The homes that i have seen have been just bad. I am sorry i just have to be honest. Not only are they in a not to good of a neighborhood. the rooms are small and I mean small basically stretch your arms out to the side and that's as big as the room is. And I am not exaggerating. Now keep in mind we only looked at one house but that was enough.. About 5/6 years ago we looked at a few of their homes that they had for rent on dumaine Street and they was bad.. They are extremely overpriced for what they are offering.. From what i heard that somebody else did own this company by the name of Ju-Bear, and he offered bad houses as well. Basically to sum it up in one word just company has real shity houses and they are crooked As F*c*.. Just saying. " My opinion" from what i saw.. 1st hand.. Now the house that i just looked at today had everything in the house that you need and would want 2 have in your home. Like a washer and dryer refrigerator and stove . but like i said the rooms are wayyyy to small for me and my family. And living next door to a vacant Lot with trees and weeds as tall as the house. Just not feeling it sorry.. I am quite sure that he hasn't upgraded any of his houses yet.. Slum Lord is all i can say

I live in one of their properties for over a year. The entire year we had to report the same work orders every month. We paid them 1200 for rent and 1200 deposit. When we moved the house was cleaned professionally and the grass was cut before we moved. Once we turned the keys in the next day we were told that it would take up to thirty days to get our deposit back. And finally when we did it was only 500. When I went there the owner Steven said they had to pay some one to cut the grass and patch up holes that they found in the walls. Which there were no holes cause I repainted before we turned the keys in. These people are liars and con artist. They only have properties in bad neighborhoods that are overly priced and not worth it. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Kept hiring people to cut the lawn though I had already paid a lawn maintenance man for the property. They would then make us pay ridiculous lawn fees. On one occasion, the occupant of the other half of the duplex did not do lawn care whatsoever, and the company sent *me* an even higher lawn care bill. Early into renting from them, my roommate and I were also forced to pay court fees because they claimed we had abandoned the property? I was visiting my family for the weekend and my roommate was at his father's funeral in Texas??? Renting from this company was ridiculous, and in the year we lived there, work orders would have to be submitted 2 and 3 times, would take weeks to get fixed, and the bathroom sink never was fixed. Don't bother renting through them.

Please do not rent from these people. They are con artists. They don't like to fix anything without charging you extra on rent. Even though it's an apartment building and it's not your fault. Their workers warned me not long after moving into the building about how Carson Company work. It was too late for me to do anything because I had already paid deposit and rent and I only get once a month rent. They bait people into renting from them and then they treat them like dogs or should I say animals. I should but I won't get into every detail about how they treated me. But I'm begging y'all don't do it. I just wish I was warned about them before paying rent and deposit. If I can give them zero I would.

I lived in one of carson's gem of a rental for exactly 6 months. Came with lots of fleas, possums, etc. Here is an actual photo of a trash panda watching me use the toilet from a hole in the plaster. I named him Bill Murry. The ceiling in the back of the apt fell completely down and I had a lovely sky roof! Oh!! And they refused to give me my deposit back if all this sounds fantastic to you then i highly recommend renting from them!!! Find your nola baby!!!!!

I think they were offended that I said the house was dirty that I went to view. They also wanted me to cut the grass. So clean it and cut it but the property isn't even mine? I was willing to pay 6 months up front but I'm not going to take care of their maintenance issues. New Orleans has some very bold slumlords!

I went to view a few of there properties and what a disappointment some of the houses dont have appliances some of the properties had trash and dead bugs inside of the units not clean terrible service why are ppl still renting from them they should've been outta business.

Rented from these folks for over a year and a half. I needed a fridge, they bought a new one the same day. Zero issues with the property. It was a pleasure renting from this agency, Mr. Carson always looks out for you if you rent from him. Sam

Mr.Carson is the worst. Ha has a nasty attitude. I would never do business with a person who has the no respect for others. Always bragging about how long he been in business but your quality of business is a zero.

I like the concept of house hunting most houses are run down but there are a few good ones, but you gotta be fast.
