PSA: Avoid starwash Kellyville plaza at all costs. Went in this morning to get my he Ute washed. Decided I'll go for the premium $65 wash as I felt that my car deserved the extra attention, that's where I was wrong. Upon arrival I mentioned that I needed my car done within an hour so they charged me an additional $5 to put the in front of the queue of cars waiting. Rather than vacuuming the seats the workers have just skimmed over the seats and just used armor all on a cloth to make it look clean. When I asked the worker to come have a look he says to me he's cleaned it and I point out that he hasn't, he's just looking at me like I'm an idiot. I don't even want to begin with the exterior, there was still dead insects on my front bar, missed parts of my car. Being a 4wd they didn't even clean the wheel arches, I rubbed my fingers over it and collected so much brake dust and dirt. I'm extremely disappointed because I came in expecting an average wash, but then I decided I'll pay for their most expensive wash, to top it off the additional charge of $5 to put me in front of the queue which will obviously be labelled as "heavily soiled" when my car was just dirty from the rain. I ended up with a result that was beyond unsatisfactory with the manager of the establishment talking to me like I'm an idiot and trying to convince me that it's clean. I've lost all faith from starwash and will not return again.

Firstly, they wanted an extra $10 to clean a few bugs off the front of our SUV, and then tried to up-sell me a "full detail". I reluctantly agreed to the former, but refused the latter as I'm sure that I could do a better job myself. When collected the vehicle's internal areas were clean, although the driver's seat was fully forward.....why can't these people leave the seat position as they find it? The external areas appeared clean until the vehicle dried, at which time I noticed a scratch right across the bonnet that I assume was caused by them dragging the hose of their high-pressure washer from one side of the car to the other, and additionally a number of missed (and therefore dirty) patches below the door sills. Fortunately the scratch polished off, but as these people are so careless even when they're not busy, I won't be returning to this particular Star Carwash any time soon. UPDATE: Almost 12 months down the track I thought I'd give these people one more try (June '22) and used an NRMA voucher for an external wash only. Only paid $27 but got a similar result, in that the vehicle looked fine in the darkness of the covered carpark, but once seen in the sunlight the same missed sections and streaky windscreen appeared. You get what you pay for I suppose, but even at a discounted price, their job's not worth it. Back to doing it myself from now on.

I booked both my wife and my vehicle online (prepaid) to get basic platinum car wash at 10am. I arrive at 9:50am, the person in charge tells me both cars will be done in 2 hrs. I said I can’t wait that long he says 1 hr 40 minutes for both cars. (Website says 45 minutes to one hour) I then asked him to finish one car asap and then do the second car. As I have a toddler and need to be home and do not want to compromise the child. First car is completed at 11am, I am then told by the manager that second car will be done in 1-1.5 hrs. I said that’s fine. I return at 13:30 and the car is still not finished. I am told by the owner that he would message me once it is done and that he had other cars ahead of time and I said I had booked online for 10am for that reason he said this was an external issue. I told him that the customers that book need to be priority otherwise Why would you allow this. 10am booking and by 2:00pm the car is not complete. I am a valued customer who have loyalty to this brand i have been to both castle hill locations without any issues. This time No apology no understanding or acknowledgment. Very disappointing !!

I have been using this franchise for over 4 years and on most occasions their work has been good, but since the current person took over recently, their work and charges are not acceptable. We have 3 vehicles at home. The first time he charged my wife a extra $10.00 for cleaning her wheels explaining to her that they were extra dirty and still they needed to be cleaned again when she brought it back home. I took for my Ford Ranger down there to have it cleaned and he went over the ute and informed me that it would cost $89.00. I challenged him over the cost and told him in the 3 years I have had the Ranger I have been charged $65.00 and didn't know of the increase. He took me to their charges board and showed me. I said, "you have hand written that yourself", he then offered to show me the history, but he only brought up the mini details that I have done twice a year. I left without letting him near my vehicle. DO NOT trust this person on price or work he is being paid to complete to a acceptable standard.

I asked for a Platinum wash on my SUV which should costs $65. When i asked specifically what is included in cleaning the interior of the car i was told they will vacuum the car and wipe the dashboard, doors and windows. For an additional $10 they will condition the dashboard and other other trimmings. I asked what is conditioning and they said applying Armour All. I initially said no but then they drop the price to $5. I agreed to give the additional $5. I only realised now that i am checking their website that the "conditioning" is part of the Platinum wash. Also When i got the car back the mag wheels were not clean and still has the usual brake dusts/residue. They said it was rust! I said it's not and proceeded to show them to remove it by slightly scratching it with my car keys. First they said they no longer use acid to remove it and then turned around said it would costs extra to do it. Horrible service. would not recommend at all.

