Ridiculous appointment system and poor customer service from reception. Also poor record keeping and information updates, late test results and some times not received results needed for medical investigations. Discrimination and lack of care and consideration for your Autistic patients. My son repeatedly has issues getting an appointment. Sort out the appointment system with your surgery and move with this century. Why is online appointment and future appointments not able to be made online? Having a strict time to call should be for emergency and same day appointments only. Told call at 8 and unable to get through then 8.30 no appointments able to be made even for future dates? What about mentally ill or otherwise disabled or elderly patients having to endure this too? Do your GP's not have a diary, does your receptionists not know how to use a calender or write it down on paper manually if the tech is down. I mean come on. What is the reason 4 failing your local patients continuously? The looks of your reviews. And a generic bot like impersonal responses to a bad review or a complaint are not helpful to anyone. I used to recommend you to others from good care received over 10 yrs ago. I would not recommend now if the only thing you are good for is handing out experimental and questionable flu/Covid vaccines and also not following up on progress of those you have vaccinated and having side effects such as illness, loss of breath and swollen feet blocked arteries etc. People aren't ringing you to pester you or for fun they are calling because they actually need a Doctor or medical attention. Fix up!

I've been registered with the Jenner practice for a good number of years. However, I find the current reception staff (mature female ladies) extremely.... rude and unhelpful. They need be reminded that they are employed to provide a service to the local community and are being paid to do a job. And that they are not exempt from delivering good customer service or from treating service users with respect and courtesy, regardless of what we look or sound like. We are all individuals, with different needs and vulnerabilities, as service users, don't treat us with distain, and act like you are doing us a favour. Remember you will be on the other side of the reception counter, (if not already) in need of medical assistance. If you don't like your job, move on... and let someone with compassion and good communication skills benefit from employment. Finally, training courses on good customer service, manners and equal opportunities would not go amiss. Service was so...much better a couple of years + ago when the reception and phone lines were staffed by young graduates. Practice manager, please don't bother responding there are already complaints in the reviews, with your responses however, there appear to be no obvious changes, just a gradual deterioration in customer service from your staff. Mobility get your act together and sort out the poor , "ring at 8:00 am, for an appointment nonsense, " and not being able to make appointments in advance. And stop experimenting with the changes in the booking system. If we are unwell we want to see a practice GP or nurse asap. customer service

First time in my life I write a review - I have experienced medical negligence at this practice and don’t want to keep quiet about it. I took a day off work on 1st September to run errands, including registering with the practice. It had been impossible to sign up for a long time because you needed a form to sign and couldn’t get a form unless you went to the practice, which COVID prevented without appointments. The woman there asked me to leave and go home and retune with the form. Since I had taken time off work to sort this I had no reason to do so and filled in the form at the practice on the spot - she said it may take a couple of weeks for me to appear on the system. She also expressed contempt and dismay at the fact I registered on the day and didn’t come back a different day with the form even though that’s her personal preference and I had all the requisite proof of address and proof of identity and a fully filled-in form. I now have my first day off since then today and as I have never heard back from them since I just called the practice and was told I am not registered and they don’t know why or what happened. But also that I can’t make a complaint about it because I am not registered. This is gross mistreatment. I want to escalate this - this cantankerous woman’s behaviour can cost lives.

Absolute rubbish now! Doctors used to be fantastic there but now they don’t seem to know much! Bought my daughter in twice this week with a bad cough which I knew wasn’t just a normal cough and cold but was palmed off with the usual ‘it’s viral’ see someone at the Jenner Wednesday afternoon and at 3.30am Thursday morning I was rushing my daughter to seldoc as she was struggling to breath from coughing and turns out it was croup which the seldoc doctor picked up straight away over the phone before he even see her! Also one of your petty doctors wanted to try argue with me about a parking space after he had blocked my car in purposely even though there was no need and he could of parked in the spaces next to me, saying it’s signed even though you wouldn’t see the sign unless you knew it was there and continued to delay me being able to leave because he wanted to be verbally aggressive and argumentative about it even though I was holding my poorly daughter in my arms. If I wasn’t it would of been a different story and I would of told him about himself. Will be taking further both of these with nhs England. I worked for the nhs for many years and the quality at this gp now is very poor!

