I have been a customer with The athlete’s shoes fountain gate since 2015, bought at least 6 pair shoes from the store. Previous experience was always great, being looked after and got fitted shoes and nice design. I were excited to come to the store to buy new pair of shoes for work yesterday, maybe something new design shoes because I recently received the mobile message about new hoka runner. 3-4 staff were just standing and chatting with others, not even acknowledged the customers. My husband had to go to approach them to ask for help. The sale staff Victoria was not helpful no initiative in sells, “don’t care attitude” when I said I would like to buy a new design with similar support that I have with previous shoes. She did not offer or advise what they have in store, single answer provided when I asked question. At the end, I purchased new pair with old design. Being honest, love the quality of products in The athlete’s shoes. However I am disappointed with the service yesterday.

Absolutely excellent service, total focus on the customer and the best possible fit. Went with my Mum who had been having a lot more back pain than normal. She walked out in her new shoes and only 45-60 minutes later remembered that she was wearing brand new shoes! (Even her Podiatrist was very pleased with the shoes chosen for her!) She's worn them almost constantly since purchase. Not inexpensive, but 100% worth it - especially the extensive, multi-point fitting. [I was also pleased with my purchase, fitting, etc., but a bad ankle made walking less comfortable - though a 100% improvement on what I'd been wearing!] If you are having foot, ankle, knee or hip trouble, and even lower back pain? There is very little (from a non-medical/-medicinal perspective) that you can do for yourself that will have greater impact than getting properly fitted shoes/sneakers - that has been my experience - and very few places fit properly, any more. They do here.

Every time I go there I get really good customer service. The first time was when my son needed his first school shoes and the staff member was amazing with him. The fitting service is great and it’s kept on file. I take both my kids there when they need new shoes and just recently went there for myself. I was shopping for new runners and the staff member really knew his stuff about runners and running. I’m so happy with my purchase and my experience there. If I could give more than five stars I would!

Emily who fitted me for my new Hoka shoes was extremely obliging and went to the nth degree. I am a 76 year old woman who has metatarsalgia and required a specific shoe recommended by my Orthopaedic Specialist. I visited other sport shoe outlets who basically left me to my own devices in trying to choose the right shoe. The Athletes Foot and their staff do an excellent job. Well done 1010

Worst service ever, was trying on shoes and wanted to purchase, the girl literally started serving someone else while I was talking to he then I had to wait while she walked them through the sizing. I ordered a $300 pair and was told a few days after a week I left 3 messages, 5 phone calls and not a peep out of them. Do your self a favour and save the hassle, go somewhere else.

I have been trying to buy new runners for about a month! And I just found it overwhelming every single time! I walked into a few other shops they were no help! Today Ish served me and he was amazing!! Remembered my baby’s name. nothing was a a hassle I actually had a voucher for another shop but bought from here instead because he was beyond helpful! Highly recommend!

I was served by a trainee, named Alina. She did an amazing job. We went through the usual fitting process which was easy. I gave her a budget and she came out with 3 pairs of shoes, 1 was over budget. I ended up buying the most expensive because Alina was extremely helpful, showed what I needed and she was very kind. Recently purchased a pair of New Balance work shoes. Very happy with my purchase. Basically like normal sports shoes but with steel caps. The best-looking pair I have ever purchased. Not cheap. But, definitely worth the money First time since I was in primary school that I have been measured for shoes. Well worth a visit

I was measured a size 10. And given a size 11 !!! No reason. I reckon because they did not have my size in the colour i wanted. Sell, sell ? On returning the pair of shoes the following day. No apology. Was then offered a size 10.5 ? Honestly not happy. Need to return again to pick up my pair of 10 shoes. Pretty disappointed

Super impressed with Jeremy's knowledge and helpfulness today in store. Unfortunatley he didn't have the size I needed for daughter so I purchased elsewhere, but he gave me great advice and was super helpful. I just wanted to share my thanks for such wonderful service as you don't get it alot these days.

What a fantastic experience. I was fitted by Husna A and her friendly polite nature was amazing along with her knowledge of fitting the right footwear. I can not speak highly enough of Husna and AF and l walked out with the most comfortable fitting pair of Runners.
