A great space where people could appreciate contemporary art in a natural setting. The park covers 16 hectares of landscaped gardens and natural bushland and features over 100 sculptures made from a variety of materials. One of the best things about this place is that it's very family-friendly. The park is big enough to walk around without exhausting the kids, and there are sculptures that children can climb and crawl into. The park also offers interactive activities for both kids and adults. The gallery space hosts a diverse range of exhibitions, including paintings, photography, and installations. The knowledgeable guides offer tours and educational programs, and the cafe is a great spot to grab a bite to eat or something to drink. Overall, the Park and Gallery is an inspiring and unique destination that combines the beauty of nature with the creativity of contemporary art. It's a great place to spend a day with the family and appreciate the stunning artworks in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The Studio Park is a beautiful area of natural bushland that covers 7.75ha directly adjoining the McClelland Sculpture Park + Gallery. I find this a wonderful example of how Langwarrin would have looked prior to the settlement of white people with so much untouched natural bushland. There are 2kms of walking tracks give people lots of chances to enjoy the diverse habitats. Best way to get into the park is from Sycamore Avenue. Plenty of wildlife and birdlife to enjoy. Walking paths Note that no dogs are cats are allowed in this Park Reserve. Wheelchair friendly.

Great for Happy Potter: Wizards Unite game as well as Pokemon Go! Heaps of stops and gyms. Free entry, ample parking. Please take a moment to donate spare change to the park as it is run by community funding. Lots of interesting sculptures and installations as well. Has a small indoor gallery as well as a coffee shop and gift shop. Please do not touch any of the gift shop merchandise unless you plan on buying it. Great for family picnics as plenty of grassy areas; just please remember to take ALL of your rubbish home with you (no public bins).

We had a wonderful couple of hours roaming through this fabulous sculpture park and gallery. There are some very impressive works and so many dotted along the coastal bushland tracks making this one of the best sculpture parks we have visited in our travels. A huge thank you to Dame Elizabeth Murdoch and her family for their vision and generosity. They have given Melburnians and our guests a uniquely Australian art experience, for just $6, children free. A great place to take the family in the holidays.

Not to be confused with McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery which is directly to the West. Studio Park Reserve is a bushland reserve of remnant indigenous heathy woodland. It contains some great flora and fauna to find. Well worth visiting in late Winter and early Spring for wildflowers including native terrestrial orchids. This reserve has no access to McClelland Sculpture Park and is maintained by City of Frankston. Other than info signs it has no facilities. No pets are allowed here.

"This is the best day ever" said Mr 6 and Miss 10. The whole family had a great time exploring all the treasures. It's clean and tidy, plenty of space, staff and visitors were all kind, beautiful spots for a picnic and the food and coffee at the Cafe are great too. Pram friendly and we all felt safe and relaxed. Very highly reccommend exploring again and again.

It's bizarre in a beautiful way. The setting, the sculptures, the whole place in general is unique. It is worth a visit. It can get creepy sometimes as the sculptures are nestled in the wilderness among the trees. The paths are rough and not paved. So, if you have a baby, better have a carrier or one big tough pram. There's is also a creepy toilet among the trees . I loved it because I love out of the ordinary boring stuff.

This Studio Park Reserve is a very interesting place to see, and it was great that our group had a tour guide to let us know the history behind each of the exhibits in the areas we visited. Would highly recommend organising a tour guide before visiting as they have a lot of knowledge to give, and I felt that this enchanted the visit to this amazing park.

The sculpture park changes every now and then but a lot is still there from the last time but I still enjoy it and the cafe is excellent. Worthwhile going to just for the cafe. Please support places like this as they really make the state special. It is not huge but there is enough to feel you are away from the urban / city.

I just wishing to give a heart felt tribute to Mrs Murdock for her contribution to this priceless public property rich with pulsating, breathing Australian fauna and flora. In our Common Wealth the countries most eminent sculptors giving breathtaking experiences to visitors.

What a cool place! The sculpture park is a great location for some unique family time. There are so many statues to find and a large area to go exploring. I loved the sheer range of styles and mediums. The kids loved finding traffic lights in the bush and giant rhinos.

  • Shirley Green

Took a stroll through the sculpture park at McClelland Gallery. Lots of interesting sculptures in a bushland setting. Walked the labyrinth which is also an art work consisting of large stones placed on top of each other. It was quiet and restful.

  • Rey Dey

I really enjoyed the scenery, walk and sculptures. Definitely worth the price of $6 and I got a free drink from the cafe. You could easily spend a few hours wandering around or have lunch. There’s so much amazing art to see everywhere you

  • Terry O'Neill

Good meals although limited choice. Simple fare would be nice addition, like chips or sandwiches. Very nice to wander the grounds and discover sculptures hidden along paths. Overall a good experience for families and others.

  • Brett Whittaker

Amazing park, great experience for art lovers and kids alike. Lots to explore, so much to see, I could have easily spent most of a day here. Be prepared for a good healthy walk and enjoy at your own pace.

  • Eva

If you are looking to have a nice afternoon out, this place is the place to be. It’s free art - what could be better? The sculptures are abstract and interesting to see. Have a picnic or enjoy browsing.

  • Liz Gibson

Large sculpture park. It is home to the fantastic "Tree of Life" sculpture, formerly on Peninsula Link at Karingal. Has an art gallery, cafe and home to a number arts and crafts guilds. Worth the visit.
