I never thought there could be such thing as a bad massage until I went to Buckhead Massage Co. My massage room was right at the front door. Literally. Every time a customer opened the front door it sounded exactly like someone walking into the room where I was laying naked. Not relaxing. Then it was impossible not to hear every single word they said as they spoke with the front desk...I mean, I was literally 6 feet way with just particle board separating us. The "music". Loud. Perhaps they thought they could drown out the sounds of the front door and reception desk activities? It only made the overall noise level and distractions that much worse. And the music was not your typical "spa" type music. Ok, that could be just a matter of preference. However, the mutually agreed upon goal is relaxation. Right? As I tried not to hear the constant front desk conversations and front door opening (some people knocked, others barged in, I experienced all the various options) I focused on the loud music. At one point there was one 5-7 minute (felt like 20) synthesized version of what I can only describe as the undulating cheers of the crowd at soccer game. It was almost laughable. Then it suddenly got worse. They added in the sound of police sirens (I am not kidding) into the background. What playlist was this exactly? It finally started fading out, sirens being the last to peter away and then BAM! the next track was a loud piano piece that made me jump at, not only the sheer volume, but how it came out of nowhere. Now, I don't want to complain about my nice enough....um, "massage person" (she was not trained so I cannot call her masseuse) but her hands were not just untrained, but cold (again with missing the mark on "relaxing") and rough. Buckhead Massage Company, how do you justify this completely unacceptable experience? And you are not inexpensive!!! Do not go here people! I have had good and so-so massages but never, ever have I walked out of a massage thinking it was a waste of time and money.

This was my 2nd visit for a couples massage. This was my first time having a male massage therapist. My first visit here was amazing, we enjoyed every minute. This time around was no different, except my massage therapist was not what I expected. He arrived after we checked in. He didn’t say hello then and didn’t really say hello when we went back to our room. He asked about trouble areas and if there was anything to focus on, that's it. He asked me to pull my hair up but I didnt have a hair tie. He was suppose to be bringing me one, but I ended up having to go out in the hallway to ask the other masseur for a hair tie. He seemed annoyed at the other masseur. Although I did enjoy the actual massage, his demeanor and mannerisms didn’t give relaxing at all. When he was done with my massage he didn’t even say anything he just left the room. My husband told me everything was done. I didn’t like how he kept pushing down the mask on my eyes and every time I would shift my head he would turn my head back with a slight force. I was trying to look over at my husband and he turned my head. I didn’t want to make a scene, I just went with the flow because I really wanted to enjoy and relax. He seemed like he didn’t want to be working that day. He wasn’t gentle when moving my legs and arms. If I wanted to drift off into a nap, his touch was with a little force so it would wake me every time. I will definitely book again when we’re in town, but I don’t want him again for my massage. The lady my husband had, he said she was amazing.

They deserve 0 stars. I was there on the 16th and when booking shared my issue of lower back and thigh pain and asked if thier neuromuscular would be good for me I was told yes. Again I shared my pain point with therapist who was a guy don't remember his name. My massage was terrible and he did not touch my lower back or thighs and massage itself was a joke. When leaving receptionist asked how was everything and I just shook my head not wanting customers to hear my experience. I immediately called when I got in my car and told receptionist and she said I'm calling owner and either she or owner will call me back. Well no call back and today the 24th I called and spoke with receptionist and told her same story and again she said I'll call owner and one of them will get back to me today. We'll it's 6 30 and no call back again. I don't know how theyre getting 5 stars with no customer service and my therapiy was so horriblt I question if he's even licensed. Never again worst experience having to sit through a horrible massage and waste my time.

You just have to trust your gut. Firstly when I arrived I quickly noticed my husband booked me at the wrong location. That was a first flag for me because I’m good at reading atmospheres and I knew this wasn’t going to be good. My therapist came in after me which was also fairly odd. She seem to be super nonchalant and upset upon arrival because she wanted to be in a certain room that was occupied by someone else. She didn’t greet me by name she just said “hey”. When she came in I let her know I wanted my lower back mostly worked on and I can say that she did the bare minimum. She used two fingers through my whole body massage it was crazy to me. I wanted to get up and just walk out but I didn’t want her to feel as bad as I did. I went to school for esthetics and worked closely with massage therapist to know she just didn’t want to do it. Wasted money down the drain and I really needed that moment to relax and I wasn’t relaxed at all. The front desk lady and place was nice though. Reason for the 2 stars.

We went there for a highly anticipated couples massage on a nice Saturday afternoon. Our expectations were set pretty high given the $200 price tag for the hour ( for both of us). Once we entered the room and each of us were paired with a masseur, I sensed the sarcasm. I was asked “would you like to focus on a particular area of the body?” to which I responded “ what are the options?” The reply to that was a shake of the head letting me know “ like, what do you want?” Putting that aside, both me and my partner got situated in our beds after which an almost 1hr massage followed with two masseurs who modulated between applying “falling asleep” pressure on our body to applying too much pressure, with the consistent element being a pretty distant relationship to where the muscles are and how to work them. TLDR: Too expensive to have the kind of masseurs this place has. The relationship was cold (attitude) and the knowledge of how to perform a massage is weaker than an amateur’s.

