope kicks too. They also had some sick hats and tshirts. This place is a must shop for any sneakerhead in your crew. I just keep going back!

Fantastic staff! Extremely Helpful. I've traveled the world to many sneaker boutiques and These guys really know there stuff! With a lot of BS sneaker boutiques out there it's hard to find a true sneaker store that takes pride in cleanliness and customer service. Highly recommended to anyone in the Austin's area that wants to get top quality designer products with a piece of mind of knowing you were taken care of. Highly impressed, just waiting patiently to go back to visit one of Austin's hidden Gems.

I think the staff at sneaker politics is the best sneaker staff I’ve ever encountered. Knowledge surpasses all expectations. They run fair an unbiased raffles for the more coveted releases. Been a couple times I’ve purchased items and needed to ship them for family memebers and they gladly did it with no hassle. Harley is amazing and deserves a raise. Winston is extremely helpful and is always willing to help. Amazing crew !!!!!

Excellent customer service! I've shopped Politics now in Lafayette, New Orleans and Austin and each time I'm so excited about the awesome variety of shoes they have! Great styles and almost always have my small size! The guys in the shop here were very friendly and happy to help get my size shipped to me since it wasnt in the store. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some unique sneakers!

Stopped in on Tues just to check it out and it was a really nice shop. The guys working said they had just finished redoing all of the shelving the night before and the new look is awesome. Me and my wife both got some new kicks while we were there. They had a good selection of price ranges, the Adidas I got were only $80 and of course they had some much higher end sneakers as well.

Went to austin recently to visit barton springs and hang, stopped in for a fresh pair of sneaks. They had a wide range of great, high-end sneakers to pick from. Staff is really helpful and respectful. Im always wary about sneaker stores geared towards guys, but i felt really comfortable shopping here. Will def be back again.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Most sneaker shops are really laid back and a good atmosphere. I came in to see if they had a pair of bred 4's in stock the guy brushed me off and went over to ask the next person what they needed DUDE DIDN'T EVEN OFFER TO HELP WITH ANYTHING ELSE!! hope that guy gets checked and put into his place.

I will never buy shoes anywhere else ever again! Politics and their staff have shown me kindness and informed about shoes in a way I didn’t think was possible. Spent about 5 minutes in the store. No one tried to help me or even greeted me or my girlfriend. There was a group of people just sitting in the middle im not sure who worked there but they were talking very loudly in profanities to the other people. Very unpleasant experience will not be returning.

Staff is super knowledgeable, super helpful and very nice. Hype releases are handled fairly and shake back is super engaging, and better than any other releases I've been too. Donations to charity every few months keep the community in mind. Overall a place I absolutely love to support.

The guy told me they we’re out of a pair of sneakers and when the next guy got in line he told him they were in stock and sold them to him, if you ever want to buy anything there you got to be dressed up because they Judge you and treat you differently if you don’t look wealthy

This shoe store is a JOKE!! Got no help or even greeted when I came in. Im a sneaker head and was really disappointed with the selection. I can get a better selection at Payless or Shoe Carnival. Don’t waste your time paying to park to go there! Only good thing was the music.

Awesome kicks store! Good deals and super helpful people here. Needed buying a fee pairs especially with the Black Friday deal! Prices were super reasonable and had some that couldn't find anywhere else. Seriously only store I saw in Austin downtown that had these.

Very dope sneaker spot here in Austin. The aesthetics of the shop and culture is very pleasing when you walk in. It was my first time going here and Joe & Lee were awesome host. Probably found my 2nd home here and a lifetime customer now that I know they are here.

Really cool sneaker shop in downtown Austin. I was in Austin for work and had some free time so decided to go walk around downtown. Found this place & loved the selection of rare shoes - Jordan's, Nike's, the works. Very nice staff as well.

My favorite place. Staff is super nice, knowledgeable , and fun. I’m AUSTIN, this guy with the red beard was off and still went way out of his way to help me & the music slaps. Shop dogs and a very big inside plant! Love this place!
