I asked the supervisor of the print section to help me print a passport photo for my new born who’s not in the country. She said no. I told her I don’t need her to stamp it. Just help me print. She said no. Help me cut. She said no. I told my daughter ain’t here it’s important. She callously still said no. I said I’m not asking for free service. I’ll pay. She still said no. So I said ok. Which printer can I use to print photos - she said the printer was not working. So if the printer isn’t working shouldnt you use the employee served printers to print?!! To make sure customers are satisfied!!! Shouldn’t you be providing solutions? And she’s the supervisor?! Wish I got her name. Anyways I said I’ll cut it myself. I asked what was the dimension. She said I’d have to google it myself. At that point I just knew she was just an evil spirit not willing to provide customer service. I know your hands are tied. You don’t have to print or cut. But to give the measurement and you say I should go google it?! This is wild! I had left my phone at home so could not google it. Which in turn means I have to pay for the internet to just google simple measurement she could have given me. Thankfully another employee was more than nice to give me the measurement and showed me how to cut it. To top the cake - another employee was literally printing a passport photo for another customer. I wanted to scream. But eh that service from a disgruntled 0 customer service employee. How she became a supervisor. Beats me. This is on you staples. It’s one thing to follow policy which I can’t knock an employee for following it. But to not give measurements is wild! And to have another employee literally print the another customer a passport photo with no questions asked. Beats me. All good though.

If I could do a ZERO star I would. Had the WORSE experience. I've been purchasing my boxes from Staples for 7 years now. I placed an order on Nov 24 and it showed that I would receive them on Nov 27. Well that day passed so on Nov 28 I reached out. Well, no phones, no chat, no email working. Finally on Nov 29 I was able to email at least asking where is my order it was not delivered. To shorten this story. Emails back and forth as they kept saying "it was delivered". Really, why would I be sending in requests daily asking where my $60 order of boxes was if I had them.....The last email I got was Dec 05 stating "driver says he delivered them at NOON on Nov 27". NO HE DID NOT. We both work from home and nobody came. We even offered to send our camera feed for the day to prove this to them. Now, there are 2 of the same address's in Edmonton so told them perhaps he delivered to NW rather than SW. But I need these boxes. FINALLY, Chat was up and running again on Dec 5. After chatting with them, we need to investigate further. WOW, you've been doing this for 8 days now. Called in and talked to a manager. Things just got worse. He argued with both of us for over 2 hours. It finally came to us having to dispute with our credit card and offer up the video to prove we DID NOT get this order. Why would I lie??? I too own a company and would never ever ever treat any customer the way this manager did yesterday. He should LOSE his job. I truly hope that head office reads this and reaches out to make this right.

I stopped by here early on a Monday afternoon to make some copies, already having a copy card with an unknown credit on it, I assumed it would be quick and easy. I was surprised to see a huge line up of people at the copy counter with only 2 staff to serve them. I proceed to the copier to make some double sided copies. I only had enough left on the card to make 2.5 double sided copies, but the machine didn't account for that as I had asked for 3. My personal info got stuck in the machine due due to insufficient payment. I reloaded my card at the cashier, where there were 3 cashiers waiting for customers, and went back to the copier. I began to inspect the copier and managed to retrieve my document by trial and error. Customers came and went from the copiers around me, swearing and moving to new copiers as some were out of service. (paper jam, lack of toner) The croud grew at the understaffed copy counter. Ten double sided black and white copies cost me $3.20, and took me 30 minutes with no help. The copier was happy to print me a receipt on the same computer paper for free. I decided to check out the electronics section before I left. A salesperson quickly approached me and tried to sell me some things I didn't need. I could have used their help in the copier department. Although the staff I spoke to were kind and helpful, I couldn't get any help where I needed it, and it's my opinion they need to re-manage their employee allocation.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had at their print centre. Paid close to $30 to have a small project printed for my son. It was printed and laminated fine. I came in to cut the pages myself and then asked to have it bound. The woman that handled my service was rude and short with me. Told me it would be another hour just to punch the holes and bind it, then charged me $9 for a coil for half a page… and another $3 service fee. Fine. I paid it. Came back in an hour and lo and behold, it wasn’t done. Another woman assisted me and said, don’t worry it will only take 5 minutes. Interesting how one person said it would take an hour and another said 5 minutes. My project comes back and it’s literally been butchered. The hole punches are fine but the coil looks awful. Nothing is aligned. Thanks for the lousy experience and wasting my time and money. Do not recommend this print centre.

Printing at Walmart is cheaper and way better. So frustrating!!! Worst customer service at the print station. To print photos from my phone they told me to go to the kiosk and to follow the instructions, so I did. It kept going back to the main page so I had to ask for help. They told me to keep trying over and over again until it works. This was annoying but the worst part was the customer service at the printing section. Even if you waited patiently at the counter, the lady preferred to avoid acknowledging that I even existed and was happily chatting to the staff that was right infront of me. They wouldn't make eye contact with me and seemed annoyed when I tried to get their attention. No one was helpful, friendly, or even tried to think of a way to help me print my photos, even when I asked. The service here is garbage. Will never return or use their online store ever again

I went to the one in South Edmonton common. And they had the most incredible people in the computer department. I can't tell you I've always had good experience with Staples. It is hit-or-miss, but in that store all the staff were very attentive and very helpful. Actually really knew their product. I'm very pro local business, but they try really hard for big box. It's tough to get good staff these days. I wanted to point out this llocation. They didn't make me feel incompetent because I needed some technical help. So I would recommend going to this place if you need some technical support or want to compare features to functionality or price.

