Paid $400 for full interior clean. These were the photos after getting my car back. After complaining, I took my car again, and on that day, I had to come back twice again to tell them that it still wasn’t good enough. A total of 3 times. On top of all of this, I find out that the passenger side window had stopped working. I took it to a repair shop for them to tell me it was water damaged. I sent star car Wash an email requesting that I would be reimbursed, but I would front the bill. I still have not received any response so I’m assuming that they don’t care or won’t be paying for the $250 bill that it cost me to get the switch fixed. In my initial complaint, I did warn that if it wasn’t fixed, I would submit a bad review so here it is. I would not recommend this car wash place to anyone. Avoid at all cost.

Car was left in a dreadfully state upon return. Dust and streaks all over it it. Windows all still dirty from dirty sponges/rags. Had the car for 3 hours then upon return tried to remedy situation by using a rag to clean it off..making it worse. Rather than apologising and offering some sort of compensation, they simply said $70 or no key back. Highway robbery for such a bad service. Gave them the benefit of the doubt after same thing happened last time and asking them to take better care this time.... Won't be going a 3rd. Update...the company advised its customers to check their car before leaving, I did! That's why I was so annoyed and tried to get the issue fixed then and there.....but you can't fix it with a rag and squeeze bottle in 5 minutes!

Took my car to get the platinum wash. Washed and vaccumed. I paid extra to have the doors wiped down also. I even went as far as to show the attendant I needed a specific spot cleaned- wax that had dripped onto the centre console. $75. They told me 2- 2.5 hour wait. Doors were not wiped down and no attention to detail what so ever. The car is new so pretty clean to begin with. Car was left in the wash bay so i had to walk over the wet ground to get to the car with my 5 y.o. it was dark undercover so I couldn't see the quality of the job properly. Had to leave my trolley of shopping in the car park to drive my car out and then wheel the trolley to the car to pack the boot. Here are photos after the clean.

Just paid $85 for a clean inside and out on my car that really wasn’t too bad to start with so expected it to be an easy clean and looking like new. Had to point out areas where they had missed and then to have the windows smeared and dirty water marks dripping down inside is not what I would expect for this service. When I pointed out that the sunroof glass had not even been touched he said it was because it was closed (I’m assuming he meant the inside cover) which it was not! When I said I was disappointed and would not come back he offered to clean it where I was unhappy but I declined as I had an appointment. He instantly turned his back on me and walked away. Terrible. Started with them charging me $100 for an inside outside wash because according to them I said ‘yes’ to polish (which I did not) Only to give in - get to the car and it’s the worst job ever. They hadn’t wipes at all in cup holders - didn’t even pull the one in the back seat down. They also didn’t even wipe the door electronics near windows buttons etc. dust all over the dash. I’m interested to know what they DID wipe. They sent someone over to ‘fix’ and I still there telling him what had not been done. Massive areas of crumbs etc. he couldn’t have cared less and was obviously irritated I’d asked him to clean it again.

The worst car wash ever! They damaged my brand new week old car and tried denying it. The manager said he has footage showing it wasn’t them however the footage clearly showed the car had no scratches upon entry of the car wash. The interior leather was also filled with spray droplets from whatever products they’ve used. They are aloof and ignorant when we showed them the damage they have caused and refused a refund or rectify anything. I paid $165 for them to completely ruin my car. I should’ve known they were dodgy when they said they only accept cash payments. Do not take your car there to be washed unless you want it damaged.

Once upon a time these guys were great. Now not so. If you drive a German vehicle expect to pay more instantly. I asked for a platinum wash $55. The attendant told me that it would cost $90 and would take 90min. When asked why he showed me to the soiled classification poster. I asked how are you classifying my car? He said medium incurs a $10 surcharge (mind you my car is dusty at best no 4wd dirt or soiled animal hair as depicted in their poster) I said so why $90 it should be $65. He than said oh but your rims are dirty. No your just overcharging and trying to take advantage. Needless to say I took my keys and left.

After leaving my car for 3 hours and returning to find several spots untouched by a sponge, he refused to clean it as I only payed for a standard wash. Understanding that, a standard wash is still a wash as I explained to him. Several sections of the car had not seen a single sponge. Explaining to the manager as I was there, still rudely refused therefore had to clean the several sections of the car myself. Wouldn’t trust these blokes to wash a glass. $55 later and feel like I’ve been completely ripped off. Wouldn’t recommend these blokes to anyone. Disgraceful work ethic & customer service attitude. Stay clear.

