Roger with Texans Choice, insures both my business, and my home on the beach, in Port Aransas, TX. Hurricane Harvey, a CAT 4 Hurricane, destroyed Port Aransas in August 2017. I am still seeing and hearing the horrible stories about insurance companies, from my neighbors, friends, and fellow business owners, who are STILL waiting for Payment- after 2 yrs?!!! I received full payment for damages, prompt, and without issue, and I received a personal call, literally, when I was driving to evacuate with my dogs, to personally reassure me that my home was covered for any loss and that I need not worry, that the only irreplaceable things were with me in that car. I will never forget that call. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to insure my home in the beach, or my business, as a business owner. The professionalism, and personal touch makes Texans Choice stand out and way above all others .

I've used Texasn's Choice Insurance for quite some time now for my auto policy and brought my home policy over to Roger as well after several years of being only auto. The good: Roger is very knowledgeable and will always shop for you to be sure that you have great coverage at the most affordable rate/premium you can get for that level of coverage. The bad: Roger can sometimes be hard to reach. However, I keep in the back of my mind that I'm not his only customer and I deal with it. However, I've had to remind him a few times of my calls or why I called. That's primarily the reason for the 4 stars vs 5. However, since I've been using him for my insurance, he's also brought on Ruth. She's great to speak with, courteous, professional, and has really grown into the role from when I first spoke with her.

We have multiple rental properties so having the right agent is very important You need someone you can Trust and who is looking out for you; not for themselves. Roger is that agent. He returns calls ; will give you his time and will answer your questions. He is like family to us ; not just out agent. Their ability to shop for the best coverage with the best price AND their helpful customer service is why we keep coming back! You can't ask for better service. I love that this is an independent insurance agency so you are guaranteed options. I used Roger when I bought my first house and loved the service I received so soon after switched my car insurance over. When I got married my husband joined me at Texans Choice as well. Then at some point Roger hired Ruth and she's just wonderful. We have since moved and are at a different state. If they had served this area we would have stayed with them. Bad service, I needed a very special quote and they told me they would get it for me in a week or less and after two months they told me they can’t help. The worst part is that I was very patient but the staff told me every time I called to ask that they will call me back with some info and never got a call! Not even once.
