I had a problem with my NUC switch which was wobbly and I could not turn on my PC reliably. I contacted a few repairers in CBD before Tecs and no one seemed to be interested in prompt repairs. But Tecs was different. Alim offered to inspect my PC immediately. I went there yesterday about half an hour before the store closing time. Alim politely asked for my permission to open the case. A few minutes later, he came out to tell me that the a plastic part behind the turn-on switch was broken. They could repair it but at a high labour cost; alternatively he suggest to take away that plastic part and use a small piece to reach the switch to turn the machine on. He even gave me a magic pen (which says 'Some are PC, we are gaming) to do the job. He did not charge me a cent for doing all these. I have found Tecs to be very friendly, professional and practical in approaching the technical issues. They are honest and kind. I have no hesitation to recommend this business to anyone who wants to have their PC repaired or replaced. It is cold in Melbourne now but it is warm in Tecs!

Handy having a small and convenient PC shop like this one around. While waiting a week for a PSU to arrive I tried to get my system up and running using an old PSU. I needed a dual molex to PCIE adapter for the GPU. Props to these guys for having them in stock. Listed at a whopping $20 but they discounted it to a bit more reasonable $15 ($6-8 ebay/amazon but takes time). Unfortunately this setup didn't work for me (likely the PSU rather than their adapter). I came back the next day and they were kind enough to give me a full refund. Also, while browsing their GPUs and not overly impressed with their pricing, the owner/manager told me the listed price is outdated as they drop their prices as soon as the distributors drop the wholesale price. I don't know if the larger retailers do this or if there's a lag but I"d definitely look to support smaller locals showing good business practices like this.

TECs is undoublty THE place to visit if you are experiencing any hardship with your devices. Harry and Mostafa are not only extremely knowlegable technicians that are highly-trained in their fields, but also have hearts of gold and will go above and beyond in solving any difficulties caused by technological issues. They care deeply about the work they do and are highly dependable and respectable people. I have personally experienced a lot difficulties due to my laptop breaking down and they have gone out of their way to resolve and mitigate these issues. I cannot thank them enough for the work they have done and I have never been so deeply impressed by the passion and care they have demonstrated over the brief course I have known them. If I ever experience any technical difficulties or simply want to purchase any electronic devices I know where to visit from now on. Thank you guys so much!!

I have a 10 year old Samsung laptop that was running out of space on the C: drive. (I know I should get a new laptop but I’m comfortable with my current laptop and it suits my laptop requirements right now.) Anyway, I brought my laptop into Tecs and confirmed an a memory upgrade was possible. A new C: drive with one terabyte of memory was special ordered for me. Within 24 hours from my initial contact with Tecs, my computer was ready for pickup with more than enough memory for my needs for years to come. For the actual repair, i worked with Sammy. Sammy thoroughly communicated to me immediately after the new hard drive was received and gave me a phone call shortly before my laptop was ready for pickup. Prices were reasonable. I was very pleasantly surprised

Purchased a laptop from here during my university. At that time, Mick was really helpful and provided assistance with order. I remember getting great service including product shipping from Melbourne to ACT. So after nearly 10 years when I decided to upgrade my laptop, Tecs was the first place I contacted. It was very nice to know that Mick was still there. Mick followed up with the stock enquiry, questions regarding products. Mostafa was another person who provided excellent service when Mick was not around! They even shipped the product for overnight delivery which was a nice surprise. It was really great experience to purchase another device from here, I would consider Tecs for any computer related purchases.

Came in late in the afternoon looking for very specific parts (which I had already pre-determined) as I was going to buy them online, but wanted to see if I could get them in person. Expectedly they didn't have them, this wasn't an issue as I didn't expect anyone to have these parts in stock. But the staff member was incredibly friendly, coming out from behind the counter to hunt around with me, helping with questions and deliberating over parts choices, while sharing personal anecdotes, made me feel like they were more personable and approachable. (Cant remember who this was, a tall young guy with short, light coloured hair, give him a pat on the back)

I was blown away by the quality of care and support from the Tecs staff. Literally every staff member handled my queries (and there were many queries ha) earnestly and promptly. I had a lot of questions about building a PC, and each one was answered, and more information and recommendations given on top of that. After the PC was purchased, shipped, and received, I was assured by the technical staff that I was encouraged to ask questions, get in touch any time, and engage them for support as I needed it. I am grateful to Mick, Alin, Mustafa, Connor, Harry and the rest of the team, and I trust I have found my go-to PC shop from now on. 10/10 recommend.

