Excellent Library and community business center. The library offers so many different daily events especially for young children (Rhyme Tome, Story Hour, etc). And, the business center is clean and professionally staffed with private meeting rooms, scannr/printers, exhibition rooms, free wifi, etc. I wear a pair of noise-cancelling headphones and able to work for hours & hours. There are several great shops very close by (Azmira Coffee, Ballcourt, food shops, etc.) that make it easy to work at Library then step out and get a fresh coffee, sandwich or an adult beverage Also, Sunbury’s downtown is only a 6 minute walk

Great place to find out basically "anything". If you are on a quest for knowledge or simply making a routine enquiry of the local Hume Council, all there to be found and found out. Enjoy learning? Enjoy being part of an intellectual world? A place for kids and aged people too. Just get down there seriously and it's a great place to go. You will probably wish you had started going sooner once you realise. But the important thing is to know that the Sunbury Library is so much more than a library. Even if you hate books, it's not even about literature, it's about a "global identity". Right?

Went to the library on Sunday for a quiet place to study. A book club arrived and proceeded to laugh and talk so loud I could hear them through my noise cancelling headset. They were disturbing everyone trying to read quietly. Lovely librarian explained they have permission to be there. Considering how many meeting rooms there are in this facility it's disappointing the library allows such noise in the central area. Gone is the traditional, silent haven.

I would not choose to come here if you are planning for quiet study. it is extremely loud and not the typical library I would expect to have peace and quiet to focus in. it made my studying limited due to loud distractions and the staff talk and roam around quite loud too. do not recommend if you are wanting to focus on your own study.

Have been visiting just about every Monday recently with our 3yo for story time at 11am. They are wonderful and the kids all have a blast. They do several stories, songs and craft activities with the kids and their adults. There is also a very good selection of books and their catalogue and holds system is amazing. Love this library!

Awesome modern library with stunning interior and futuristic gadgets such as a book case that automatically "returns" items when you place your borrowed books on it.. whaaat?! Their toilets are also luxurious which is just the cherry on top. The staff are extremely kind and helpful every time I'm here, I would live there if I could.

The Sunbury library is such an awesome resource with a great range of books and records to borrow. The space itself is nice, neat and a great spot to study in, with booths and conference rooms available. The app also makes renewing and holding books really easy.

Theirs this book club that came in while me and my sister are just trying to read in peace but they are so loud, laughing and talking out loud, I thought it was meant to be a quiet space.Even some of the staff here speak as loudly as they please

Great place for books but lately the activities are worth keeping your out for. ME AND ME MATES sung some great Aussie songs had everyone foot tapping. Best of all it was free.

REALLY DISAPPOINTED- SUPPOSED TO BE OPENED BUT WHEN YOU TURN UP IT'S CLOSED & THEY WON'T EVEN ANSWER THEIR PHONE - TALK ABOUT CUSHY JOBS GETTING PSID TO DO GOD KNOWS WHAT!

Beautifully designed. Lots of natural light. Many different areas to read/study/work. Friendly staff. Lots of free parking behind. Super fast internet. Excellent library.

The staff at the library are wonderful and were a great help during the lockdowns. Thank you for all your hard work and making sure we always had books at home.

Very underwhelming, when compared with Craigieburn library. There should have been a cafe incorporated where disabled students/ adults could work.

Love the selection of books and dvds. Too bad it's the noisiest library and you can't go there for quiet time to study. So frustrating !!!

Major and significant upgrade for Sunbury. It has a wider selection of books and the place is just so amazing and conducive for learning

Beautiful space and lots to do for the kids. My 6 year old is particularly impressed with the PlayStation and Nintendo switch section!
