The housekeeping team's dedication to excellence, though I regretfully do not have their names at hand, significantly contributed to the hotel's pristine appearance. Mr. Bharat Ji and his team at Shamiyana exhibited excellence in service and hospitality. Ruchi, Rwiham, and Laxmikant showcased their superb service skills. Jesav Das and Ankit at Nonya graciously offered assistance and a restaurant tour. Miss Dante at E-Lounge and the poolside high-tea provided exceptional service. Mr. Gajanand and Mr. Madhukar at the poolside were exemplary in their roles. The yoga teacher, whose name eludes me, led a delightful session at the gym just before the high-tea. Bhavesh Ji provided an insightful tour of the spa and detailed explanations of the services offered. Check-in was smooth, thanks to the front office team, although there was some confusion regarding photography and videography in the lobby area. A clear signboard might prevent such confusion in the future. In conclusion, Taj Skyline Ahmedabad comes highly recommended. It is an establishment where opulence meets excellence in hospitality, and the experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

In short, the most HORRIBLE Taj experience ever. Check in experience at the front desk was very haphazard, unfriendly and harrowing. It was probably the worst checkin we have experienced at any Taj. At the front desk, I was told about a hold on my credit card for an amount greater than the reservation. When I asked him to hold the exact amount, the person went ahead and swiped the card. He then told me to pay directly for any extra charges. I have not seen this happen before. Upon enquiring about an extra bed for each of our rooms, which we paid for during the reservation, we were told that it would not be possible to set beds up since we did not have a triple reservation! This threw us off completely! Instead of helping, he kept on arguing and then said he would talk to his seniors and revert soon. There was no revert and no extra bed arranged till 9:30pm that night after I had to escalate the matter. During reservation we had also left a note about our rooms being connected or at least on the same floor. This helps us spend time with our family as much as possible. However, at the front desk we were told that there are no connected rooms. Instead we were offered rooms far apart. Upon insisting we were given rooms across each other on the 8th floor, 816 and 817. When we entered room 817, we were sad to see the view of the slums. We were not given any kind of heads up. While taking a shower in the room, water was not draining. The soapy water flooded up within a minute and it was a disgusting experience. Upon calling the front desk they sent a plumber to unclog the drain which was probably not cleaned for a long time. We wanted to do some sightseeing and have Gujarati thali for lunch and needed some help and guidance from the concierge. When we called the front desk we were told that concierge would call back soon. We waited for 10-15 minutes and did not receive any call back. After getting fed up with these operational issues I wanted to talk to the GM. He happened to be out of town and I was connected to Mr. Singh, head of operations. I requested for a refund as this was not the Taj level of service which we have experienced in other locations. After going back and forth with him the entire day I was tired and gave up. Even the TV had issues. It was powering on but there was no content playing. We tried changing the HDMI input using the remote but that did not help. Upon calling the front desk they sent someone to fix the setup. There was also construction noise on the 10th floor ceiling with constant hammering starting from 9 am. Overall a harrowing experience to say the least. Hopefully, this review will help you have a better experience and Taj to improve their services and truly live up to their claim. We or other guests do not have to go through the harrowing experience with Taj as we did. We had booked Taj for celebrating the joy of Taj being ranked as India’s Strongest Brand for the third time. It is pertinent to mention that GM reached out for feedback after our stay. Upon providing the details he provided apologies for the inconvenience we faced and that they are making amends to ensure that future stays are comfortable. My family and I will think twice before giving Taj Skyline another chance.

We stayed at Taj Skyline for 3 nights from 19th August 2023. We had traveled from Kenya for a medical treatment for my husband. On reaching the place, the manager at the desk asked us to wait at the lobby as we were early for check-in. On asking how long we need to wait, we were told we will pay extra charges for early check-in, which we had no issues with! We waited at the lobby for 2 and half hours before being given a room. In this 2and half hour wait, no one offered us any refreshments or even water! Exhausted from the journey, it really was frustrating. During check in time my credit card was swiped and a INR. 10,000 amount was held as a security deposit, however on checking out my card was swiped again by them to pay for all the extras. On questioning them, the boy at the counter said their systems are down and the 10,000rsp will be refunded. We got a room that was the last of the corridor and we could not rest well, as there was constant construction noise and drilling sounds till late at night. When we were due for the surgery at the hospital, we left our bags with them at their cloak rooms thinking after discharge we would come back and stay with them for the remaining of the time. But during discharge their rates became too high and we found another hotel. I went back to the hotel to collect my bags and when I asked a boy at the counter I was very rudely asked to wait at the lobby. I waited for 10mins until finally I asked the lady at the entrance to help me locate my bags. I was taken to the cloak room, my bags were removed and I went back to counter to check on the INR 10000 refund or the process of the security deposit. Once again no one really bothered even greeting me!! So I asked the same girl who helped me with the bags to take my message and ask the front office to call me, as I was doing this the counter got free. I started explaining the boy my case and since it was not important he rudely picked an internal call and started talking to his colleague when I was still talking to him explaining my case! I got very frustrated and upset with this behavior!! It was my first ever experience at a Taj property and it was a really bad one! The front office staff need a lot of training and basic etiquette on how to treat guests! Food was ok, wait staff was not friendly. Once my plate was taken even before I was done eating. I would not recommend this hotel to any of my friends/family. I also wish that I get a better response to my complains rather than ‘our sincere apologies and we will work on this’ !!!

