Got my acrylic nails removed today and wasn’t very happy. The staff are all nice but I can’t help but look past this. All the drill bits, files, buffer blocks, brushes, nail clippers ect … they use on our hands were not clean at all! They used the same drill bits and files for everyone not cleaning in between. The file the lady used on my was used so much that it wasn’t even filing my nails bc of the use it had. This is very unhygienic and not safe! Using the same products and applicators is a safety hazard! The tables were also really dirty and the chairs as well. The little white boxes they keep with there drill bits in it is so dirty and the brush she used to get the powder off my hands was visibly brown and dirty not the pink it should be. Not happy at all about this. Also having stickers with QR codes bribing customers that if they scan and leave a 5 star review they will get money off. Not the way to get good reviews.

Absolutely terrible service !!!! I have used this service before and have loved them. I went in today wanting to treat myself to a impromptu pedicure as a treat as a busy mum for a young baby. Since I didn't have a booking I was asked to come back in 20minutes which I didn't have a problem with...came back, walked in and no one acknowledged me to even looked up. Sat down, still nothing. After 5 - 10minutes I gave up and left with no service and no one acknowledging me in that whole time!!!!! Also after waiting for a short time I had gotten a shocking headache from the fumes in there so there is obviously not adequate ventilation. Will NOT be going back and will tell friends to do the same.

I didn’t go here myself but my friend called me crying after her appointment. She said it was the worst experience ever. She said the person who did her nails cut her numerous times, slapped her hands and told her that she couldn’t get French because she wanted short nails, the nail tech said that she doesn’t do short nails and doesn’t like them. My friend was left with her hands sitting in the acetone for over 20 minutes and had stains of her old colour left on her nails. The nail tech made her choose another colour and has done a TERRIBLE Job at the application. It’s all over her skin and doesn’t look good. She is very unhappy and will never go back here.

The lady I had was very nice at the beginning but as the nail salon got busier she got angrier and more aggressive. She was slamming things on the bench, rolling her eyes as customers said what they would like, and was getting annoyed with ME because the nail polish wasn’t setting. She was so rough on my fingers that my nails are hurting. She also wouldn’t except my gift voucher because it was older than six months but nowhere on the voucher does it say you have to use it within six months.

First time getting my nails done, ever. Overall result was pretty good, although some nails were trimmed wonky, and one nail was left way longer than the rest. The woman didn't explain the process (what she was doing) to my hands and was too busy talking to her colleague. Naturally i was a bit concerned while she was trimming my own nails. My friends nail artist kept catching her skin and making it bleed while using the buffer. No hygiene practices were used - considering there was blood.

Turned up at 1pm today for infills and was asked to come back at 3pm so we made a booking. When I came back at 2:45, they were only just starting 2 new girls extensions then, so I sat and waited, then when another 2 girls walked in at 2:55 for their 3pm appointments as well, it was obvious my appointment was either not going to happen or was going to be rushed to be done by the 4pm closing time. They need to manage their time and expectations of clients better. Left upset.

Way too unprofessional! Called to make an appointment but no one answered the call, so I went in person to make the appointment, told them clearly that I am after full set acrylic with removal, they gave me the appointment and made me sit for 20mins, and after that I have been told that they dont have enough time to do the full set, wasted my time..if I would have been told before I could go to some other place and wouldn’t have waste so much of time. Will never be back!!

I have been going to the Sweetie Nail in the city , clean and tidy,but thought I would try the Kingston branch seen I was heading that way. Staff were friendly ,but the whole business was very dusty and dirty ...perhaps instead of staff sitting on there mobiles ..they could sweep the floors and dust, wipe tables and equipment I will not be going back there again..If someone from the health dept walked in they would or should close you down till your place was clean.

I got my old acrylic nails removed and I got them redone and my sister came with and the employee was nice and my sister wasn't gonna get any done Couse she didn't have money on her but she asked my her nails we by yellow after a day after we went to a different place a week before and she explained why and the lady asked are you gonna get yours donee but my sister said no Couse she didn't have money on her and the lady just said no I'll redo them for you for free

Completely unprofessional people. Ridiculous service, untidy place and ladies are so rude. They definitely don’t respect the time of other person. Would never go back Who told you that I have visited your place today? I visited this place on Monday the 23rd of May. And just an FYI, I had an appointment booked at 3pm and you guys made me wait for 40mins before you bothered to say that I have to wait another 30 mins. Ridiculous, think before you respond!!!

Great service. The girls and guys are always happy and helpful. They always have excellent ideas for nail design and nothing is a problem. Very accommodating. That's why I don't go anywhere else. My nails always last for a long time and never in the 2 years I've been going to them, have my nails lifted or chipped. I've had my nails done for 25 years and this is definitely my happy place. Well done Hai and team at Sweeties.

Great service and extremely busy which I can understand why. Great collection of Bridal colour though. I am extremely fussy about my colour, had my nails done with SNS in the colour N126 and love it. All the girls there are so kind that not only I got help from my nail artist but the whole crew. Love it. Was so concerned by reading all the negative comments but so proud that I made my decision to go there. Good job team!

My daughter and her friend went there for their manicures and they checked the prices prior and as published, my daughter’s manicures price is $30 but when she was due to pay, the guy at the counter said to my daughter, if you are paying by cash it will be $30, if by card, it will be $35. My daughter is only 14 and of course she isn’t going to question. So she end up paying $35. Very dishonest. Definitely not going back.

The ladies at Sweetie Nails & Beauty Kingston do an absolutely fabulous job! I get a infill acrylic set every 3 weeks with Lyly, who in my opinion is the most talented nail design artist I've ever come across and had!, i always let her create something for me and I'm always super impressed and constantly get pulled up by strangers asking where I got them done! Would highly recommend this amazing business .

I did my first nail extension here last week, compare to the market the price was so fair. I requested to make as the reference photo I had given and girl did the same, very friendly staff and I liked how they explained in details about the prices as it differs in every different style. Very satisfied. Will go again and highly recommended!

Had a horrible technician today. She was wearing a mask and I couldn't understand a word that she was saying as she was also mumbling! Apparently she wanted me to lower my hand and when I didn't, she raised her voice in a very unfriendly and rude manner asking me to please lower my hand. Won't be going back!!!

I’ve had very dry/hard/cracked heels all my life until I stumbled across Sweetie Nails!!! nothing has worked to give me the baby-soft feet that I crave like the pedicures they gave me! If you tried anything and nothing ever worked, try them! I promise you won’t be disappointed. Best Pedicures in town EVER

Can not recommended Sweetie nails highly enough. I've been coming here for a while now and always walk out extremely happy. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that every customer is well looked after. My daughter and I had a very fun time getting our nails done today :) keep up the great work!

I always get the best service at Sweetie Nails, lovely customer service and very helpful ladies. I am always happy with the work they do and love showing off my nails until my next visit. Plus, they always squeeze me in if I walk in off the street. I recommend this business highly!

They charge extras for everything. Clean dead skin $10, another layer $10, chrome effect extra how much I forgot. Different to another nail salon I have been to, they didn’t ask any questions to get your nails down.
