Always delightful - I get takeaway from here frequently and eat in when guests come to town; the food is top-notch (their Choo Chee Prawns are the best around, and their Drunk's Noodles rock) and the service is friendly. Highly recommend!

Vegetarian options
I'm pescatarian, but I often order their vegetarian options and they're always delicious. I particularly love their Vegetarian Drunk's Noodles (Pad Kee Mao). Because I'm not strictly vege, I haven't asked whether there's oyster sauce or anything in those, but I'm sure they'd be accommodating if someone wanted to make a change.

I've never had trouble parking there for dinner - during the day could be more of an issue, but there's quite a bit of parking for Forestville Shopping Centre, especially down in the Coles car park.
Kid-friendliness
A friend of mine visits every few months from the UK with her two primary school aged children, and the restaurant has always been fine for them - no concerns about ordering a small dish to share (they're small eaters), etc. Seems to be a nice balance of being fine for kids to join the table but not purely for "families" (which can be offputting for those without kids).
Wheelchair accessibility
I dine here with my mother fairly regularly, and the team is always very accommodating of her wheelchair. There is one small step on the way in; she is able to step up that and go back to her chair straightaway inside, but some wheelchair users might not be able to.

First time trying this local Thai restaurant and was looking forward to a takeaway as I don’t get one that often There was a mix up with my order so had to go back out to get the right order. My daughter felt not well in the night after her meal also I am not a complainer but felt like I needed to review the restaurant On the up side my food when I got to eat the correct order was delicious Not sure if I will be going back though

Ordered delivery from restaurant, which included satay chicken skewers and pad Thai. The chicken was undercooked and raw. When calling the store they told us we needed to pay again for them to refund the amount just for the satay chicken skewers. Firstly we would have paid double for the pad Thai and secondly to not even offer a full refund on the whole meal. Will NEVER order here again.

For some reason Forestville is home to some of the most authentic and delicious foods out there and Thai Garlic is definitely one of those. The service is was at times a little slow the food was delivered promptly. The curry's and laksa's are absolutely delicious and the rice cooked to fluffy perfection. If your not in the mood for a kebab or pizza I would highly recommend Thai Garlic for an exceptional dining experience.

Fantastic Thai food in forestville! I come here very often for dine in and takeaway and they provide a wide range of fresh tasting foods with gluten free and vegan options too!! The cooks are not fussy with cooking certain things for you and everyone is so kind and courteous of your needs. Probably eat here twice a week. Definitely recommend the curry puffs and drunk noodles!

What a place! Stumbled here by chance and was absolutely blown away by not only the quality, but the service for the price. Take a look at these free prawn crackers and satay sauce, at least you could've done but they were demolished because of their deliciousness. Anyone who has left a review under 5 stars doesn't know authentic food at a great price.

my buddy Eric always says "life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get". This quote does not relate to Thai garlic. I know what I'm going to get. Amazing food and high quality service. the food is constantly fantastic. The kitchen hand is also amazing at his job.

Thai Garlic offers phenomenally good food. The yellow curry is just divine, everything else we had was also truly good. It's Thai food at its best. The restaurant is relatively small and does have quite a nice and cosy atmosphere. The one star I subtracted is for the prices that certainly are on the very upper limit of the spectrum.

Used to love this restaurant but not any more. The food has recently been disappointing. Was delivered to the incorrect address twice this time and 90 mins late. Ordered gluten free as a coeliac but it wasn’t. Now face 3-5 days of being sick. Thanks Thai Garlic! Will not be coming back or recommending you to anyone.

Went there with my friend. She got the Thai laksa with duck. We believe she got food poisoning. She first threw up in the middle of the night. Told me before her tummy felt strange and queasy. On a lesser note, when the time came to order the bill, we were charged incorrectly...I wouldn’t go there ever again.

This is a hidden gem in Allambie! Best mixed entree I've ever had and the stir fry's are fresh and full of flavour. All servings were generous, especially the masaman beef. Service was excellent and the food came out very quickly! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed!

Totally dishonest owner. I ordere a take away noodle - on the lunch menu it says $11. She told me $19! When I challenged her, she tried to cover it up and told me the extra $8 was for takeaway? I am all for supporting the locals, but Not if they try to rip you off

Had lunch here and ordered a veg drunken noodle. Had good taste and aroma. Portion was more generous than others I've seen. Cost $11 which was a pleasant surprise as I was looking at their online menu which noted $14.90 or so. Friendly service, nice restaurant.

Entree was good, but had to put in bin BBQ Beef no one in family could chew this ,this should not be allowed out of a restaurant today, not to mention one of our mains BBQ Chicken did not turn up, this is not the first time dishes are missing. Never again.

Best Thai jungle curry on the northern beaches. Good service, and value.

Have been coming here for years. The food is hit and miss. I think it depends who is in the kitchen. I’ve tried a lot the dishes and sometimes they are abit better than average and sometimes they are a bit worse than average.

The food is good but even though they are meant to accept Dine vouchers, apparently "that function is only available on the manager's phone who isn't here" so we couldn't use it. I won't bother going again.

I ordered Thai Laksa with duck, but the duck was too salty I couldn't eat it at all. I had to swapped Pad Thai with my husband but still, the foods taste doesn't feel right. Maybe not my lucky day.

Stopped in for lunch. $13 for a green curry and a coke...I wasn't expecting much but it was really tasty and really fresh. Absolutely worth stopping in if you're in the area.