Awful service. Ordered business cards and something went wrong with their system and it cancelled the order. I didn't get a refund and they refused to do anything to ensure that I could get the order or have it done quickly. Kept giving me the line that I cancelled it, even though I did not and it must have been a glitch on their end. Offered no solutions for the issue their system caused and were completely unhelpful. Hopefully, I get the refund soon and will not be using their services again. There are so many better ones who don't charge as much and have better customer service.

Went in to have a bunch of documents scanned. Had to use one of the computer terminals. Chose the $5 option and time ran out on me. There was no option to extend the time and my $5 went to waste and into the store's coffers as my scanned documents went into oblivion. Staff didn't acknowledge my frustrations and just blamed me for not choosing a higher dollar amount at the start. This has been my go-to location for printing and scanning and will now look for alternatives because of a system that's rigged to take your money without results and subpar service.

Not impressed at all with their service went to the store to pickup my order. I asked a lady to help me with an online order she was super rude to me and i came to know she is one of the manager. Then she asked someone to bring my order and he brought me the broken box of shredder had my name on it. I informed at the same time this is not my order i order luggage. They said they can not do anything because this is staple. Ca order not in store i have to go on live chat and ask for supplementary product. Guess what i went on the live chat getting no help.

I have to say I've rarely experienced this level of service. Carol who was the manager on duty went above and beyond to help me resolve an issue with a printer I purchase. She went to extraordinary lengths to help me and at a really challenging time. It is amazing how excellent customer service can literally make people feel better about shopping. So good to know there are people who don't just care about their work but care about the people who shop there. Thank YOU Carol and your manager who allowed you to implement your above and beyond solution!

I needed a briefcase style purse to sling over my shoulder, and I found it. A young associate helped me decide by giving great advice. I just went over there while I was waiting to be picked up by taxi at Lazy Boy furniture. I was so happy to see. Staples right across from Lazy Boy at South Edmonton Common. Kudos Staples. Went looking for a charger for my Lenovo laptop, since they sell that laptop. Thought would be simple but nope I was told someone else would help me but this guy who was supposed to just handed me a box without looking at it said this would work, I had to go to desk open it myself since he wouldn`t help me. Yep even though he said it would work I tried it and it wouldn`t. Staples hire some people who are interested in your customers and that is why I gave you a 1 star if I could I would have given you -10

Visited on Sept 1 evening. Horrible experience, staff guided us wrongly and then when went to cashier, some other customer skipped line and cashier didn't give any heed to it. When I explained, he shamelessly replied that I was looking at screen and it's not my mistake. Very ride and poor customer service! Cashier (Anmol) need some customer service training! Will think before visiting this store again! One star for their collections of goods/supplies!

I want to personally Thank the manager Moe for honoring their word and extended warranty we purchased earlier this year. . I explained what happened at the other Staples ( read my other review lol) , but he quickly and smoothly gave back a gift certificate, which, in turn, I purchased the same headphones, a necessity for the online learning programs for our children. Once again, Staples should value their vital employees as Moe.

Went in to grab some packing materials. When I get to front of check out lane and go to pay, i'm approached by wireless trying to sell me a new plan or phone. Worst part is some of the packing supplies didn't have a barcode and I'm asked to step aside while they help other customers and get the barcodes needed. Trying to sell people phones when they are trying to leave the store and go is definitely not a good idea.

We had exceptional service in the print department from the associate Nisha at this location. We experienced some copy issues at the photocopier we were using independently. Nisha came to our rescue. She made excellent suggestions and recommendations that still fit our budget and made the finished product exceed our expectations! Thank you Nisha!

You are better off buying laptops else where. I bought 2 laptops from staples and right after the 14 days. The laptop starting making a fry noise in the keyboard and a few days after. It just down and never came back on. They seems to have a lot of old laptops in storage that they are selling.

I was I. This location few minutes ago and the team so good and Abdulla , a young gentleman around 20 years old helped me a lot even it was not his area but he went extra mile to help me and I ended buying 3 items for $179.07 and left happy. Great Job Abdullah and way to go . Well done

Associates mislead you on warranties, will tell you that you only get a sale price if you get the warranty then try to tell you the warranty is one time payments instead of monthly. Manager refuses to discuss issues with customers.

Quick stop for all the office supplies. To go place for a print out. Usually one of the printer has some issue but they got plenty of printers. Staff is helpful. They do offer lamination services and passport photograph.

This is a very well run store. The people are very helpful and curtious. Price range from top end to great deals and great sales. You can get in and out in a hurry and leave with a smile on your face!
