I got lash extensions here a few months ago and the women serving me (I don't know if it was the first or the second) literally glued a lash to my eyeball with adhesive. It was an accident, but didn't make it any less traumatic for my first time. The first lady didn't speak English all that well got irritated when I started panicking because I couldn't open my eyes because she hadn't separated my bottom lashes from the top, and then made another woman complete the set for her. I found that incredibly unprofessional and I felt extremely embarrassed throughout the entire session, even though the first woman didn't actually walk me through the process, so I was naturally scared and confused. The second woman however was really kind and patient with me, walked me through the process and reassured me that I was going to be okay. She was the reason I'm giving this place two stars rather than one. Still, when I opened my eye and saw a lash glued to the white of my eye, it took every single iota of energy in my body not to completely freak out and have a panic attack. The only thing that kind of held me in place from doing so was the fear that I'd inconvenience the staff further because I was treated rather coldly by the first woman. Nonetheless, they ended up getting rid of the lash and I'm not blind in one eye, so there's that at least... The lashes turned out nice and I got a lot of compliments on them, but they were slightly uneven (even though you probably couldn't tell unless you were incredibly close. But perhaps I'm just being pedantic)... But still, I felt rather reluctant handing over my money to them by the end of it all. I feel like I'd be going here again out of obligation because I don't know any other good places... They do good eyebrow tinting though. I introduced my mother to the service, and she always leaves satisfied, so that's the reason I'll be adding a third star.

This was my usual eyebrow place but I will never ever come back here again. Firstly, I had asked the therapist to be careful because the time I went there before she waxed off too much hair under the start of my eyebrow and I was working on growing it back. The therapist goes to show me her work and once I look in the mirror I see that the end of my left eyebrow is missing. I confront her about it and she says that it was always like that, she ended up giving me a $3 discount, to me this highlights that she noticed the mistake she made without apologising or admitting her fault, if she had of done so I wouldn’t have written this review and I might have even gone back. I ended up leaving the brow place because I have confrontation and complaining however I couldn’t stop looking at it, it was so noticeable. I went back and apologised and said I never complain and I was very kind about it I just wanted a refund. She tried to gaslight me and say it was always like that and wanted me to show her photo proof because she didn’t do it, u did show her a photo and she tried to tell me it was my right eyebrow. I got frustrated and left and I told her I will never ever come back. They have lost a customer of 4 years. If you want to loose half an eyebrow, this is the place to go

Terrible experience, I had a eyebrow threading and was left with half an eyebrow on one side and 3/4 of an eyebrow on the other , I asked the lady (Isha) to fix it and she went to take off even more of my brows, she had then started to say how she probably had more experience than me in Australia and that I didn’t know what I was doing or asking for , and threatened to call security when I had asked her to fix my brows and when I had asked her if I could get a number of someone who could fix it she went on to saying how I should go do some work and get it from the website myself. Was acting quite arrogant. And went on to say how she didn’t care if I get in touch with the owner or left a review. Also highly unhygienic, she had finished something and hadn’t even sanitised and started on mine. Unprofessional and Unhygienic Wouldn’t recommend unless you want your eyebrows in a terrible shape.

I had a Brazilian wax at this business earlier this week and the environment was extremely unprofessional and unhygienic. I was not provided with pre wax cleaning and the beautician repeatedly tried to rip off the wax before it hardened which resulted in a piece of my skin being ripped off. The beautician also rudely pointed out my skin condition and when I stated it was a condition she simply screwed up her face and scoffed as if she thought it was contagious. When I was getting dressed after the wax, the beautician proceeded to set up the room (while I was still in the room) for the next client which consisted of only changing the mesh sheet on top of the bed without any sanitation or anything. Overall I do not recommend this business at all and definitely will not be returning again.