Illegal business practices. The owner has ZERO regard for the Australian consumer law. After they pressure washed the rubber seals off of my elderly grandfather's back windscreen, they refused to provide a refund. We took the car back in, as they offered to fix the issue. Despite taking it back, they had failed to wipe the windows and still hadn't vacuumed under the floor mats. They claim that they "looked for the missing piece" of the car which they damaged - and admitted to damaging it - but still will not return a single cent of the $100 we paid. Consumers beware. This business is taking advantage.

Asked for a platinum wash for my wagon, the board says 60 wash, vacuum, and wheel washed, the manager try up the up the price and tried to say the all prices are from however their sign board dos not say that at all for the platinum wash and told the manager their is nothing to say this on the board for this service he agreed to do it for the price stated than after failing to scam me out more money and told me I had to wait 4 hours! No wonder they have poor ratings and will not never go there again and word of mouth about this type of behaviour is worse than any review!

customer service was okay however i will not be going back and don’t recommend anyone going. I paid for the platinum wash for SUV. came back and the inner windows and windscreen weren’t cleaned, the doors still had rubbish in them and grass and dirt still on the backseat floors. i told the guy and he happily cleaned the windows. not good enough when you’re paying to do a job that has specific things in the clean and it should be done. don’t recommend going here. Better to go to a place that actually knows how to clean a car and has attention to detail.

Just paid $170 to predominately have the inside cleaned properly and the two front carpets dry cleaned. The back of the car clearly hasn’t been vacuumed properly so I guess I’ll do it myself what a joke for $170 in my opinion the inside should sparkle. This is not the first time they have done a half pie job on my car I simply decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because the wonderful car was in Watsonia could not fit me in regarding what I needed done before we go to Queensland this weekend I’m really annoyed Never again

My mother attended this morning to have the OUTSIDE of her sedan washed only, she was not quoted the prices as shown from the website (express wash is $30 listed on their website) she was told the only option is $70, when she questioned this expensive price she was told some bird poo would take extra time. When the car was finished it looked done in a hurry and not overly clean. She asked to speak to the manager and was told he was on holidays. This car wash is ripping off the elderly and beware the fake 5 star reviews on google.

As someone who normally cleans his own car and takes pride in it to then take it to a "professional detailing shop" due to life getting in the way and getting the car back like it was just a rush job was very disappointing to say the least. $130 for a minor detail and having to point out an obvious missed spot then continually seeing spots they missed or clearly didn't vacuum is poor service! How is a car supposed to of been 'polished' is the dirt hasn't even been cleaned off. Definitely would not recommend or go back

Sick of giving these guys chances! Took my car one time and they missed so many things, did a terrible job. Drive past another time and they were empty so I enquired, they said it was a once off, so I gave them a second chance, and they did a good job second time around. Thought it was a once off. Took my girl friends car a week later and we’re back to it again, car isn’t vacuumed on the inside, $55 for a small hatch back and once again didn’t do what we paid for! Not only wasting peoples money, but our time!!!

Poor management, first they sent a message saying my car was complete only to find that when I walked from the other side of the shopping centre that they had only just begun. They asked me to return in around 15mins which I did, they told me it was ready but after opening the door to find they hadn’t vacuumed my seats at all, they hadn’t wiped the doors down at all and left mud on my accelerator pedal. Not happy for $80 they spent 15 minutes and did a very poor job!!

Horrendous service at Star Car Wash Greensborough Plaza. Despite an advertised price of $40 on the printed signage, the attendant advised me that there would be an additional $45 surcharge for this service, totalling $85 to have my car cleaned with a basic wash.  This is obviously extremely misleading and while I appreciate that there may be occasions when a 10-20% surcharge is warranted, this is more than a 110% surcharge on the advertised price.  Buyer beware!

$325 for a car wash, detail and interior clean. To be honest at that price the customer should be walking away saying WOW, those guys are amazing.... my experience was meh. The boot wasn't even done and I needed to tell them. Its now been over 6 hours and the inside of my car is still wet from the clean.... The money I paid was not worth the effort they put in to the service. I won't go back. And ill make sure all my mates and work colleagues don't either.

Not happy with the Platinum wash which costed me $65! Platinum wash includes interior cleaning and washing the car. When I picked up the car I noticed that there were lots of uncleaned spots in the car. I showed them and they vacuumed the car again. However, I didn’t ’ check inside the dashboard and console! They hadn’t even touched those areas! Not a single wipe! The side mirrors were not cleaned either! I am so disappointed and won’t come back!

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! BUYERS BEWARE! Cost me $300 (Mind you one of the employees told me to only bring cash!) to get everything done and I could have done a better job myself for 3/4 of the price! They left my floor mats wet in the boot and an employee told me 'You can put them back in yourself". I WILL NEVER RETURN and blame myself for being scammed in to paying valued money. Don't do what I did folks!

