This place usually caters to a certain crowd of individuals that frequent this establishment. With this slum version of "Cheers" type of atmosphere it can make new people feel ignored (more by the bartender than by other patrons) or not part of some inside joke. On the upside, it is right at two different types of public transportation: the bus and the L. If you're driving I believe that you have to pay for it along the street and finding parking within one block of this bar can be difficult during the popular times to go to a pub. Moreover, the drinks are not too expensive but I think they are too pricey for this not so classy hole in the wall. I do know several people who frequent this place often as a meeting spot to start their evening before going somewhere else. So if all you want is to sit down and grab a quick beer or other drink this is your place but do not expect to socialize since most of the people who frequent this establishment already know each other for the most part. I think that they have a bathroom but don't quote me on this and it would be for paying patrons only. They do not allow smoking inside so there is often a crowd of people sitting on the step to the entrance smoking cigarettes, so if that is something that bothers you- be prepared.

Love this place. The owner and the barkeeps are wonderful people. You can order your food in as they don't serve food. Also a couple of Taco Joints nearby. Next door to the Pink Line. Awesome Beer Selection. Beer in rotation too, so you get new stuff every week. Funnily named Cocktails. Good Music. The number of Flatscreens is only 3-4, so you won't get ALL the games, but the local game is always on. One extra point, all Beer on tap is local, microbrewed stuff only. A generous selection of botled and canned beer rounds out the selection. A decent selection of spirits too. Owner likes to carry American made spirits mostly, so a lot of bourbon and Koval etc. Not too much European stuff like Scotch and Cognac.Also no Wine to speak of, but who the hell wants to drink wine in a dive bar. This place also has a Packaged Goods license, so you can order/take beer to go. What's not to like.

Kinda of a hole in wall . bartenders pretend to be artisans in mixed drinks. Beer selection average. Would recommend harbees for great selection.. Just average like a young guy martins corner. Owner has blocked spanish and rap music because it bring a certain kind of people around. Ask him about it in spanish... On a side note if you post photos on google the staff has them removed. Thats why you dont see anything real in the piks... A review that starts off with GREAT STAFF are usually written by the staff.

Owner is terrible. He bands people for no reason. He smokes in the bar. Drives customers away. I have never been so mistreated in my life for saying a joke that the bartender was laughing about. Then get banned. Even though the two people with me who won't go back now said I was never out of line. I work with the public and am on the board of the city. I will.make sure to let everyone know about how bad of a businessman the owner George is. It's illegal to smoke in a public place and he breaks that law.

I missed the Pace bus so I went in for a drink. Orders bourbon, 1792 on the rocks, bartender stated he could not serve me the bar was empty, he stated I had to wear a mask while I drank my drink. Well I left. How does one have a mask on and drink out of a glass. No wonder the don't have anyone in the bar. Recommend everyone go elsewhere.

Pretty cool spot that I don't patron nearly enough as I literally live a block away. They have a pretty good craft selection with decent prices. Definitely start off with "the business". Its a PBR and a shot of Jameson for 5 bucks. That's pretty sweet. Staff are friendly and people are cool. I'll be sure to check come in more often

The most divey dive bar I’ve ever been to. You get a real meaty slice of genuine Chicago people when you walk in here. The air is thick with the stench of wet beer farts, but nobody coming here seems to care. Pretty sure the bathroom is used exclusively for snorting powders and nothing else. Fantastic experience 10/10.

The best rock bar in Pilsen! Awesome music. Awesome owners. The Bartenders is what makes the place comfortable. Great attitude even when super busy. There not frustrated or mad dog face. Walking into this bar is like walking into a party that everyone is real cool with everyone. All bars should be just like this one.

Friendly, fun, generous staff and exciting selection of local craft beers on tap, and extensive bourbon and whiskies. Good place to pick up packaged goods. No one complains when I play the jukebox, and they will play Chicago Fire games on the TV upon request. FYI: cash only, atm on site.

Great local dive with a great bar team! Good selection of house cocktails for very competitive prices. Relatively small space with about a dozen seats at the bar and 3 tables in the back. They have live music some nights as well. Really can't say enough about this awesome spot!

Full of locals. Great place to chill and chat with friends and other patrons. Place is cash only but there is an atm inside. They welcome you to bring your own food as well. They have great selection of rotating draft beers, canned and bottled beer, and whiskey.

Walked in on a rainy holiday night when everyone else was closed. The bartender was very nice and helpful even though the place was packed. They have a large microbrew selection, but you can still drink cheap if you're a "PBR and a shot" person.

It is a dive bar, but one of the best in his way. You go there you drink beer, watch baseball and cheat chat here and there. Sometimes it is just what you need and it is just in front of ramen pink line stop.

Always a good spot. We live in the near western suburbs and find ourselves stopping by here on the way home. Down to earth, great service, good beer list and cocktails. Try the your my boy blue! So good.

This is authentic Chicago flavor. Tiny little local dive bar, provides interesting people watching, on nonsense service, and the occasional dog stealing your seat.
