Update: The manager called the week after and was able to clarify that they would generally offer other solutions such as delivery of missing items or credit. And apologised for the situation. And the response below from Happy Apple demonstrates their quality service which I have seen for the past couple of years. Thank you Happy Apple! Original post: This rating is for their delivery service only. The main concern was the vegetable box ordered did not contain some of the items listed and upon politely highlighting this they essentially apologised and did not compensate at all! They said the contents had changed that day but I checked their website and it still had the contents I saw when ordering. When communicating this, they then changed the contents description to a vague description with no contents. The box I received missed 3 of the listed items and hence not really value for money. Might as well but them seperately.

Happy Apple has the greatest of all FRESH FRUIT plus other great Varietys in there Store. There shop next door Ascot Vale Foodworks have there beautiful cooked with there home made Seasoning with delicious homemade Salads everything they make is all prepared there fresh. I would not shop anywhere else. Service & Staff are great.. I love shopping at the Happy Apple fruit shop there fruit & Vegies are always fresh. I also Shop in there Store next door which is called Foodworks they have a great Variety of there homemade Salads Very tasty cooked Chickens with there lovely home made seasoning. Great Pasta Sauces, Cakes everything you would want... Friendly Staff in both shops.......

Love love this place best wafer crackers just a bit thinner than the ones you at the big two. My go to for top quality cheeses and deli meats when making a cheese board and they have fantastic high end chocolates as well as there fresh produce is implacably merchandised it looks fantastic and very enticing you just want to buy it. Last time I walked back into the fresh produce 3 times and the man servicing that area was lovely and very helpful as to was the lady in the deli she came around the counter to help me as I couldn’t find the Will Stud cheese and the service at the checkout is always delightful….what a great store Happy Apple you make me happy

Really impressed. Actually only ordered from them because Dad wanted some Dr Marty's Crumpets, they are hard to come by. I've ended up ordering a lot from them the meat is of great quality and veg and fruit too. Deliveries are always great. Probably using them more than yourgrocer at the moment. And they are not to shabby either. Their home made orange juice is incredibly yummy

This is just an amazing store. Their fresh produce is just consistently top quality, and prices similar to the big supermarkets. I go out of my way to get my fruit from there. It’s always so fresh and tasty. Once I started buying fruit here, I never went back to the major supermarkets. The staff are also super friendly. It always feels good to support local.

Wonderful place to get a selection of pretty much everything your heart desires to eat and drink. Great vibe too with happy workers and a friendly local feel. I love dropping in to see what is on special, or pick up some snacks, or something for dinner. I'm yet to try one of the roasts that can be preordered but looking forward to it when I finally do!

Always delicious food and high quality fruit and vegetables! Also it can be difficult shopping with a baby- after going through the registers, the lovely lady who served me was very kind and unpacked and repacked my bag and another staff member offered to help me out to the car with my groceries which I SO appreciated! I love a small little local store that I can easily access. Happy Apple provides a good deli, reliable produce, a good selection of beer,and even freshly squeezed orange juice. What more do I want? Perhaps the price? But then you get what you pay for. See the poke bowl, vegetarian lasagna and tasty pastries. One of Ascot Vale's best

I want to love this store but my standing order for bread has been wrong or forgotten completely more times than I can count. Sometimes the bread is still on the shelf and I get an "oh that's lucky" response - really not the point or a dismissive "oh sorry, I forgot". So store and products are great, customer service needs work.

I get weekly food deliveries from this place. The food quality is AMAZING. Like, tomatoes that taste like tomatoes! And I'm super duper impressed by how helpful and responsive the staff are by email, SMS, or phone call. Seriously, this place sets the example of what perfect customer service should be.

What's not to love about The Happy Apple? The owners are amazing humans, the workers are lovely and the produce and foods are delicious! They are the best place to buy fresh produce from in Ascot Vale. They go above and beyond to help find items and stock wanted products.

The Happy Apple has beautiful fresh food and some really interesting packaged products. Everything is fresh and delicious, and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I often get my groceries delivered and have not had a single issue. They are amazing!

Great products and produce out of the ordinary to purchase at Happy Apple, in fact the ordinary can be a little hard to find here. Can be a little pricey, though worth the cost in terms of quality. Also eco and good for health items available too.

I’d pay good money to not have to go to Moonee ponds for a decent deli however the staff here are not very knowledgeable. They mailed this San Danielle and left the rind on so I have to fish around this mess trying to locate it and remove it.

Excellent produce and great service. After the service I was using elsewhere stopped doing deliveries I shopped around a tried a few different suppliers. They weren't that great until I found Happy Apple now I use them all the time

My expectations coming to this store was that everything is organically grown with no pesticides but I noticed only a few items have the word organic on them but whether they are pesticide free is a major concern for me personally

With very short notice I ordered a Grazing Box and bunch of flowers. Marisa went out of her way to accommodate me. The flowers were beautiful and the Grazing Box was outstanding! My friend was blown away. 5 stars to all of you!

Good quality produce and they stock great quality food products. Staff are friendly and has a lovely local village feel. They also own the food works next door. It will be great when they make this 1 big store!!

Great selection of groceries, fruit and veg and up market goods. I bought the best balsamic vinegar l have ever had here. It can be pricey but you can really pick up everything you need at this one stop shop.
