I was lucky I think, came for dinner and there was no queue. Staff were attentive and made the subs beautifully. I had the Italian wholemeal with herb and cheese, chicken and bacon melted cheese and Southwest Chipotle. Also had the Italian wholemeal with herb and cheese melted steak with blue cheese sauce. Fresh, tasty, filling and satisfying. Definitely tempting to come back for more

Time 4:30pm on 24 May 2023. Do not go to Devonshire Subway in Surry Hills. The staffs are rude and poor service especially the lead female staff. The staffs have no idea how to use cash register with split payments. The male staff throw food on the bread while making sandwich. The lead female staff told me not to come back again just because I told her to do split payments using Restaurant Gift Card from The Card Network . She says I am wasting her time. If am the boss, she will be sacked on the spot. The worst Subway in NSW not even one star.

today the Asian long hair lady with glasses was serving us, there's no other customer but me and my gf but she rushed us to make the order, she was really rude and grumpy. the sandwiches also didn't taste good like what it supposed to be, the sandwich bread was soggy because she didn't toasted long enough and somehow it's missing something as it's very bland and my gf agreed with me. probably because she didn't add enough salt and paper on our sandwiches. it just was really bitter experience and I won't coming back again!

The staff during lunch hours are always nice and friendly (despite there usually being a queue of people). The night staff however are lazy and have less personality than the bread. You'd think they'd be happy to have some customers, but they throw the ingredients on and want you out the door ASAP, they don't even let me scan my Subway card. Food and price is pretty standard for a Subway, no complaints there.

Do not go to Subway on Chalmers street Surry Hills. Unfortunately I have stopped eating Subway due to an incident while eating one. The last seafood sensation Subway I had there was an unpleasant surprise. A big piece of plastic that I could have easily choked on which was included in my seafood sensation Subway. This experience has ruined my Subway dinning. Stay well clear of this store.

Ordered chicken classic sub, but there was no chicken on it? Biggest thumbs down Please don't order from here. Do yourself a favour and go get a real sandwich from another business that actually cares about their customers.