Have been coming here for ages and never had a bad experience until yesterday (24/02) when I got my eyebrows threaded and lashes tinted. I'd never had the girl that did them before, my eyebrows were okay but she took off so much when I just wanted them cleaned up. When doing my lash tint, she kept telling me I was blinking too much. I said I'd only had it done once before and she just continued on as she was, obviously when my eyes are closed and getting randomly touched out of nowhere, I'm going to blink. At some point the guards moved and I got dye in my eyes, she told me it was because I was blinking too much and must be insecure. She did offer to redo it but I don't think I'll be returning again.

had my brows threaded here and my upper lip waxed. the lady threading my brows cut a whole chunk out, missed so many hairs and also did not remove any of my upper lip hair. she did not take her time and further did not even give me the mirror to check how it looked. when waxing, she only did one wax strip, which is not what i usually experience here. i then realized what she had done and asked for a refund, to which she said they don’t do. after telling her i am a loyal customer of 5 years (and sobbing) she gave me my $22 back. however i will NEVER be returning. this lady was new to the shop, but this does not excuse her awful job. so disappointed.

Do not go here. I got a brow wax, brow tint and eyelash tint. I asked for "light brown" tint. See for yourself in the photo, it's very dark and it looks ridiculous with my red hair. Then when I saw the wax I could see it was very uneven with one brow much thicker than the other. I could even still see my blonde hairs that weren't tinted. I pointed it out and said it's uneven and the lady simply said "no" and didn't fix it. Terrible service and they clearly aren't professional beauty therapists. It's cheap but you're better off going to a proper salon because I had to buy wax to fix it myself at home. Went at 3pm Sunday 2nd April.

Don’t make the same mistake as i did. I went here and they ended up ruining my thick eyebrows. They are my signature look. I went in to get my eyebrow threads done, only to remove the little extra ones and shape them. And she ended up making my eyebrows so thin. One is obviously a lot thinner than the other and they don’t look the same. And when I questioned her she said that she didn’t take much. I know my eyebrows better than anyone. And I am known to have thick eyebrows. She ruined them. Don’t go here. This one star is generous.

I visited the store at 12:30ish and that lady did my eyebrows so quickly and so rough that my skin around my eyes were burning for almost 1 hour. Idk if she is rushing for her lunch. She even didn’t care to shape the end of eyebrows and after eyebrows threading normally at other place they ask if I m satisfied with the shape or not. But that lady left all the eyebrow cut on my face and went to register and asked me if I want to pay by card. Never going to visit again. Guys Don’t do eyebrow threading from them.

The only beautician in the parlour was on the phone gossiping and told me to wait till she was finished and didn’t understand why I wasn’t willing to wait for her to finish talking to her friends. Never coming back Edit in response to owner reply: Why are you asking for the location? I reviewed the specific parlour! How does that not tell you the location? Also, if I provide you my phone number, will I be paid for providing additional feedback? Or do you expect me to work for free?

I was there on Wednesday (24/01) to do my eyebrows threading. It was busy and only 1 lady there at that time. She did her job on hurry and not carefully. After 4-5 minutes she done with me and move straight to other customer without asking me that am i happy with that or anything. It was so painful, bleeding and crushed. Also it was not even nice! The only thing that i am happy is that shop looks clean and pretty. Reasonable price. But i dont think that i will come back here again!

Warning! The worst experience in the 20years that Ive been getting my brows waxed. The Brow Technician smeared wax 2 -3 inches ABOVE my brow line!! She waxed half of my forehead!! I have thin fair hair and this was completely unnecessary. When I freaked out and complained she told me that I was wrong and this is how eyebrows should be waxed. I was mortified SO shocked. so if you decide to get treatment here you may want to clarify that you don't want your forehead waxed......

Impromptu visit to Northland and I didn’t book a waxing appointment at my usual place but the ladies here accommodated waxing walk-ins! Service was lovely and she was very attentive. Made sure the wax wasn’t too hot and ensured it wasn’t too painful! The private room was very clean and calming and price is cheaper than Essential Beauty. Missing one star only because she wasn’t too sure on leg positions for the umm… more hard to reach areas but no biggie. I will still return!