Once again people it Kellyville Village that is causing business to charge high prices because of Rent and I get that. Be a bit more reasonable with your prices. Full clean for $55.00. What rip offs. New business thinks it can build customer relationships by being the most expensive car wash in town. It’s $35.00 but we only wipe where your gear level is located. What about the interior and what about the entire car either you want to please your customers or not. When you start with petty things and you are the most expensive car wash then, I will take my car somewhere else. Guess what, I did with better service and commitment to customer service. Either you want business or you don’t! A new business doesn’t demand prices if you are a startup business. Listen to your customers. No customer service unfortunately and one of the most expensive car wash by $15.00.

Booked/paid online for a van/suv. Upon arrival I was told the wash I’d purchased was no good because of “this spot and that mark”. I explained that I didn’t need the interior of the cargo area cleaned so it was much easier than an SUV with 3 rows of seats, carpets throughout and many windows so a little extra care shouldn’t be a bother to them. I referred to the advertised inclusions and requested they proceed. Upon collecting the vehicle I noticed they hadn’t bothered to clean the inside of the doors and also hadn’t applied tire shine. Just a bit slack and lazy. To me it seems these jokers only want to wash cars that are already clean and if there’s a couple of bug splats or some bird droppings they want to up sell and charge more. If you decline their up sell offer they will become hostile and argumentative

I did wash, vacuuming, engine wash in two SUVs here. When inquire on poor cleaning used to say it is the maximum they can do. I showed grease in the engine bay which can just be removed from finger they say it needs very high pressure cleaning and if something happens to engine I have to take the responsibility. They never clean it properly using a brush or anything. Putting the chemical and washing is done with half dirt remaining. First instance charged AUD 125 and second time AUD 80. Their level of quality satisfaction is to be accepted by the customer. They come with so many justifications for the easily removable dirt. Two Indian guys work today are lazy and don't care your need. Useless and dont waste your money here.

Great customer service, polite guys but unfortunately I did not get value for money because the finishing which included Platinum polishing, wipe interior was left undone and I had to get the guy to finish off when I wanted to collect three car. The guy told me that the platinum polishing and service was merely a normal wash and wipe..nothing more so when I asked him that if that’s the case then why is there another service that has normal Wash and why make me pay $85 for a Small car ... he smiled ... guess I conned into spending more and receiving less ... I’ll never visit this place again ever ..

Kellyville Star Wash 4/4/23: They hassled the daylights out of me trying to upsell. Asked for basic wash n vac. Very poor job on washing. Missed many areas on body which they then wiped over with a dirty cloth once I pointed them out. I specifically asked them to pay particular attention to the windscreen. Both inside and outside were dirty and smeared when ‘finished’. They did not vacuum or clean dash mat, cup holders, console, door pockets, around inside of the boot, around the inside of the doors or pillars. Didn’t expect much but did expect the bare minimum. Very poor effort

I took a car that I wanted to sell for a $99 star polish service (includes clay bar and polish wax) in the hopes of making it look a little more presentable and hopefully reduce the appearance of minor swirl marks. The job was done in about half an hour. Not only did the car not look any different, I later noticed that there were in fact more swirl marks as a result of their service. How do I know? Well the roof of the car was freshly painted a few days earlier and in immaculate condition, now it's full of swirl marks! Not a happy camper.

Was told I needed to pay extra because car was dirty, I agreed to that & reassured this person that if my car wasn’t dirty then I wouldn’t need to be here. On pick up I had to get him to go over all the exterior door handles as they were still very dirty & the chrome grille looked like it had not even been touched. Took my vehicle home & spent half an hour cleaning the bits they missed. I do not recommend to have your car washed at this business. Do not waste your money here.

How this place has changed in a few weeks. Have been here regularly, and now the operator that claimed to be the owner, wanted to charge me more than the price list sitting behind him. Made out that he would do me the favour, this one off, and charge me the price advertised. When I refused to leave my car there and advised I was not interested, he went to slam my door and told me to go away (words to that extent that is). Do not go there!

Employee told me my car needs a polish, he can't just wash it. Context - my car is ceramic coated and gets washed weekly, it has just missed 2 weeks. Only minor road grime. He pointed to a patch and said he wouldn't be able to clean it, it needs polishing. I wiped it off with spit on my thumb. He pointed to another one, insisting I get a polish. I wiped it with my thumb again, and it disappeared. I drove away. Don't let them upsell you!