This is the best massage I've ever had!! I visited the Buckhead Massage Company earlier this week and had an amazing experience. I am a new mother and have a very tight back due to nursing and expressed those concerns to my massage therapist Cheryl upon arrival. She was very receptive and focused on my back and problem areas during the massage. She used hot towels throughout and really worked the areas that were the tightest. The pressure was perfect - she would adjust based on my cues. After the massage ended, she told me about specific areas that she noted were tightest and printed out some stretching exercises to help with my discomfort. I feel so much better after my massage and will definitely be returning! Some other items to note. Their location is in the heart of Buckhead and there is plenty of complimentary parking. Their lobby and massage room were both very relaxing and clean. My whole experience was great and it's easily the best massage I've ever had!

After many shady experiences trying out massage studios, I finally found the one! You guys, it's clean, safe, parking was easy, stylish and spa-like inside AND the therapists were fantastic. Seriously. From checking in and introduction with the therapist, everything was soothing, considerate, and peaceful. I think all these elements add up to the treat yourself experience you want when you get a massage. Actual massage: Fantastic. We did a couples massage with Verona and Katie. Both did a great job. It was my SO's first time, Verona clearly explained expectations and made him feel very comfortable. Katie did a great job accommodating pressures and general massage work. I felt like I had a million dollar spa day in just a quick 60min session :) cozy sheets, warm blankets, heating pad, dim lights, good smells & sounds. Would recommend to a friend in a heartbeat. Will definitely be back!

I get MLD (MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE) here since my surgery. Ive come 3x so far and the customer service has not changed at all. They are one of the few massage spas that even offer lympathic drainage. The ladies that run the spa are very sweet and accommodating. Definitely a hidden Gem. When I am fully recovered I will definitely be back to get a regular massage. The prices are a little below average for the city (alot below average for the Buckhead area). The facility is very clean and beautifully decorated inside. They play relaxing music and every room has its own heat level (i think, they always ask me i I want the heat on). It's upstairs in a building that looks like converted old condos/apartments. Literally right next door to the restaurant Aria. THEY DO HAVE THEIR OWN FREE PARKING LOT (you do not have to spend 10mins trying to find street parking).

I wish I could give 0 stars to this place. I booked an appointment on phone for my fiancee as a surprise on her birthday. When she went there they told her that there is no such appointment even after showing the confirmation email with therapist name and time mentioned. Ruined the special day for her. They never informed before about the appointment is cancelled or not in their system. When I called them they were rude and started questioning me ton of questions like name of the person you booked the reservation(not sure why should I be knowing that) when I had a legitimate booking done from their massage center over phone. I still haven't got any response - poor customer service and bad experience from this place. Never coming back again.

If you're looking for the greatest place to get a massage here in Georgia, this is it. I drive an hour each way to this location because their services are more than worth it! As someone who was involved in a car accident, I really needed help from someone who knew what they were doing. I can honestly say this company has genuinely helped in my healing process. There's nothing like calling in to a company and them knowing exactly who you are by your first name and knowing your typical schedule times when offering appointments. Two thumbs up!

I had a 60min massage with Tresca this morning, and it was wonderful! I was super relaxed and started to nap off a few times because of how good everything felt. We worked on stretching out my hamstrings, which was my central problem area, and she taught me a few at-home stretches that could help with my tight hip flexors and quads. A hidden gem! Tucked away in the upstairs of a small office complex; this is a tranquil haven. The decor is simple, clean and elegant. Courtney at the front desk is inviting and truly understands customer service. Rebecca listened to me and provided a wonderful 60 minute massage with aromatherapy...just what I needed after a long day of traveling. Buckhead Massage Company was easily the best massage I have had. We got a couples massage and I got a deep tissue massage while my partner got a Swedish massage. Before you start, you fill out a form with problem areas and preferences. I marked that I wanted it to be firm while my partner wanted medium pressure. They were perfect with the pressure and made sure we were comfortable. The heated tables were also game changing and everything from start to finish was fantastic.

I can’t say enough good things. This place is a hidden gem. I travel a lot for vacation and work and tend to only have time to relax when I’m out of town so I’ve had massages everywhere. So my friend suprised me with a massage today. I live five miles frim here and it would be a pleasure to visit daily. Atmosphere is amazing, the service was phenomenal one of the best massages I have ever received in my life. The lavender hot towels almost knocked me clean out. I don't even know if I felt the rest of massage after that I was just done. BMC is definitely worth the five star rating. I would recommend it to anyone and ask for Verona.

We love Buckhead Massage company! We live in Birmingham Alabama and whenever we are in the Atlanta area we visit BMC! The two hour massage is worth every single penny! I have had other massages and was super sore the next day. I don’t know how they do it but they manage to work out all of my kinks and leave me feeling refreshed, relaxed and all around awesome. Oh my goodness this place is Amazing! From the booking, to the actual massage EVRYTHING was top notch! I was having issues breathing because of my seasonal sinus flare up but my massuse reccommended some Eucalyptus oil and it made the experience even better! Great massage place in Buckhead. Had a 1 hr full body deep tissue massage session with Michael. I highly recommend him as a specialist as he is truly knowledgeable about how the body works. I had spine trauma many years ago and lower back issues and a lot of tension in the back, neck and shoulders. Michael helped to release this tension and relax the muscles.

I had a great experience at Buckhead Massage Company. The company is a little bit hidden in a small shopping center, but overall not hard to find. Verona was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and gave me several pointers to help with back and neck tension. I've only had 3 professional massages, and this was by far the best. I will 100% be back!

Gigi Fernandez is AMAZING!! She takes such great care of her customers! I’ve only had one massage before my trip to this place and they were no where near as good as Buckhead Massage Company!
