Went for a couples massage today this evening with my wife, and it’s probably the worst massage I’ve ever experienced. Usually when a person leaves after a massage they feel a big difference and a good level of pain, however we both left feeling no difference at at all and dissatisfied with the service. If I’m honest my grandmother in her old age could give me a better massage. I don’t know if the masseuses were tired after a long day, but this massage that we both received really isn’t on and not worth the money. There was no pressure at all from the masseuse, ever after I both informed her during the massage. My wife’s feedback was that the masseuse spent more time oiling her hair than actually massaging her, and again no pressure put into the massage after she informed the masseuse during the massage. From my experience it’s definitely not with the money, and won’t be visiting any time soon . I think the improvement that should be made is the receptionist who speaks good English should help communicate with the staff exactly what the customer wants out of the massage, so the message can be relayed to the them properly. If you are looking for a good massage slightly out of the area go to Norwood, Leelawadee Thai Massage & Beauty instead. Been going there a few times and is the massages are first class.

I have been to many spas and I was amazed to find one close to home so I had my first spa experience without using the spa facilities. I would definitely go back there again; I even told friends and family to book an appointment. The shop opens at 11:00 but I recommend booking at 11:30 so the staff had time to get themselves in order. Since I spent some time in the comfortable waiting area, I noticed the shop smells amazing and so relaxing. They proceed with the transactions without asking for any important health information and with any massage-strength preferences. The massage room was dark that you could see around the small room and make out what it is. However, I was given the initial instructions in the dark room. I felt was rushed because I was their first customer and I wasn't given a chance to explain that I am deaf. Luckily, I knew what to do! The masseuse was very nice and did tapped me when finish as requested. Getting to the nitty-gritty, I paid for a neck, shoulder and back massage for 30mins She massaged super hard but she managed to sort out the knots and I could relaxed my shoulders. She even did my arms and hands! I did feel 30mins wasn't enough! I wanted stay under her magic hands for longer; maybe make it more a relaxing spa experience. Definitely worth a trip!

So happy that Suwanna’s Thai Spa in Norbury is open again. Very impressed with how they’re dealing with #COVID measures. I received a text yesterday updating me on the new procedures. - temperature check - wear a mask - arrive 5-mins early - all staff are wearing a mask - every area is cleaned down after a client - provide contact details for track and trace - confirm you do not have any COVID symptoms 60-mins Thai combination massage and my calves, achilles , hamstrings, groin, hip flexors, quads, shoulders - everywhere feels SO MUCH BETTER Also has my back clicked... lovely! All for the bargain price of £50! They really struggled during lockdown so if you’re in need of some TLC then I highly recommend them - you’ll be supporting a fantastic small, local business as well. Thank you for sorting out my tight muscles - I feel amazing now! ☮️

I booked my appointment for a body scrub and massage a month ago and they called me and told me they didn’t have any hot water so I rescheduled. After a month I came to my appointment and no one had called me to tell me that the hot water was yet again not running. They asked to me change my service which I did. Then while I was in the room 5 mins into my massage they told me the water is running and would I like to do the scrub which I said yes to as that was what I wanted originally. The scrub was good however the shower area was small and very cold. Additionally, it was blocked. They then didn’t give me a robe and just a towel to wrap and go back into my room. The massage was good, however it was loud and not relaxing at all! This place does not have the facilities to be offering the services they offer and for the experience you have it is over priced.

I booked a 1.5hr deep tissue massage. When I arrived I was kindly asked which body parts I wanted to focus on and I said back and shoulders. Unfortunately, although the massage started really well and the masseuse was very polite, she informed me she couldn’t do my shoulders as I was too boney. She attempted to; acknowledged they were very tense but then proceeded to skip past them. I am an average build and body weight for my height and age and have never not been able to get a shoulders massage because of my body. This meant that for the whole 1.5hrs she massaged my legs, arms and neck…not the bits I’d requested. It’s a shame as I have heard good things about this place but it wasn’t up to my expectations and I found myself hoping she’d finish early and refund me for 30mins instead. I don’t know how she managed to make legs and arms last 1.5hrs!

I went for the Thai combo massage today and it was by far the best massage I have ever had. Not a second was wasted and I felt totally relaxed afterwards. The lady's name who did my massage was Suwanna. I highly recommend this place- I have been to Little Jannah (up the road) a few times and it was totally rubbish in comparison. Also, been to a few in Tooting, which again did not compare to the one given at Suwanna's spa. I will definitely be going again and recommending to family and friends. I would like to add, that I suffer from Sciatica and was relived of pain when I left the spa. Have to add really quickly that I went again about 2 weeks ago and it wasn't that good of an experience - I had a student massage me (for £60!) and it was very cold in the room to the point that I was actually covered in goosebumps.

To the owner SUWANA. I Had the worst massage today by someone new called Nana. Avoid Avoid Avoid her. I've been attending suwana since its opening and unfortunately this was the worst massage I have had. Nana was awful, appeared inexperienced. She left the cloth off me, had the fan on, it was cold in the room today, her technique was that of an inexperienced masseuse and she left the door open whilst I was undressed. To the owner, Suwana. You run a great massage place, but please check you're hiring the correct staff. I remember the first massage I had was by suwana herself and it was excellent.

