I am so disappointed, so much that I don't see myself returning. The new location is such a step down from the previous location. It felt like I was visiting some hole in the wall massage place. The entrance is an awkward long sidewalk along the driveway entrance inside the parking deck. You can get your parking validated for 2 hours, but beyond that you have to pay. I hate that the steam room is co-ed and outside of the changing room. The prices have risen significantly. The price for a 60 minute massage seems to be what a 90 minute massage used to cost. Considering this cost plus how far I drive, I might as well find a spa closer to me and get 2 massages for the same total expense. The massage by Indigo was pretty good. I was actually relaxing nicely until the fire alarm went off. Evidently this is not the first time this has happened. Needless to say, I was no longer relaxed. The annoying alarm and flashing strobe lights left me with a headache which further undid any good from my visit. What a wasted day and a waste of money. My trips to Spa Sydell used to be such a special treat and wonderful experience. I always looked forward to spoiling myself with a couple services and making a day of it. I don't know if all this change is from the new owners or post Covid.

If this review was just for my massage it would have been 5 stars. However I also got a facial which was disappointing. Massage - 5 stars. My massage therapist was Nicole. She was excellent. She tailored my deep tissue massage to my needs but also added what she thought would be helpful. She asked if I was comfortable and if the things that she suggested would be ok with me. It was really perfect. Facial-2 stars. For the facial, apparently the estheticians are taught to upsell as that happened to both myself and my friend. My friend got add-ons. I did not. Because I didn’t come this petition had to fill the time with massages. However, she was not a massage therapist apparently because the massages were not enjoyable. At least half of my facial was filled with hand your neck shoulder arm and foot massages. It was a complete waste. In addition, the techniques of the facial were rough and not at all relaxing. She didn’t tell me what was happening next or ask whether or not I was comfortable. It was very robotic and she wasn’t really prepared so between treatments there was a lot of drawer slamming. Not relaxing and no change in my skin.

First time checking out this spa, as it is right next to the building I live in. Arrived at 8:35 am for an 8:45 am 60 min massage. The woman who checked me in was frazzled - couldn’t get the iPad to work, and ultimately, not the type of personality you want at the front desk for a relaxing spa treatment. Nothing zen about that. After waiting 30 mins (masseuse had car troubles so he was late), I finally was led into the room and the massage began (yes - at 9:15 am). The only reason this place gets more than 1 star is because the massage was actually very good. When I checked out, I realized I only received a 45 min massage. When I went to receptionist, the same woman who checked me in told me the total price (with no discount). I then told her that I only received 45 min of treatment, to which she then offered me a 15% discount (I would have thought at a minimum, if I only received 75% of treatment, then wouldn’t that equal 25% discount?). Not to mention the fact I had to wait 30 mins to start my appointment. Bottom line - massage is good. Operations are pitiful. I will not be going back.

My daughter and I just had the worst facials ever She is 11 and we went for her birthday. The lady she had totally took advantage of her young age and left the room 3 times for more than 10 min each time! She she squeezed two bumps on her face making her skin red and looking bad for the 1st time ever. Both of our facials started late and ended early, and there was barely any massaging or use of product. The lady I had was rough and the arm and chest massage was just awkward, not like a massage. Much of the time in the room she was not doing anything and my daughter had the same experience. The lady that I had recommended dermaplanning for $65 more which ended up being her putting baby powder on my face and then taking it off my chin and cheeks with a razor and telling me to “look at all the stuff she got out of my skin”. I have gotten many facials and I know what a good facial is. This place was just bad, bad, bad. $300 for this terrible experience on her birthday.

I just came in for my first massage at Spa Sydell and I will DEFINITELY be back! In general, I loved the look and feel of the spa. It’s very quiet and peaceful, and the lights are all reasonably dim throughout. I had Anthony for my deep tissue massage and I would highly recommend him for anyone else. I could tell that he really listened to my concerns/area of focus and wasn’t just going through the motions. He catered to the needs of each side instead of doing identical motions. The hour felt complete and didn’t leave me feeling like I should’ve booked for longer (though I probably will in the future). For what I experienced, the price was more than fair, and I am excited to try some different services next time!

I used to work for Spa Sydell as Front Desk for a year before the pandemic happened and I’ve always loved everyone on staff…but today I had my first massage experience with my mom as a belated Mother’s Day gift. Carol and Wil were incredible and went beyond our expectations. They made us very comfortable and explained to us the process before laying on the table. I had Wil for a CBD Massage and all of my aches and pains are gone. I’m not slouching as much, and I feel taller! My mom had the Hot Stone Massage and halfway in she goes “I think I died and went to heaven” haha Thank you Carol and Wil! We will definitely be back to visit

Hi friends, I have been coming to Spa Sydell for 5+ years. Unfortunately this experience has declined over the time. I usually do not post reviews but I would love to support local Spa services and have the Spa Sydell board reconsider about what they are doing. The last time I popped by to have Sydell facial there were multiple services added to my appointment without myself being asked for, also in the end of the service there was a moisturizer that was added to my bill without me asking or it. Once again for the longest time Spa Sydell was my go to place but at the moment I am focused on supporting the studios around me :)

They have horrible customer service. I booked a 1:45 pm appt at the Alpharetta (new location). While enroute I received a text that my appt was then changed to 3:00 pm when I called yo explain that was gonna mess up up plans as we had a dinner booked for 3:30pm and this wasnt gonna worked. They were very rude and told me take it or leave it that they could do very well without my kinda business (guess because I am black). They charged me $100 and the manager Morgan never cared to follow up with me and my husband.