I am very pleased with the experience here for the last few days. Mostafa especially so patient with me spending time researching, answering questions in person and via phone calls, helping me test and set up the new pc, then landing a great deal at a fair price at the end that is just amazing and I'm so appreciative towards him and the store. This means a lot for a first-timer owning a pc and setting one up with no experience. My mum ordered (for me) an Infinity O5-4R7G5-888 laptop on Tecs' online store, the next day she got a call from the shop asking if we were going to be home for it to be delivered later that day, when she confirmed we would, the person on the phone (I think his name was Mick) said that he'll see if he could get someone to deliver it to us before 5:30pm, otherwise it would arrive the following day. He actually delivered it personally the same day he called & I met with him outside the front of my house and recieved the laptop. Very good service, & the laptop was exactly as advertised on their online store, and so far it's working brilliantly.

Came at the beginning of the week to repair my computer as I had problems booting up. Mostafa was extremely professional and friendly. He and the team went above and beyond. Not only did they repair my PC (motherboard replacement), they took it a step further and repaired my fan positioning, took out uneeded brackets, secured my loose SSDs, gave me new screws for the panels, and gave a thing a good clean. They calledme everyday to update me, and even fixed a issue regarding USB recognition which i wasn't even aware of. A massive thanks to Mostafa and the team!

They must be good they don't need business, went in to enquire about a computer repair. One person serving, so I waited and just watched the other employee playing on their phone. Great service if you're willing to wait for the one employee to help, I assume he's good as it looks like he's doing the majority of the work. But you'll get frustrated just waiting and watching the other guy not care that you're there, I left without even so much as a "hello" or a "be with you shortly"

I had an excellent experience with Tecs. I was in a rush to find anti-static bags for shipping microcontroller devices interstate. Nowhere in Melbourne had them. But they pulled together what they had and I bought it for a much discounted price. They were a lifesaver in my time-limited situation. Not only that, their employees are fast, kind and welcoming. I had a warm first experience with them and I highly recommend them to anyone else.

I cannot speak highly enough of these guys, I'm here in hospital and I needed a laptop ASAP, I rang them and asked if it could be delivered to the hospital the same day and they couldn't get a courier to do it so the big boss man himself came and delivered it to me himself, now that is what you call customer service, going above and beyond for a customer, thank you so much to the the whole team for making it happen.

The salesmen are very helpful and apparently professional in what they do. I am a university student who has to perform a lot of work that involves using softwares that require a laptop to be efficient. It was my fault NOT knowing an external graphics card won’t work on a laptop (to boost its graphics output), but they allowed me to get it 90% refunded with a charge of 10% restocking fee (for sending it back). Honestly I am satisfied with this solution, 10% is a reasonable price to pay for my lack of basics. As your customer for once, I appreciate the care, regards.

Helpful staff here who helped me with upgrading some parts of my laptop. My laptop was older so we weren't sure if the parts in store would work, but they reassured me we could try it out and I only needed to pay if the upgrade succeeded. My friend also brought in their laptop with one port that was a bit winky, and they agreed to help fix it up at no extra cost.

Got an MSI gaming laptop from Tecs a year ago for a decent price. The laptop battery was draining far too quickly, so I returned it to take a look at it. They replaced the battery in a very reasonable amount of time, technician called me personally the same day it arrived to arrange a up pickup. Overall, nice business, highly recommend.

I had my MSI GS66 laptop repaired here twice. Once was for the WIFI card, and another for the speakers. They damaged the strews on the back panel both times. Now, I can't open it up myself. Products were okay though.