Booked this for a birthday treat having seen the 5 star reviews and near my home. The experience was very pleasant but most importantly the treatment I booked (60 min body Scrub and massage). I was seen by Som who is very funny and makes you feel so comfortable. Her hands are like magic so smooth but firm in the right places, I truly did not want it to finish! My skin feels silky smooth and I slept so well that night, which I don't tend to do. This will be a regular self care treatment,prices are excellent for the service received. New receptionist was very nice too, thanks

So happy I found this gem local to me and was just what I needed from a massage. I've been to few other places before but now I realise that was nothing compared to this Thai combination massage or the skill of the lady Neema. She found a knot which I didn't tell her about which I got from a training injury a year ago. She also diagnosed my nerve damage which I had since the labour of my son exactly how it happened. And the massage was firm and included stretches which was just so beneficial. I will be continuing to come back here. Also the tea is amazing!

Just returned from a traditional Thai massage at Suwanna's and I cannot recommend this place enough! I suffer from neck tension causing headaches - this is the first massage I have had which has completely relieved it! A true gem just down the road, with easy booking and brilliant service, I felt like I was back in Thailand - I'll definitely be returning again soon! Like the previous reviewer, I used to go to Little Jannah, Suwanna's far far exceeds Little Jannah. Please please please don't shut down, Norbury has been waiting for a place like this!

I have to say what an excellent place to come for a Thai massage. It's in an ideal location, clean, warm and friendly atmosphere. I've had quite a few sessions & always leave wanting more as it eases built up tension I carry. I've recommended Suwanna's to other's who've also enjoyed their massages. I just like to thank Su, Tik & Nom for making each time I come very pleasurable.

I always use the same person “Patt” and she is absolutely brilliant - every time I’ve had a massage from her I always feel so much better - I usually book an appt every month as I have an o going back problem and Patt always manages to help me out so that I can get on with life without being in constant difficulty- she is a star!! Omg ! How wonderful they are. I arrived super tense and left less tense. I booked 30 minutes but will go back for an hour. Even thinking of making this a regular thing after quite intense yoga practice weekends ! Staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly ! Best thing for me it is just down the road, but definitely worth the journey

This is now my 3rd visit here and each time I have thoroughly enjoyed my deep tissue massage and have left feeling lighter and with all my knots gone. As a massage therapist myself, it's difficult to find other massage therapists of high quality and so I am grateful for finding this place I will definitely be back again.

I go to this place every week if I can for 90 min massage. Naam is an amazing masseuse and knows the human body extremely well and has helped me soooo much, relieving my nerve issues and untwisting my muscles so it doesn't hurt to breath, and slowly but surely getting rid of my sciatica. I recommend a million times over.

I had a great experience at Suwanna's Thai Spa, my masseuse was Lilly, she was very professional polite and really kneaded out my knots! Probably one of the best Deep Tissue treatments I've had, mixed in with a bit of Thai technique. Injured my back slightly doing some gardening and after one treatment at Suwanna's, and I already feel a bit better. Will definitely be returning - can't believe I've never tried this place before.

Went for a deep tissue massage and left feeling much more relaxed and loose. The room was small but clean. The lady was friendly and thorough. Unlike some places, you actually got a full 60 minutes. Booking was easy with good availability. I'd certainly book again if looking for a massage.

This was brilliant, I had a Thai massage. My masseuse was friendly, they all were. She checked if the pressure was ok for me, for a petite woman, she was strong. The environment was calming and smelt lovely. Suwanna's was recommended to me by two different people, they were both right.

I have been here a few times as it is the best Thai massage in the UK! I have to say that Mon is fantastic and very experienced. I’ve had deep knots in my traps and neck for 5+ years, which she has been able to massage and relieve me of the excruciating pain I have been suffering.

I’ve visited Suwanna’s Thai spa for a Thai combination massage. I wish I’d visited sooner! A very good service, excellent communication, good processes in place for staying Covid-19 safe and most importantly a very good massage. I highly recommend a visit when it’s safe to do so.

The guys here are brilliant. Especially Mon, she's my favourite, always gives me an excellent massage. She always asks if you're experiencing pain on any part of your body. If you are, you won't be the next day. I always leave feeling rejuvenated. Well worth a visit.

Aromatherapy massage and complimentary hot stone massage for my first visit was amazing. The place was well heated ! They also took into consideration my health issues. Will be coming again! Was amazing. I do wish they had sauna though but that just one my favs

Had a very good and authentic foot massage for 60mins. Appointment ran on time and was similar massages I have had in Thailand. The venue is a bit cosy, so no area to relax after the massage. I would recommend and try another massage experience in the future.

I visited Suwanna’s as my usual spa was fully booked but I am glad I did. I had hot stone massage from Lily which was incredible and so relaxing. I will definitely be coming back again the next time I want a relaxing day to myself.

I had an excellent experience. Su was very welcoming and even let me view the rooms before hand. I was then greeted by my therapist by the name of Kit. I highly recommend Kit. It ended of with a lovely cup of lemon grass tea.

I always love a massage at times I've tried both their deep tissue and aromatherapy. The last time with aromatherapy I wish they used essential oils of some kind. Lovely staff and they listen to you regarding pressure etc.