I saw Melissa for micro needling treatment and it was fantastic, I will continue to see Melissaa for all my skin treatments. She is the best and has made my skin look so glowy and healthy! My skin has never looked better. I highly recommend to see Melissa and any of the staff at Spa Sydell in Buckhead. They go above and beyond to listen to your needs/concerns and always answer any questions you have. The facility is very clean and relaxing. I could not have chosen a better place to go.

I booked a microblading with Jordan and she is amazing! First, the spa was clean and modern. The ladies were very welcoming, and I was comfortable throughout my whole service. Jordan took such time and patience with my brows, ensuring that they were perfect. They turned out so beautiful .If you are looking somewhere in the Atlanta for brow services this is the spot. She also includes a 4-6 week touchup after the initial appointment so I will be back soon!

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE HERE!!!! I had a deep tissue massage and Sydell Facial, both ladies were amazing. Lauren gave me a great 1st facial ever and was helpful when suggesting products to use for my breakout. And the masseuse, Felicia, was absolutely fabulous, best massage I've ever had!!!! I'll definitely be going back. My only suggestion would be to have the option for scents in the rooms to aid in relaxation, like lavender, eucalyptus, vanilla, or mint scents.

Ambience is utterly refreshing So serene & clean which is very important while creating a relaxing memorable spa experience! The staff here is the BEST! Although valet is no more it is still the BEST spa in Atlanta periodt! Marc is Extrodinary w/the hands Everytime I leave here I feel like a brand new lady! So appreciative for keeping things as is at the spa for us whom need to run away from home sometimes but still feel the love & welcome.

In February, I had an appointment and decided to start back with monthly appointments as I had done many years ago. To date, two of my appointments March and June have been canceled… one being a birthday gift. I get it that things happen; however, twice in 6 months is unreasonable. I’m a mother to younger kids. Making arrangements for my kids and planning self-care days that end up canceled by Spa Sydell is quite disappointing.

Atlanta Location. Peachtree ... My Therapist Mrs Felicia was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.. her hands are Blessed from God.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED . CBD oil treatment for the 1st , well worth it... I will be requesting Felicia by name on my next " Me time" experience.. Front Desk team was over the top amazing.. all smiles from beginning to end.. they validate Parking.. bring your ticket inside and ask.. come early to enjoy Steam Room.

I had an amazing visit at this location and an amazing hydra facial. I saw Lauren and cannot recommend her highly enough! She is professional while making you feel completely at ease and very knowledgeable. I am in my early 30s and had lots of questions about preventative skin care and treatments and she was able to answer and make recommendations for future visits as well. I will definitely be back!

Julie and the Spa Sydell team are absolutely amazing! We scheduled 30 services for an organization who supports educators battling breast cancer. The team accommodated all of our needs, were flexible, and even had pink roses for all of the ladies! My heart is full and we are forever thankful to the Spa Sydell Buckhead team for helping us give back to a group of ladies who give so much to others!

STEPHANIE took such time and patience with my skin, ensuring that I get my glow - which I did, and my skin glowed for weeks. To keep my glow going, STEPHANIE knows her products too! She showed me what products would work best for my skin and I am amazed at how well they worked. I will be back soon!

This was an awesome visit. Dr. K and the front desk staff is be far hands down super professional and courteous. My consultation was very thorough as he took his time explaining all options and procedures while answering my detailed questions. He provided his own feedback and suggestion without being overly pushy. The front desk was kind and helpful. Great team assembled. We will be back!

I had a hydra facial this past Saturday. Stephanie took awesome care of me!! I'm claustrophobic and the last time I had a hydra facial, I couldn't handle the light over my face part at the end. This time Stephanie suggested eye patches versus the swim goggles and I was able to handle the light. I'm SO thankful she was so patient with me! My face has never looked so good!

Whitney is the best of the best! From filler to Botox and all of the other services she provides, I have never had a better experience or felt more beautiful. Whitney is so thorough, puts so much effort into each client and is so knowledgeable on every service she provides. I will never let anyone else do my Botox and Filler and the spa is beautiful! 5/5 stars!

I enjoy my massages every time I come. They take great care of their clients. Today, I had Sir Lawrence, and he was very good. He got all of the problem areas that I told him I was having discomfort with. If was one of the best massages I have ever had. Girst its tucked away lol. I haven't been here in years. Always so clean and greeting staff is okay but the massage therapist are very accommodating and welcoming. I had Antjony my sister had Kelly. Both were A1 and Kelly was super customer service friendly.

I went for a facial and added on the pumpkin enzyme treatment. I was seen almost immediately, and everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. The facial was incredible and my skin looked amazing for weeks after! Definitely will be going back.

Both Felicia (massage) and Sun (facials) are amazing. I especially love the peaceful relaxation area at this location, the men's gym room for clean-up/showering, and especially the steam room. I will be a repeat customer.

Dr. Adam is an amazing physician! She takes time to listen to your aesthetic goals and works meticulously to address all concerns! She did my Botox for me and is hands down one of the best injectors I have ever been to!
