All buyers beware! Before buying any vehicle from this dealer make sure you get the Carfax and have an engine oil sample sent to a lab to test for viscosity and metal in the oil. If it had a fresh oil change drive it for a good while then get the oil sample and send it to a lab.. Whatever you buy if something goes wrong this dealer will offer you absolutely zero help. He might tell you where you can go get a good deal and connect you with his work contacts to assist you but trust me you will get the shaft in the end. We bought a 2008 BMW 335I with only 75,000 miles on it from this dealer and four days later it blew an engine. The dealer tried to blame my son for the engine damage although he took a test drive with my son and said absolutely nothing to us about our son driving poorly so my guess is he is now trying to cover his ass because he got caught.. Also, our son has been driving a Honda S2000 for over three years now. He never had a damn problem with that and anyone that knows cars knows what the S2000 can do. So for this dealer to even try to blame our son is absolutely ludicrous! Furthermore, the dealer said the car was inspected at “Carol Autowerks“ In Jacksonville prior to us buying it. We had the car sent there for inspection after the engine blew and I specifically asked a gentleman by the name of Travis at Carroll Autowerks if there is anything that our son could have done to cause the damage. His response was and I quote “these cars are meant for racing and there is nothing your son could have done to cause the damage”. This dealer will respond to my comment and tell you he offered me help. His offering to help was telling me he found a $1500 engine on craigslist. But, he did not offer to pay for a single penny of anything. This guy is an absolute crook and I promise you that if you buy a car here you better get a third-party warranty because if something goes wrong he will not lift a finger to help you. He is buying cars at the Orlando auctions and bringing them to Jacksonville where the market price is higher. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau which is how we found out he tried to blame our son for the engine damage. Do yourself a favor if you purchase a BMW from here or anywhere take it to Bavarian Rennsport in Jacksonville for inspection. Those guys are professional and not tied to this dealer whatsoever. More comments will follow from myself and my family to further explain what we have been through. This is only the beginning.

Alex and his wife were great to work with. Never once felt pressure like the typical big brands have. Alex was extremely knowledgeable about every car he was selling because he truly love cars. You can see the decor in his office of the tracks he’s been too and the cars he’s owned. Now let’s talk about the customer service!!!! Unfortunately, 2 weeks after I bought my BMW X5d I was hit and the car was totaled. I Planned to register it back home but insurance wanted it in FL to speed up the process. Sent 1 text to Alex and he was on it! He said he never done it after a sale but he figure it out! Not only did he find out but made multiple trips to the DMV for me. I waited for him to say this will be $Xxx in “dealer fees” but I never heard a word. Except that it’s done and you’re good to go. I even mentioned I might need him to find me a new car and he said, “you just tell me what you want and I’ll get it!” Can’t thank him enough and when I’m buying again I’ll be calling.

I had been looking for a E92 BMW M3 for quite awhile, while they are out there it’s hard to find a good example for a decent price. I found one listed on Craigslist that looked good but was further away than I would have liked. I spoke to the seller several times, and was impressed with his knowledge and openness of the details on the car, and general demeanor-not a typical “car salesman” type. After literally looking all over the state and being disappointed over and over again, I made the trek to Jacksonville to check out the car at Terra Motors. It turned out to be all that Alex said it was, a really nice car in great shape! The whole process went well from start to finish, very smooth. I really appreciated that Alex actually demonstrated the car and its features on the test drive, a very valuable thing on modern performance cars. My experience with Alex and Terra Motors has been great, I highly recommend buying from him!

Alex's level of integrity, service, and pride in what he does made my car buying experience with Terra Motors a dream. I was unable to come to Jacksonville to inspect and buy the car, so we took care of the whole transaction by phone and email. I took a leap of faith and sent him the money, trusting that the car would be in as good of condition as described, and that it would show up at all! My faith was rewarded. Even after the sale, he insisted on putting on new brake pads and rotors and having it detailed. He kept in touch over the next week, and when there was a hiccup with the transportation service, even offered to spend a day driving it to me. None of this would have been possible with 99% of dealers out there. He is upstanding man with a passion and pride in his cars. Alex, next time I'm car shopping, I'm coming to Terra Motors!

I wish I could give Alex 10 stars this guy is Amazing . He does not tell you what you want to hear he tells you what he KNOWS ! The quality of these Exoctic beauties are exceptional and the prices are fair .And he knows alot about these beautiful machines he sells. The Attention to detail his knowledge of these Imports is very important to the buyer . This was my first Mercedes Benz and he explained things to me and showed me things that made me feel very comfortable. I grew up in the muscle car era with chevelles , Camaro GTOs and he is knowable about those cars as well. Alex went well beyond my expectations stayed late to make sure I got into my beautiful Benz that evening , he answer his phone eveytime personally . I had been looking for a clean, low mileage Mercedes SL500 for a few months when I found one for sale at Terra Motors. I called and asked a lot of questions about the car, all of which were answered upfront and honestly. Living in Atlanta, I was a bit apprehensive to buy a one-way plane ticket to Florida to see the car, but from one enthusiast to another Alex assured me that the car was up to par. I flew to Jacksonville the next morning and Alex was true to his word, the SL was unbelievely clean for almost 18 years old. We completed the paperwork quickly and I was on my way to Atlanta in less than two hours. I paid a fair price and got an amazing car that's not going to decrease in value. I would definitely buy here again!

These people listed themselves in the private section of Craigslist instead of the dealer section. Wasted my time driving to where they're at only find out what they truly are. If they are this deceptive from the onset, then they are someone not to do business with. Conniving hucksters are what they are. If you run this place and decide to respond to me, answer this question: why don't you list yourself under the "dealer" section when it specifically states in the "owner" section NO DEALERS? You're trying to trick people. That's why. Response to the owner: I don't work for any of your competition. As proof of your deceitful tactics, all people have to do is look at Craigslist themselves. Who's fake now?

Terra Motors was an extreme disappointment. I purchased a BMW 740 I from North Carolina, over the phone. I was extremely skeptical to make a 15 thousand dollar purchase via the phone, without looking at the car first. But after speaking to them and being reassured that the car was in perfect condition, I bought it. Upon arrival, I realized a major oil leak. I took it to the BMW dealership for repair and 2 oil leaks and a faulty turbo and $6,000 later....the car was finally good to go. 2 months later, a different leak appeared. I sold the car for a really low price and lost tons of money on it. These people are NOT trustworthy and sell faulty cars. Beware.

I bought a 2011 Ford raptor from Alex a couple months ago and the vehicle was exactly as described. I like that Alex drives the vehicles he sells to review them for any issues that may be hidden from auction. Thank Alex for your help and honesty. Also I reviewed the one star review and dobt Alex was wrong. Just a FYI you should always do regular car maintenance after a purchase. When I bought the truck I changed the oil, cleaned the air filter and checked my belts right after purchase and scheduled a transmission fluid change and inspection with a friend of mine. Previous car purchased: Great Service! flew over the weekend to pick up an M3 from Alex at Terra Motors LLC, not only the price was right but the car was exactly as described. Alex pick me up at the hotel, had all the paperwork ready and got me on my way in less than 30 minutes. Definitely not the last car I'll buy from him.

Don't buy from Alex. He sells junk and has no clue of the condition of his vehicles. He has no problem telling you a vehicle is working properly and well maintained without actually knowing if that's a fact. My car didn't even make it off the lot before it broke down and he refuses to take the vehicle back. Don't listen to the others, this is just another shady used car dealer.
