An extension of The Glenwood Bakery, has just opened it's doors in the old Marco's space in Windermere Rd, Morningside. The Glenwood Bakery Bagels specialises in artisanal breads with a focus on sourdough with the renowned Adam Robinson at the helm. We were in the area and grabbed au raisin pastry and a bagel to go. Got home and flattened them! Yum. Can't wait to go back to sit down to have a cappucinno and another delight. Inside seating where you can watch the world pass you by, or sit at tables inside or out. Light airy interior with an open kitchen gives it a lovely vibe. Highly recommended

Our favorite Bakery on our doorstep Glad this bakery is expanding. The freshly made artisan breads & the delicious cakes and pastries have you wanting to come every morning to purchase all the baked goods for home. The juices are fresh and delish, served in glass bottles ( my fav) as we like to recycle ♻️ butters, chillies sauces and others available. Well done Glenwood Bakery on opening up your 2nd branch.

A damn fine cup of coffee and friendly warm vibes. Excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Attention to detail v good. The vegan toastie is a must. Now I understand why people lose their sh#t over good sourdough. Also very good value for money. Keep it up guys. Shout out to Leslie

Great place for freshly baked bread. Hot, delicious with plain old butter. On overcast coldish days, they sell it with soup, really delicious, to say the least. It's not too pricey. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice experience. Looking for fresh, that's Glenwood Bakery.

The food looks good... But for some of the items on display... That's where it ended... Maybe because of the heat of Durban.. some of them were dry and stale... We actually had to return some of the time coz we couldn't cut through it. Hopefully things will improve.

I used to love Glenwood bagels. The build your own bagel was my favourite. They have since stopped allowing customers to choose their own toppings which is a pity as I would gladly pay more to choose what I want and don't want on my bagel.I

Such a wonderful bakery. Evertyhing has always been fresh and tasty! So affordable- R10 for a plain bagel and R25 for filled ones. I love this spot so much! Lovely staff and good covid protocols in place!