Taj Skyline is located on most happening road of the Ahmedabad i.e. Sindhu bhavan road. Main gate and elevation of the hotel is not on the main road is the worst part of the designing of this hotel. Apart of this occasion of event you have to stand with your car for long queue for entry which is again on narrow and busy road. Very ordinary kind of security personnel at the main gate entry which is not best of the class for Taj skyline. Vallet parking service available but again staff appearances is not like a class of The Taj. We were attending corporate event. Our venue was on the 18th floor. Elevator quality was average, you can feel start and stop jerks. Last week I was visited ITC Narmada and it's elevator quality is far superior. Other than this Banquet was good. Arrangements for the dinner is not organised in a manner to avoid long queue. Order of the dish and bowls is in between starter and main course which is not any logic. Serving staff is kind of average. Not reflecting that class of the Taj. To conclude this review only interior is getting rocks which is the best part. Overall Taj skyline is like ordinary 3 star category hotel. As in Ahmedabad there is more better option than this.

What can be expected when choosing the name Taj is a luxurious and exceptional travel experience that caters to one's needs in terms of accommodation, dining, and overall hospitality. However, it is unfortunate that in the case of my stay at Taj Skyline Ahmedabad, I encountered a regrettable situation involving bed bugs. Despite initially dismissing the discomfort as a bug bite, I discovered an actual bed bug on my pillow and confirmed this with my family members who were staying in the adjacent room and were also awake at 3 am. Promptly reporting the issue to the reception in the middle of the night, they expressed their apologies and offered to change my room. Considering the inconvenience it would cause, particularly with young children sleeping, I chose not to relocate at that late hour, especially with all the luggage involved. What is disheartening is the lack of any compensation or resolution provided by the management, despite providing photographic evidence of the bed bugs and their presence on the pillows. The response received merely consisted of an apology and an assurance that they would address the issue. Consequently, this experience has been a source of shame and disappointment for me and my family. It is regrettable that the management has not shown any willingness to consider a refund. Despite this unfortunate incident, I must acknowledge the positives of my stay. The breakfast at Shamiana was excellent, and the staff at the front desk were welcoming, making genuine efforts to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort.

What can I say - It's TAJ!!! Everything that one would expect from a Taj hotel is true at Taj Skyline Ahmedabad. The room was spacious and the decor was nice and warm. The bathroom is spacious and well stocked. Everything in the room was "luxurious". My husband and I enjoyed the sumptuous breakfast spread - every day. The chef personally took care of us by serving us his special dishes. What was truly amazing was that during the breakfast rush hour, the guests could enjoy a cup of tea and some amazing cookies that were very well laid out while waiting for the breakfast table to be ready to serve. You must try the cookies - very nice. The staff - front desk, concierge, the house-keeping, the security team were all so courteous and helpful. When the house-keeping came to deliver some additional sachets of tea, he noticed that the we had eaten the banana and immediately refilled it even asked if I needed additional fruits. So thoughtful and hospitable. I feel bad that I don't remember their names but would request the management to thank the team who took such good care of us during our stay.

Never tried Taj before so decided to choose it in Ahmedabad this time. Overall, pleasant & enjoyable. I was in a luxury twin room; east facing city view; 9th floor; room 914. A little dated compared to 5 star hotels in Singapore but neat. Breakfast buffet is more Gujarat oriented than international, but decent nonetheless. Live kitchen does a good job with almost any order. All members of restaurant Shamiyana from live station chefs to attendants are well dressed, professional & attentive about the guests requirements. MS Punam Giripunje from housekeeping does a splendid job; very polite, friendly & humble. A valuable asset to the hotel.

Front desk managers Sahil and Niket were amazing at understanding human psychology and catering to the customers before even they ask. And Sahil has a fantastic memory of remembering the guests and the interactions in the past which gives one an additional comfort to stay with Skyline. Good food and spread and Ustad Rafique's live Sarangi adds to the charm. Would look forward to stay again.

