Totally disappointed with Superior Roof Protection and do not recommend them. I initially queried to have repointing only but Kevin insisted I had to get a roof restoration (without seeing the roof). Given the roof is 20 years old I felt it wouldn't hurt but indicated I was scheduled to get solar in the next couple of weeks. Kevin indicated that would be fine, he could move some work around, and that it would be best to do it before the solar is put in. Pros - Work was done within a couple of weeks a day before the solar got put in Cons - couldn't install safety barriers on the roof due to steel frame. The solar company could so SRR used theirs for 3 sides and risked injury with the open 4th side, a breach of Worksafe requirements - despite the YouTube video of all inclusive items indicating my pergola would be pressure sprayed, it was not, and when I questioned Kevin he indicated 'yeah the video is wrong, i really should remove it. - tree branches were removed without my consent - flashing painted poorly - pointing work on the ends not clean and falling out within 1 day - tiles uneven along guttering and at least 1 goes right up to the gutter edge! - the gutter guard I had installed to keep birds out of my roof, after 1 died in our wall cavity leaving a terrible smell, was removed and not put back - left broken tiles in the roof instead of using the spares I supplied - as promised by Kevin no spare paint was left for me to do any touch ups required - significant amounts of water was sprayed into the eaves and ceiling space (it was dripping through our ensuite heatlamp/fan) - everything was sprayed on the roof, including a birds nest - the roof was meant to have 3 coats (1 sealer and 2 paint) with 2 hours of drying between sprays. They only spent 3 hours spraying so I suspect they didn't apply the 2nd coat or didn't allow the right amount of time to dry - never received a formal receipt for payment of the work (in excess of $5,000), a requirement for any warranty and a legal business requirement, despite asking several times. Will be reporting this to the authorities. When I presented this to Kevin his response was "that's normal". He didn't offer to come and have a look. He did try to ring me 4 times, one after another, while I was in a meeting, which I was not happy about either. He then texted indicating that he was going to tell me again that this is all normal. I do NOT recommend this company. All sales talk, poor quality and terrible customer service.

I will honestly say I am a pain to deal with when it comes to paying for a trade to come in and do work for me. I expect high quality workmanship in all aspects. Kevin has gone above and beyond with me and even answered numerous phone calls and come back out to explain query’s of mine. The roof is 30 years old and obviously far from brand new however Kevin has done an impeccable job and is certainly the best in the business. I couldn’t be happier and completely recommend to anyone looking to overhaul their roof. My roof is looking 100% Cheers Kev

Couldn’t be happier with the work Kevin and his team have done for us. There are a lot of dodgy operators doing roof work so it was excellent to see how professional this company is. No high pressure tactics, just a well explained quote telling you exactly what you can expect. Work started about 10 days after we accepted the quote and proceeded efficiently by the team. The end result is fantastic, our roof looks brand new. I can highly recommend this company, they are worth every cent we paid.

Had an issue with some timber on the apex of our roof. Kevin was flexible and came out while my husband and I were at work and fixed it, calling my husband to let him know the initial issue before he proceeded. This is the second time we've had Kevin out for our property, on both occasions he was patient, efficient, quick, flexible and a rare, true honest tradie. Very satisfied with Kevin's work as he was able to repair my roof efficiently and quickly. He was well prepared for the job as he repaired a corner tile of my roof that had been broken within a timely manner.
