Let’s talk about having plain customer decency. I purchased a pair of Birks as a gift for my partner. Due to covid and a variety of personal issues he wasn’t able to wear them and or physically exchange them. We came back to the store to do an exchange. Instead of friendly service, we were hit with “ we have been open for 3 months”, “we don’t have your size”, “we are doing you a favor, we don’t have to help you out at all” Obviously this staff was having a bad day or rather we were targets of being type cast as someone looking to get land a quick deal or scheming the system. I was easily in a position to buy more or even pay to swap my partner into the style he was looking for. Plainly, utterly the poorest of customer service and like I said plain decency to your fellow patron. I mentioned to both “gals behind the counter” both with quick rehearsed responses could have “apologized” I asked for them to be simply “nicer” and the whole experience was just sour. Go somewhere else for shoes you have options. Find merchants who look a bit further than these two at this store. Also to be clear I/we were more than willing to work with whatever options that were available, be it a different style, paying more, or simply finding another option. But you do not insist on correcting and talking down to a customer. Attitude is everything.

Finally, great customer service to match a great product! I bought a pair of black EVA Birkenstock’s recently as friends had recommended these. Best buy ever - so comfortable, light and durable. Made an inquiry online prior to purchasing and received an informative response instantly. My experience was friendly and communicative and this was followed by prompt delivery. Would recommend this store to anyone that appreciates great service, a seemingly rare thing these days. Thanks again Soul 2 Sole!

I needed a pair of comfortable sneakers and went to Sole Shoes. Their selection of good quality shoes is impressive. The service was outstanding. I was helped by Raija, who is not only the most friendly and helpful shop assistant, but it turned out she also speaks perfect German. She helped me with great knowledge to find a pair of white Birkenstock leather shoes. I will come back to Sole Shoes for more purchases and hope to get Raija's wonderful service again.

My podiatrist told me to have a look at this store to get some comfortable sandles. I was pleasantly suprised at their wide variety of shoes and sandals they have in stock. Sandy was very patient, didn't rush me, gave me alot of advice, knowledgeable and friendly. I have recommended this store to all my friends who want comfortable shoes. Definitely going back for winter boots.