We approached for a car wash on Sunday around mid day and was told due to our car being big and taking up too much time it wouldn't be ready for 5 hours. Fair enough. When we questioned why the wait was so long when they had not many cars there we were essentially told that they could do more small cars in that time netting them more profit. Ie. Not really interested in my car. Sorry but I will not be back.

Prices advertised are hugely misleading. Staff member glanced at our car, saw a baby car seat and immediately asked for $90 for a basic vacuum and wash. Final result was average, floors and seats were vacuumed on the surface but they didn’t bother with the crevices or underneath the car seat. Dash wasn’t wiped. Wheels were rinsed but still dirty. I wouldn’t bother again for that price.

Asked to wash the outside of my car. They did a terrible job and when I asked for assistance they said the car was too dirty. They didn’t have the correct car polish I asked them to clean up the dirt streaks on the side of the car and they stated it was dirty so it dried that way. Very unimpressed $75 for this! Have to wash this myself when I get home. Will never go there again.

The worse car wash I have ever experience. Do not waste your time or you money. $80.00. Crumbs still in the car. Outside not washed properly. Dirt around wheel arches. Went back to have th clean it better. We only do these if it’s a details. $120.00. OMG. what a joke. From now on I’m going to buy some car washing detergent and do it myself. I can get a slab and some for $80.00.

If you have a child safety seat DO NOT use this company. They must have loosened the restraint to clean around the seat but did not feed the belt back THROUGH the car seat, it was placed BEHIND the seat. We discovered this as we drove on a winding road and the base of my sons car seat slid to one side. Thankfully we didn’t find out from being in an accident. Very VERY angry.

After paying $ 85 for a car wash my car was still dirty, when I brought it to the attention of the staff they were not very helpful and feed me loads of rubbish as long as they didn’t have to do what was right by me ( the customer) !! Had my car cleaned here twice recently (star polish and platinum wash options). Hard to tell in the dark carpark when you collect the car, but when outside it's been an average clean on both times - on a new car so not too hard to clean and make look great. Convenient location but expensive (be prepared for an hard upsell) for unfortunately not the greatest results.

Absolutely disgusting job. It states $55 for a wash & interior vacuum and wipe down. I paid $60 for interior only. I specifically asked for them to roll the seats back and vacuum the creases. Requested a BASIC car wash. Wash asked if they wanted to polish inside car I said yes Clean the inside listed as $95 on board. Told me it was $115. Ok so prices have gone up recently. On my return was charged $150. In what universe is a Basic clean $150. He said I had a lot of jello on my car. Really?. Will definitely never use this car wash service again.

Tried to give the person feedback today about the wash on my vehicle and pointed what was still dirty. This staff member didn’t like it and told me I should have paid more and would have got a better wash. I normally wash my own vehicle but was short on time. Lesson learnt - leave the car dirty instead of throwing money at incompetent businesses.

I paid $120 for an interior and exterior polish plus clean , I spotted minor missed spots when I picked the vehicle, they fixed it up. I came back home and realised that the console was not even touched and dirty. I went back and was told this comes under minor detailing. Never had such a bad experience in melbourne.

Paid $100 for a sedan wash/polish etc. with really poor results. The car came back with the side windows and wind-screen still smeared in places, and the corner joiner on the back windscreen missing. Unprofessional disinterested staff were no help when I tried to resolve these issues. Avoid these people .

Star car wash greensborough washed my my vehicle today. Car looks great thanks. There was still dirt on mud guards and they were happy to clean. As most clients l would like to mention its the small details that are noticed. So please take a little time to check all is cleaned. Thanks again.

Another excellent car wash/polish by Star Car Wash in Greensborough today. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and they always have my car looking perfectly clean, inside and out. They are always on time and there is a quick and easy online booking system. Highly recommended.

Arrived today to get my Subaru xv cleaned. He quoted double the advertised price. When I asked why, he said 'it's dirty'!!! Imagine a car coming to get washed and it's dirty!! There was no mud or anything else; just dust from my dirt road. He then just walked off.

WORST CAR WASH !!! We got a car that no one's drove for 6 month so it was very dirty and had spider webs- we toke it to get clean and this is how it came back the same !! some areas still had dust,and spider website and stains still there. Absolutely discussing!!

For the price, the attention to detail on cleaning needs to be better than the BP auto car wash. The guys are nice, trust worthy, happy to fix what they have missed. No fuss, just wished I didn't need to check.

I arrived at Greensborough Plaza Star Wash at 4.10 pm and I could see there was only one car done washing and rest all spots empty still I was told that they can’t do my small car as they are done for the day.

As far as the review previously on here, there are holes in the vacuum heads for a reason, it helps with the suction.
