Attention to detail is not great here. I have a gluten allergy and requested that it was marked on my salad with salmon. I saw it marked on the computer. They brought out the salad with a roll on top. I asked that it be remade; the server came back a couple minutes later saying the kitchen was asking if it was an allergy and needed to be remade or an intolerance where they could remove the roll. ‍♀️ When they finally brought it out, it was missing the salmon— apparently the cashier left it off. The server mentioned it would need to be rung up and remade again. I opted not to do this because at this point I was already running late. Very glad I had food back at the office, but frustrated to have paid $15 for a salad that can’t stave off hunger more than an hour.

I guess my expectation was a little high for this bakery have walked past it a couple times on my way to work, the pastries looked amazingly displayed and you would expect them to be amazingly tasty as well. So I decided to try the berry cheesecake cup to see if it was worth my money as it is a little excessively priced, didn't measure up to the standard, cheese cake was nothing out of the ordinary. Wouldn't mind paying over $7 for a cheesecake cup if it had a little umff to it but this was no better than any other cheesecake cake I've tried. I think you pay more for the atmosphere than the food although there was a fly bugging around my table.

This place is awful. Last week I purchased what I thought was a blueberry muffin but in fact it was nothing but a hard, dried, flavorless block of flour. It was supposed to be blueberry but there were no blueberries in it although it was blue (perhaps coloring). It had almonds in it but they were whole almonds, hard and their brown skin have not even been removed. Overall this place looks great from the outside and the pastries look delicious behind the glass but don't be fooled. They are tasteless and clearly mass produced hence the quality.

Spent a week in DC, saw Tattes located at strategic corner just like the banks so had to go there. Excellent bakery goods and the entire menu looked great, but since we were 2 people only we could t try a bunch. Traditional shakshuka was superb, chocolate croissant, green tea almond cupcake were mind blowing and not too sweet either, had the perfect texture and were enough sweet to not make me feel like I had too much sugar. Latte was good too.

Ehhh…. Hard to believe that a relatively new place like this can drop in quality so quickly, but it did (and hurts me to write this). The food is exceptional. But what lacks is basic staffing and customer service. I took a table today covered in dirty dishes, cups, trash and overall food on the table. No service at all to help clean up. So, I put on my old bus boy hat and cleared the dishes, wiped the table, and threw away the dirty napkins myself. YUCK!!!!! Worst part was that a counted at least two staff standing near by, lallygagging, joking around, and having lots of fun. While the customer of course was doing their work.

We came up at the metro station and this was right near the exit. It’s a cute coffee shop with a cozy setting. They offer many baked goods too. We got the nutella biscuit, roasted strawberry tea cake, cheddar scone and ginger orange muffin. We also got a cappucino and a drip coffee. The roasted strawberry tea cake knocked it out of the park. The coffee was strong and delightful. We tried the remaining items on the next day and it all tasted as good as fresh.

Fun place. Ok coffee. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it was a really big space and a lot of expensive sweets. I'm sure they were delicious. Just slightly outside of my price range for a treat. I got a scone and it was really dry. Granted, it was the end of the day, so it tasted like day old scone. My own fault.

Disappointing breakfast. There was some confusion about our order, which was a Croissant Breakfast Sandwich ($11.25) to share and Decaf Lattes ($5.25). We were brought a Breakfast Sandwich ($10), so got to try both. Just okay and expensive.

Cute place with plenty of options for breakfast. We ordered a latte and a matcha latte and both were very good, along with the tiny Nutella cookies, one pistachio croissant (awesome) and one strawberry jelly donut (also great). They bring it to you if you want to eat inside or in the terrace, and there are always lots of people, which speaks good of this place!

Double check everything you order. Often what you order is not what you get. Or you get what you ordered but it is missing components. I ordered 3 pastries got home to find they were the wrong ones. Order a mixed Green salad with avocado foam. Got it home and it was missing the avocado foam and the cheese.

I never heard of Tatte Bakery before visiting DC. I've visited about five times during my trips to Washington. I order the same breakfast sandwich, bacon and egg on sourdough bread. The sandwich is excellent. I also enjoy their coffee. It's always fresh and hot like I expect. I have not tried their pastries, but they look delicious in the display case.

I ordered the $11 “soft” scrambled egg plate. It would have been a good $6 scrambled egg plate but as an $11 plate in a French style eatery, I expected better execution. Egg was overcooked by French standards.

This was a pleasant surprise, right next door of our hotel. Food is good and fairly priced. We had the French toast and scrambled egg with whipped goatcheese and tomatoes. Took some sweets for the road because we liked our breakfast so much. Very nice!

Would not return for the food, but the space is beautiful. Almond croissants were hard. Breakfast sandwich tasted like the oil spray from the grill. Coffee was average.

I waited for 25-30 minutes for a flat white, but it arrived cold. Employees were chatting while my coffee sat, unattended, waiting to be served by an unknown staff member.

Lovee the aesthetic of this place, I ordered a breakfast croissant and it was mouth watering. Only issue was how small our table was for all the food we ordered.

Authentic European bakery in the small town of Warkworth. We stopped by after heading to an AirBnb in the area, and loved the food. We had the poppyseed cake and a cupcake. The owner is great too!

Cold breakfast sandwich, which is a shame because it could have been good. Bring the to-go orders out when they are ready, don't keep them in the kitchen until you have a stack. It's more trips but your customers will be happier. Four stars for potential, two stars for execution.

Stale (and underbaked) scone and cinnamon rose at full price. Ok latte served in paper cups even when requesting for in house consumption.

The interior is super cute and there’s lots of room inside. It was a great place to take some coffee meetings. The service is very slow though so just keep that in mind. Got the pistachio latte and their cold brew. Both were very good. Next time, I hope to try their food.

Dude at counter said there were no syrups to put in coffee. The syrups were behind him, also checked the menu, turns out there WAS syrups for coffee. also the matcha was really really icky. it didn’t even taste like matcha. Threw it out after 3 sips …

Very friendly and competent staff. The lines move well and your food and drink come out quick. Also this is my favorite location across from Farragut Square. Very European Cafe vibes.

Not a fan of not making more. Heard this was the most popular flatbread. Once its gone, they dont make any more. Total bummer. I worked from here today and was hoping to grab something to go on my way out.

Really nice Bakery with great coffee and outdoor seating. Breakfasts are great, and their pavlova is absolutely amazing. If you are gluten free they seem to have a decent amount of options as well.

Service was good but a bit pricey. Their chocolate Croissant was yummy
