On my first evening in London, Angelo and Ashwini welcomed me with open arms, warm hospitality and delightful cocktails at The Stables Bar. This was the first solo trip I've ever taken and I knew I wanted to explore somewhere truly unique to London even if I was on my own. I had so much fun chatting with the bartenders and fellow patrons that I never felt an ounce of jetlag nor loneliness. The drinks were fresh and flavorful - some of the best I had on the entire trip. For fellow young adult, solo travelers looking for sociable and well-versed bartenders to craft your favorite drink and offer a local's perspective, look no further than Stables Bar. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to London!

What an incredible experience! Our waiter Angelo was an absolute star. He kept us entertained with good conversation and plenty of laughs whilst serving us delicious, expertly crafted cocktails. Thank you so much to the staff at the Stables Bar and also The Milestone (who welcomed us with open arms and a smile, despite being very underdressed and coming in off the street soaking wet from the rain - they even dried my coat whilst we drank in the bar.) A charming bar in a historic boutique hotel across the street from Hyde Park. Fresh ingredients and innovative recipes set the stage, but the real star is the staff at the bar: the perfect level of attentiveness without being overly fussy. I was also impressed with the knowledge everyone had about wine and cocktails; and the willingness to share. This is the perfect place to pop in for a drink or two before dinner or after a show. If you like good drinks in a cozy environment made and delivered by nice and interesting people, you’re looking for The Stables Bar at The Milestone Hotel.

We stumbled upon this bar purely by accidentally accident. It has a speakeasy vibe to it with a very different cocktail list. The drinks are not common, yet incredibly balanced! Service is second to none, attentive and friendly. It's small enough to feel cosy, yet bug enough to have a vibe. Strongly recommend and Antonia is a delight!

Exceptional service and drinks selection. I’m not a cocktail person but I tried the “Gallop to Greatness” (great if you like spiced rum) and it was divine. The bar itself is beautiful and cosy - the theme is equestrian, for those who are fans of horses. Thanks to the bar manager, Angelo, for looking after us. PS. Just don’t ask him to unpeel a cucumber.

Possibly one of the sweetest experiences I’ve had in London. The decor is exquisite - total equine chic immersion. But it’s the divine Angelo and Aswini that take it to the next level.. From the warm welcome, to designing bespoke cocktails, to taking us to forage for ingredients in the bar’s herb garden, it was very very special. It’s the most delicious experience imaginable - can’t recommend highly enough.

Excellent experience. It was one of the best nights ever. The cocktails Angelo made were second to none while Antonia’s and Victoria’s service was one of the best ever received even in a 5 star hotel! I will never forget this night and the tasty and inspirational cocktails ! Stables bar offered an excellent experience with a very welcoming staff ! I stayed at the chesterfield, and they were so kind and warm that the next night I went to the other hotel's bar, stables bar. Angelo is incredibly likeable. Antonia is a charm and my favorite is Victoria. My time in London was undoubtedly one of the best trips of my life, partly thanks to them ♥️ If you want to have the best cocktails in London and be in the best company, go see them.

The best cocktail bar in London. The bartender Angelo is an absolute legend and extremely accommodating, the host with most. We ordered two old fashioned and then asked us what our favorite spirits and flavours were and made two surprise drinks that were delicious. He is also entertained us with some very impressive cocktail acrobatics. Cant wait to go back again.

We owe the two lovely bartenders this long-overdue review. Me and my sister had an amazing time last month at the Stables. We were transported into another period, the decor was timeless, cosy and warm. The bartenders were attentive and knowledgeable. The drinks were delicious, just faultless! Came for drink pre dinner. Has a very gentleman's club feel inside this hotel bar. Very small inside but has a lovely bright and modern conservatory extension, so a of choice of atmosphere. Staff were very professional, and the service was fabulous, bringing continual complimentary bar snacks.

One of my favorite bars in London! Tucked away in a hotel off a busy street, this bar is one that should not be missed. Delicious, handcrafted cocktails made by talented bartenders, and lovely customer service provided by Aswini, who was an absolute delight and pleasure to get to know during our multiple visits while in London! Will definitely be back!

A genuinely exceptional old fashioned with impeccable service and perfect presentation. The decor is beautiful and gives a great cosy feel. The emblem on the ice was a great, small touch that made a difference. Very much recommended as a relaxing place for a drink.

Angelo and Lillo are the most welcoming bartenders I’ve ever encountered. All of the drinks were awesome and recommendations were on point. The atmosphere of that bar makes you feel like you travel back in time. Definitely one of the best bars I’ve ever visited.

Classy hidden gem in Kensington, with a rather equestrian theme. Part of The Milestone hotel. A number of horse-y inspired collectables, charming furnishings and killer cocktails including the rum-based Hildago. Claire our server was very pleasant and welcoming.

It is by far the best experience I’ve had in a Bar in Europe. I went with a cousin and his wife. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the drinks are just what we needed and the service was superb. I will just become a regular there. Fantastic!
