Fabulous new pub in Levenshulme. Have watched the building work over the past few months from my perch on the 192. Victorian era train station that has been beautifully & simply restored. Too late for food (stop serving food after 3pm on a Sunday). But great selection of drinks: beer, wine, coffee, iced coffees, soft drinks, cocktails. More

Big fan. Went here for a Sunday roast, following a friends recommendation, and we were not disappointed. You don't have to order extra sides, as you do with most places in Manchester. It comes with everything that you need. It was also, of course, delicious! So far, the best Sunday roast dinner in Manchester. We will be back. More

We went for lunch for the first time at Station South today. The service was incredibly slow and when we finally got the food it was bland, tasteless and greasy, also the cake was dry ( maybe you should cover the cake especially in hot weather)Definitely overpriced and we won't be going back. More

I visited last week at dinner time, I was in a bit of a rush but got a table straight away and was served very quickly. The food was excellent, served up by a really friendly waitress. There is a real nice vibe to the place. I will definitely visit again More

Quirky venue in the old train station. Bright and airy atmosphere with lots of tables. Great breakfast choice including fresh pastries and cooked breakfasts. Staff were very accommodating and the food was delicious! Would definitely return. More

I've wanted to try this place for a while, you order at the bar which is fine. However our food took a really long time. Our friend got hers first and she ordered after us, but she didn't get her drinks and had to ask. The food totally made

Lovely cafe with friendly staff and very spacious indoors and outdoors. Good food. We were a table of 6 on a Sunday when the menu is Sunday roast only. We all enjoyed the roasts (there is a choice of meats and veggie). The plate was great -

Gorgeous. Spotted it was now open while walking on the Fallowfield Loop (always thought the Loop could do with a coffeeshop ON the trail) and called it on the way back. A 20 minute way for a table because I was obviously not the only one to

A not-so-hidden gem. Eaten there a few times and the food and service has always been first class (it's a restored former railway station building after all!). Good vibes as soon as you walk in and everyone's incredibly friendly - the place

Station South is a big family favourite in our house. It doesn't matter if you want to go for a nice walk and a pint, or sit in and have a something delish to eat - they have it all. The FOH team are all so nice, it feels like you've popped

Nice community feel cafe. Good cycle parking. Dog friendly. Super friendly staff. Sits on top of the great walking and cycling path the Fallowfield loop. Serves good hearty breakfast, nice pastries, artisan ice cream by “grandpa greens” and

Cannot recommend this place enough! We went on a work Christmas party and they looked after 18 of us. The food was really good. High-quality and really well cooked. The chef was a really nice guy and introduced himself. He was proud of his

Excellent venue beautifully restored. Staff were friendly. Food was nice (but eggs over cooked). However, food took almost an hour to be served. Several other tables arrived after us and their food arrived before ours. We chased our order

I've been here a few times this week for breakfast as I'm staying in the area temporarily. Food has been great every time. I started with the station eggs with pulled pork, had a manc muffin another day and a bacon butty the day after.

This has fast become our favourite eatery and we often treat ourselves to a mid week beverage ( ... or something a little stronger!) as well as regularly enjoying a quick bite as a lunch time treat when we are able to pop-out from the

I organised a surprise birthday party for 20 guest in the viewing platform. Everyone agreed that the buffet menu was superb. The viewing platform is a brilliant room for an event of this size. It overlooks the cycle path and is well

Ha ha, what a find. Stumbled on this by accident. Didn't have a usual full English and we opted for heuvas and kedgeree. What a move that was, absolutely scrumptious. Perfect hangover cure. Will be back for full breakfast next time

  • Mr Chris' Kapow Wow Learning!

This was a great hidden gem. Really friendly and caring staff. Beautiful inside to sit or outside to eat and drink. The chips were very fresh and crunchy. I also ordered the shroomy Halloumi burger. I really enjoyed

I'd been really keen to try Station South after several friends had recommended it. I went for a mid-ride refuel and LOVED it. Lots of secure bike parking was a good start! The building is beautiful and feels relaxing to be in.

It’s a must visit! Had the station eggs and pulled pork and it was amazing! My partner had the breakfast which was also lovely! The service was excellent, and a lovely calm and relaxing environment. More

Great set up. Outdoors is a nice sun trap with lots of places to park bikes. There is also a balance bike track for the little ones. Food and coffee is decent as well with a decent range of options. More

We've started to enjoy a walk down the fallow field loop and stopping midway at the station south with the dog is fantastic. The decor is very bohemian and cool and the food selection is soooo good.

Lovely place. Went on an organised walk from here. Met up here. Nice big restaurant area good seating outside and plenty of space. Staff nice and friendly. Great walk into Highfield Country Park.

  • Stephen Marks

Really nice food and super friendly staff. Bit heavy on the ‘yummy mummy’ crowd though. Be prepared to overhear a load of fawning over baby Arthur and baby Olivia by the Etsy mafia. More

Had a lovely Earl grey while my friend had a hot chocolate. This was a recommendation from a friend. Quite lovely café didn't know it existed. Will definitely come again. Thank you More

Mr first visit here, just before Christmas. What a place! It's been restored beautifully, and had the most amazing atmosphere (helped by live Christmas music the night we were there).

Nice building and freindly staff. Good food. The place is quite noisy so the acoustics are bad, need to add more soft furnishings to make it a better place for talking. More

Fantastic food and drink, friendly service and a lovely building/outdoor space. Highly recommended, especially if you're walking/cycling along the Fallowfield Loop. More

Friendly, community, bicycle, brunch, bar. Strongly recommended. We had the Manchester muffin, rancheros and mushrooms all good but the rancheros really stood out.

Nice little spot that sits on the F Loop. A good place to break on a days walk. We popped in on a Sunday, it was busy, which speaks volumes. More