After staying at this property for a week I faced several issues daily. I had to change rooms 3 times due to noise and bed bugs. On top of this housekeeping is always rushing the cleaning. I’ve had dirty towels left in my room throw on my suitcases, hair in the bath tub (from previous guest). It all added up to the worst experience I have ever had at a taj property, in fact worst experience I have had at any 4/5 star property. Writing this review in hopes that the management does something about this instead of always offering its “sincerest apologies”. As most guests trust that when they stay at the taj they will be on a SAFE, clean and respectable environment. Unfortunately this isn’t the case at this taj property.

It's Taj.. So naturally it has to be the best and it is. Just one small example of their unparalleled hospitality.. I checked in at 1 am in night and check out at 5.30 am early morning, but at the time of check out they hand over me my packed breakfast bag with enough stuff. Can you believe this? I was in 506 room and Ac failed just after checkin so after multiple requests they shifted to another room and it was pathetic experience. The room no. 612 the Bathroom shower was choked with very low pressure and than washroom tiles were stained badly. I requested for Weighing scale and it was after 40 min not delivered the staff was pathetic at front office and they just ignore the things. All in one not work and expected by Taj and don't recommend to anyone.

The place is filled with the most luxurious amenities including an indoor pool, fitness center, spa, and several dining options. I chose Taj Skyline over others due to the guest reviews and their praise for the hotel's luxury rooms, service, and views of the city from higher floors even though some note it's a bit far from the main city areas. It was a pleasure to stay at the Taj Skyline, the dining was pleasant, we were recieved nicely and the welcome drinks were really good.

I wam a Epicure Preferred member. There is no preferential treatment for being member Staff is definitely undertrained, feedback has no value as same mistakes are repeated again next day. Breakfast Broth was cold, there was no fork to pick noodles people were picking it by hand. Farsan and chiwda was kept without spoon people were using hand to pick. Soiled plates were kept with fresh plates. Butter was so cold and solid that it can’t speed on bread. Request for cleaning plates from room was ignored after 3 calls

My dining experience at Taj Skyline Hotel was truly exceptional. The food was a delightful culinary masterpiece, perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. Inexperienced staff lack of communication! Check in took 40 minutes on a prepaid booking we had a 11 month old baby with us! Construction work was going on in the hotel till 11 pm had to place 2 phone calls...the night duty manager was rude on the phone...second time was forced to be stern Room service was excellent chef was excellent Not the TAJ experience in any way unfortunately Hope they improve and train their staff better

We had one of the worst experience with Taj skyline Ahmedabad. We had hosted birthday party of my nephew and sister-in-law there and we are highly disappointed with their service. The staff there does not know what hospitality means and how one should take with the customer. They keep on passing the call over others. In the era of digital we have been facing to connect with them over the call or message. The staff over there is least interested in the issues of the customer and resolving them.

I would not stay here if you are a business traveler. There is construction going on and the hotel did not inform me about this at the time of booking or at the time of check in. After traveling late I was looking forward to getting some rest only to be woken up by hammering in an adjacent room a little after 8. The construction apparently will be going on “for the foreseeable future.”

Sharing one of the worst experiences with Taj Skyline, Ahmedabad !Unfortunately, the experience fell far below the standards I would expect from a renowned establishment such as yours. Firstly, I found the staff to be non-cooperative and unresponsive to customer needs. Despite being called 20 times , i havent got my refund that i was supposed to get 15 days ago plus whenever you call at hotel and ask about the refund , everytime they say we will call you back !

Staff is good and courteous , Rooms size is good. Bathrooms compare to other Taj properties were smaller. Ordered Room dining and food was really good and service was fast. Got a follow up call as well from room dining to ensure everything was good. Overall good stay.

My experience this time was worst. The hotel staff and the manager is too casual to walk in without permission. The food is not as expected as the reputation of TAj . The formal way to ask to come in is not important for the staff. They walk in if you don’t answer the bell. Be careful… Room cleaning walks in Anytime. As they’ve the spare keys The manager is careless .

The service at the restaurant was not what one would expect at the Taj, lots of trainees, slow, looking exhausted . Maintenance of the rooms is also going down, my room lock was damaged and had to wait for an hour to get entry to my room. They forgot to put the iron, last minute what would one do . Hope they improve.

Went on a dinner to celebrate a birthday. The ambience and decor is good. The spread is decent, not too many things. But the choice of food and menu was very good and so was the preparation. An extra Star for the service and care by the chef Nitin & the team. I would be happy to visit again. I highly recommend it to others as well.

Dr. Vijay Dureja and his clinic, Center for Pain Relief, are simply the best when it comes to non-operative treatment options. I have been struggling with chronic lower back pain for years and finding Dr. Dureja has been a lifesaver.

We had gone to Shamyana to experience the TAJ hospitality but the a la carte had very little food options, the digital menu was not mobile compatible, the fonts were too small to be readable by my parents and way too expensive compared to other fine dining restaurants.

Frequent power supply issues, breakfast buffet not much good u feel different items but very less items which can be considered, lunch bit expensive side
