Cheap rates, but no working change machine. I went here for the first time because my normal laundromat was too packed. So not only did I have to walk further with a bunch of clothes, when I got there I couldn't get quarters which made this whole experience a bigger hassle than it needed to be. The machines were decently clean, and prices were good. The atmosphere although was not... several children were running around wreaking havoc in this very small laundromat. It made the whole experience that much worse. I couldn't find a single worker at this laundromat to ask about the change machine. I had to leave my partner there to go track down a lot of quarters, and that wasn't easy. There was also only two rolling cart basket things for transferring laundry from the washer to the dryer and so forth, and the people thier claimed them and made sure no one else could use them even when they weren't using them at the time. Overall it was a horrible experience, but maybe it would have been a good laundromat if the change machine was working, and if it wasn't being used as a playground.

Bad service this place, and three times does not work different machines, there are video cameras here in spite of that, when I call on the phone the man says if my wife is going to pay her she goes to the laundry and when it comes she gets bitter upset with me He does not want to give me the money back because the machine did not return, he speaks more the Chinese language and I do not understand him, he speaks a little English, then at the last he returns the money makes me feel bad because I am telling him the truth that is why they have several video cameras so that Watch and see what I am saying. very careful my people in the laundry.

Everything you need. Clean place great working equipment and a huge folding table. Rolling laundry baskets are available as well. It's a coin machine on site too, which is a plus. Dryer works great reasonably priced. Washer could be a lil bigger bc they're all the same size. About 1 full laundry basket worth of clothing that you could fit in one washer. I never liked packing my wash bc I think the clothes wouldn't be cleaned fully but that's just me It also could be about 0.50 cheaper as well. Pizza shops and corner store is available as well for a quick snack. Felt super safe in the area. People in the area were pleasant in passing.

Update: the manager arrived within 30 minutes of my call and opened up the defective machine! All is well. I've been coming to Stanley's for months and never had a problem until today. One of the large washers ate $3.00 of my money. The sign on the wall days to fill out a refund card and "leave as directed" though there are no cards to be found anywhere. I called the number listed on Google and left a message. I hope someone reaches out to me to resolve this. I will change my review if/when this is resolved.

If the machines work the price is good and reasonable. After I put my laundry in and used my last detergent the machine wouldn’t work so I had to use a larger one since half the machines were broke and the rest occupied. After calling they did not want to refund me cause they said it must be working and I should try again. Later the lady came and was very rude, gave me parts of the cash but not for the more expensive wash and also the detergent. She was really rude and just walked away.

If you're still there at 8:30 pm, you will get yelled at by the owner to get out, because it closes at 9:00. If you mention that the machine you used is broken (about 25% of the machine get no water so they run dry -- the clothes don't get washed at all) the owner will mysteriously no longer understand English. Expect to pay multiple times for one wash, have to come back multiple times to try other machines, and get yelled at if you come in the evening.

Convenient laundromat in North Beach. Machines are easy to operate. However, sometimes homeless folks come by and have a drink here especially during the cold winter days. They do a picnic sort of thing. Nobody says anything, afraid perhaps to get into a fight. Other than that, it's a fairly good place to do your laundry here.

Live up on Kearny st, the laundromat is convenient for me. One wash cost $3.50, the dryer costs .25 for the first 5 mins and .25 after that for every 4 minutes. Plenty of washers and dryers, haven’t had to wait yet. One of the change machines is broken though. More than just a standard washer also.

As of today, there is a change machine and supply machine. The change machine accepted my $10 bill with no issue. The supply machine dispenses tide powder soap and dryer sheets. The washers are $4.00 - $8.50, depending on load size and the dryers are $0.25 per 9 mins. This place is great!

My main laundromat. Machines not always working correctly though. I had an instance few years ago where I put a $20 bill in coin machine and it only gave me $4 in quarters. I called up the owner and was reimbursed by that evening. Honest business. Nice people.

This place used to be the best but then about a month ago they raised the price of each washer by $1.00 and at the same time reduced the amount of water each washer uses. Can't wash clothes without enough water. Disappointment.

Been coming here for years. Apparently, the management has completely given up on maintaining the machines or attending to problems as a result of their indifference. Very poor customer service.

Be aware! the machines do not get enough water and the clothes come out dirty and with heavy detergent stains and smell. Some coin laundries turn down the water to save money.

It's a little hard to get my whole body into the washer machine but if I stretch before I can usually fit

Machine short changed my dollar. DON'T USE THESE MACHINES. THE METER OUT FRONT ATE MY COINS TOO.