They clean underground parking, at first you see your car clean, because it's dark. But on reality they miss so much details. For $89 I would expect better job. They use some kind of chemicals/ selicon on my window screen, that made the window hardly clear under rain, and very dangerous and frustrating to drive while it's raining. Overall nice stuff to deal with , and would give them another chance.

Terrible experience I had with this car wash in Kellyville today. I booked and paid on line to have my car wash and clean. When I got to the place they said we dont have any booking for you, after taking my money. The owner was rude and arrogant. So I rang head office of Star Car Wash and they promise to refund my money. I dont recommend this place in Kellyville to anyone, it's bad business!!!

Be careful of the unlicensed employee moving your car. They accept no responsibility for damage and laughed in my face when apparently apologising. I spoke to customer service and they didn't seem to care either. I wouldn't even accept a free wash from this circus as I'd still have to go over it at home. I'd rather pay the local scouts $50. At least they care and they are not rude.

This has to be one of the shoddiest businesses in Sydney. I requested a standard clean and the literally did nothing. They didn’t vacuum they didn’t clean the tyres and the windscreen was murky. The attendant then refused to give me my keys so I could open the boot to check if they had done it. Seriously avoid this place it’s really bad. The good reviews must be fake.

Pre booked and paid online for an interior detailing for $170 and when I arrived on-site they insisted I would be charged an extra $150 because the car was dirtier than what they offer the service I paid for. Would I be paying for them to clean my car if it wasn’t dirty? The end result was decent but left a significantly bigger hole in my pocket for sure.

Apparently they only wash clean cars. I took my 2 month old Santa Fe in after a dirt road trip and he decided the pricelist didn't apply because the car was dirty and wanted $100 for a $65 wash. I told him to stick it and got it done for about $35. A better job than they had previously done on a clean car...

Understaffed, very long wait times, i've given up on Star Carwash. This is the 4th time i'm tried to use a Star Carwash and the wait times have blown out from an hour ( which is fine) to two or three hours for a simple wash. You need to manage your staffing levels much better to look after your customers.

I paid over 100 dollars for a wash, it took them over 3hours when I was promised 1, the workers looked like children and did not do the job, it looked like the car was just watered down, that's it will never use this service again at least you try to reach out to customers

I used this service a couple of years ago. I had a new car. They didn’t even take the mats out and vacuum the floors. The windscreen was dirtier after they finished than what it was before dropping it off. Today I received a message saying my car was ready to collect. I didn’t even give them my car

Do not bother trying to use! They do not follow hours listed on website and open/close as they please. Was also told that it is always a minimum wait of 45 mins always but if it is needed sooner then they can just do a bad job even if you arrive first thing???

I am not happy as had items left in the boot of my car, the items were moved without my permission to the back seat of car and phone mount item in packaging was taken. I am very disappointed and upset as theft has taken place and will not be returning.

Paid $200 for a car wash. From dashboard to boot, dirt found everywhere. The vents had some sort of cleaning fluid stains, cups holders still had coffee stains, mud mark on the door outside that I wiped with my finger. Now, this was a $200 wash!

They did such a bad job on my car. They literally vacuumed and wiped my dashboard for $55. They were so rude about it too when I complained they said I was cheap and should have paid for a premium clean. Terrible experience. DO NOT RECOMMEND

The work done in this car wash is a top class work on the reasonable price. Appreciates the work and the service provided to costumers with the clarification what the sort of work is provided in the car. Great job guys keep the pace.

Have taken my car here twice, usually drive in (premium wash) and they have always finished my car on time and impeccably cleaned. It looks like new every time! Very happy customer and will continue to bring my car here.

Arrived to pick up car and found 2 very unhappy clients, with the car wash owner raising his voice. My car wasn’t vacuumed, it took them 3 turns to finally get it right after I stood there telling them where to vaccum

Their price varies all the time $95 to $65 for the same vehicle. They just make the pricing up as they go. Missed a lot of spots in the car which I had to clean myself after… don’t trust them or their work.

I took my car recently for a detailed cleaning and polish. Lots of spot left on the cat and needed to ask them to clean it again. The paint didn't look polished at all. Not happy with the service

I received the vehicle back looking brilliant. They even detailed under the guards which finishes off the professional detail. No complaints at all. $55 for a ford ranger, bargain, I will be back

Got the car washed there on Sat 7 Dec. The quality to detail is terrible. Seats are still sticky from the kids, there's still crumbs on the carpet. Save your money. They are duds. Never again.

Outside and inside of car cleaned well but windscreen on 2 cars I had cleaned were smeary and had to get them redone.....attention to detail needs to be improved.