Do not go here! Absolutely terrible. As soon as the lady was finished threading my eye brows she says “oh you need to grow some hair in this area.” I knew something was wrong right away. I take a look in the mirror and she has taken a small chunk of hair out of the inner corner of my eye brow. After I told here I have always had hair in this spot she continued to blame it on no hair growth and STILL charged me! Absolutely appalled and never going back!

No customer service. I walked in waited 5min at the counter no one even looked at me instead avoided me. Later a girl not even looking at me said please take a seat. I waited for 30 min. Saw 3 women who were waiting next to me leave. I guess they got tired of waiting too. Ultimately lost my patience and left. I don't mind waiting as long as we are informed and greeted well. They are not organised.

Asked for Henna tint eyebrows as I’m very allergic and got normal tint. I specifically told her I’m allergic to the tint and I’m fine with henna. Paid $45 for Henna eyebrow tint and got $15 allergic tint. My eyebrows have become so itchy where they are as red as anything as well as ouzing out like a puss. I will be contacting the northland store for full refund.

Used to be great but newer staff are incredibly rude. Turned up at 17.05 to be told they’re closed because they “need to clean” but their website states they close at 17.30. Update your hours or pay your staff to stay to clean AFTER hours like every other store! Won’t bother visiting again.

Absolutely delighted visiting Beauty & Brow Parlour today. Service was excellent & very welcoming. Lovely atmosphere felt very comfortable. I had threading & tinting of eyelashes & eyebrows. So happy!! If I could give more than 5 i would. I highly recommend Beauty & Brow Parlour. Cheers

I have been going here over 12 months . I see a wonderful person , her name is Gagan . She is professional , competent , patient and kind . I am very happy with her , I only ever allow Gagan to do my waxing and threading . As long as she works there , I will continue to go there !

Got my eyebrows threaded today at northlands, with tint by Kulwindar the training compliance officer she has done the best job than anyone I’ve had over the past 3 years here I am so satisfied, and so happy the new trainees will have such strong training by her

Do not use this business, asked for light brown eyebrow tint and got DARK tint that looks ridiculous with my Grey hair, also asked for eyelash tint , the girl got the tint in my eyes and now have a major eye infection, very unprofessional and unhygenic

normally i get my brows done here and nothing comes out of it. i went a few days ago and the worker was quite rude and was extremely rough. i’ve now developed a skin infection which has never occurred before and it’s embarrassing. i won’t be returning.

Got my brows waxed just to be cleaned up and honestly I’ve never been more disappointed with a service! Went home and plucked and cleaned up the rest of the stray hairs myself. Not worth it even if it is only ten dollars! Will never be going back!

Shyna just did my eyebrows and the poor woman didn’t have much to work with after the other pink threading place near Kmart BUTCHERED them a couple of months ago. This place is amazing and $5 cheaper! Will commit to going every 3/4 weeks now.

The lady at the express kiosk doesn't do a good job. I have been there twice and both the times she was too rough with my eyebrows. I end up with bruises near my brows. Doesn't happen elsewhere, I'm never going to return. Hire skilled staff!

Amit done my eyebrows treading. Was horrible, she left me with half an eye brow. Once I pointed it out she was arguing with me. Unprofessional service will never go here ever again and I don’t recommend anyone to go here either .

This shop is the best shop for threading your eyebrows the staff is extremely friendly and lovely and always very reasonably priced I always love coming here to get my eyebrows done I highly recommend this shop

Got my eyebrows done today. I got charged $15 while it was $12 for threading eyebrows written. Not sure why I was charged $3 extra. And the girl didn’t even explained me that.

They don't even ask what you are after before the start threading. I had to tell them don't thin my eyebrows, just a tidy up but she still took too much and now they're thin.

One of the girls there just blatantly doesn’t listen and does her own thing. Made my brows way thinner than I asked for and just rubbish customer service!

Asked for a eyebrow tidy up and specifically washed for them to not be any thinner...well I've now lost half my eyebrows!!! Will not be going back.
