We had a wonderful event for over 50 people at the Henry to celebrate a milestone birthday. It was a great experience, plenty of food and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Also booked some rooms for guests, which was welcome for our out of town guests. Thanks again! More

Beautiful pub with lots of character, delicious food and fantastic service. Big shout out to Kristy behind the bar who looked after my mates and I after our car broke down. Her friendly attitude and kindness went a long way after a far from optimal evening. Thank you! More

We head up to Lawson because it is an hour up the mountains from the geographic centre of Sydney, so an easy day trip. They have a large range of craft beers served in middies, schooners or pints. The cheese platter was more than enough for

We were thrilled with our meal. Perfectly cooked & served with a smile. The bar decided to close early & turned away people at 9.40 !!! The TV was turned up above our heads as a subtle “please go soon” we were enjoying the last glass of our

This place keeps getting better and better. We visit regularly with our baby in tow and sometimes with family because it's convenient, family friendly, great value and always fast, excellent service (sometimes on busy nights there has been

My recent dining experience hit its peak with a medium-rare rump steak at a local spot. The seared exterior gave way to a succulent, flavorful center, proving that rump can be a culinary masterpiece. Accompanied by an amazing garden salad

I went here with a group before Xmas. It was THE worst food I have ever had. The barramundi was so overcooked you couldn’t cut it with a knife. The Caesar salad was just a bowl of dry lettuce with maybe two anchovies. Overpriced and small

We were VERY disappointed with our meals at the Henry after reading other good reviews. My wife and I ordered the half roast chicken. After almost a 45 minute wait, each bowl came out with two tiny pieces of overcooked chicken (definitely

My opinion of this establishment as a whole is good with disability parking, ramp access, and an inviting atmosphere with some wonderful photos of a bygone era on the walls. My wife and I are disappointed with our meals. We had the Roast

Michael and I had the pleasure to spend Melbourne Cup at our local favourite pub. All the staff and cook excelled with the scrumptious food, champagne and service. It was a fun filled day with lots of laughter and admired the beautifully

Because we were all seniors who arrived by train, the hotel's location is ideal. We appreciated very much that our table was set near the window. So, it was a bright, happy surrounding on this beautiful, sunny day. Most people liked the

Stopped in here on Friday for a quick lunch as I travelled west. The roast chicken was sublime. Perfectly cooked moist and succulent. The staff as always were so charming and helpful. Had a chance to check out the rooms. They have been

We called here for Sunday Roast Dinner - absolutely delicious. Pork cooked to perfection along with all the vegetables. Dessert - I wasnt keen - but my 2 fellow travellers thoroughly enjoyed theirs. Great food. Well worth the stop. More

Excellent food, stopped of here for a lunch with my partner, range of food options is what you would expect for a pub, but the quality was higher than average. Even the side salad was delicious! Price reasonable.$$ More

I canno't comment on the rooms because I haven't stayed here. However, I eat here with my ultra fussy parents at least once a week. Consistency is something very lacking in most mountains venues but NOT at The Henry.

We had lunch at the Henry pub at Lawson, today was not impressed, my steak was cooked lovely, but carrots were not cooked, my mashed potatoes were lumpy and broccoli was hard, gravy was tasteless, would not recommend.

We only stayed one night but the beds were clean and comfortable. The room was cosy, warm and I loved the vintage feel to the room. Such a cool place to stay. Great price too. Would definitely stay again! More

Enjoyed lunch one day last week and was very pleasantly surprised with the meal I ordered (crispy skin pork belly). Not a huge me piled high with fried chips mercifully but a very satisfying choice. More

Huge selection of beers on tap, dog friendly beer garden. We had a cheese burger and a veggie burger. Both were very tasty but the veggie burger was a challenge to eat, 2 serviettes required. More

We arrived at 6.30pm and ordered the rump steak and cheeseburger. By 7.30 the meal had not arrived. The table next to us arrived at 7.15 and received their order 15 minutes later.

Damn, that was a great meal, chicken schnitzel for the kid, chicken burger and a regular burger, thin cut chips and beer on tap. Family of three, three clean plates. More