I've been a patient at this surgery for over 4 years now and have seen the deterioration in service, to the point at which I'm not really sure how this site is still classed as a GP. If you attempt to self serve/ "consult doctors online" on the website using e consult you're redirected to the home page. If you click on Appointments you're taken to a page that does nothing to explain how you actually book an appointment. If you call the surgery, you hear an automated message telling you there are no appointments available, before the surgery disconnects the call. It's no wonder other NHS services and A&E are overloaded when you cannot even speak to your GP *practice* let alone a GP. The only thing this practice has been good for over the last few years is giving out covid injections, for which they had big financial incentives from the government. Any actual patient care has gone out of the window. Rather than spending time leaving wafty and insincere replies to the many negative Google reviews, they might put this resource to use actually responding to patient queries. Avoid this practice and avoid any of the practices under Lewisham Modality as there is no duty of care to patients.

Out of all the surgery’s I have belonged to, all but this one have been lovely. There is a receptionist at this at this surgery who I can only describe as the spawn of Satan. I’m not an unreasonable person, I explain my circumstances very clearly yet on 4 occasions this one person has spoken to me in a manner of patronisation, rudeness, unsympathetic, talking over me, no empathy. I have made 2 complaints by email in 2 months, requesting to speak to the manager and they have not responded. In addition, it took 4 days to contact the surgery after the phone was continuously engaged. When I did get through on thr 5th day I was met with a snappy response of, ‘well, you do realise we’re In A pandemic so, you’ll just have to wait.’ By that time I had no medication left and I was left in tears. You want a better service, Jenner practice? Get rid of the Rottweiler handling the calls. No reception team should ever reduce someone to tears and worry.

  • Becky Butler

I’ve had the worst experience consistently with this surgery, to the point I’ve been left in tears multiple times. The surgery itself is so badly run. I’ve been left waiting in the waiting room for over an hour after asking 3/4 times if they could let me know how much longer I was going to be waiting as I had to get to work. No one would listen to me until I asked them to come and check the nurses office with me as there didn’t seem to be anyone in there. Found 2 nurses just having a casual laugh and chat until they saw us and she quote ‘didn’t know she had an appointment with a patient’. I’m now trying to get an appointment a few months later and called on a Monday morning to be told there were no appointments left for the whole week. I just honestly don’t know what to do anymore. All I needed was a 5 minute phone consultation about some medication. The whole system is completely and utterly broken.

  • Iris Pedron

I’ve been meaning to leave a review for a long time but I decided to give this practice the benefit of the doubt due to the pandemic and the consequent difficulties every practice had whilst navigating it. However, I’ve been registered with the Jenner Practice for a few years now and I’m sorry to say this is by far the worst practice I’ve ever been with. Apart from the premises needing to be brought into the 21st century, it’s just impossible to book appointments and be seen or listened to, let alone have a consistent patient - GP relationship where you always see the same doctor and they know your health history. Due to this, so many conditions go unchecked and untreated and get worse over time. What does a person have to do to be able to book an appointment and be seen by a doctor? We’re not asking for the moon, it’s really a basic request that every GP should be able to fulfil in an efficient way.

  • priscilla vadivelloo

Please can someone explain how the appointment system work. I went online to fill in the e consultation form, ( as I've been told the Jenner practice will not be reverting back to seeing patients as they did pre Covid) After filling in the online form, it said to ring 111, so I did, who then after assessing me said a duty doctor will call me. Which they did around 12.30 in the morning. The duty doctor then said to me to ring Jenner Practise ( my practise) in the morning to book a face to face appointment. Rang the surgery in the morning who then said I couldn't see anyone, however they will get a doctor to call me during the morning. The doctor called me during the morning went through everything again, to be told to make an appointment to see her. Is this going to be the future for Jenner? Why so many stops just to get an appointment? Do you think this is reasonable?

For two weeks I have been trying to get a blood test which Lewisham hospital denied me, informing me it has to be done at my gp. Only for the receptionist to tell me they only do blood test for people over 75 today (12/05/2022). The whole NHS was defended by the Lewisham borough and other communities so that they wouldn't get shut down for their lack of support and medical resources, for them to turn around and still deny the people, not helping them with health problems or seeming to even care. It has been like this for years now even before this covid. I will be getting a petition together to close down the jenner practice and other NHS practices that don't provide any support to their patients once and for all. They are getting paid to keep us on suffering and sickness and that is wrong on all measures.

Twice this place has bumped off my wife and I. The first time my wife was trying to get some advice on how she would go about claiming certain benefits and told her she was just trying to get more money out of the government. Bear in mind that we both work, it’s not like we desperately need help or anything we was just looking for information. The 2nd is they couldn’t take 5 minutes to look at my new born son eye, and DR Warsop basically told us we need to go to hospital and couldn’t be bothered to see us. We was there for 4 hours, and told it conjunctivitis when it could’ve took us 5 minutes from the doctors. This practice doesn’t even deserve 1 star, it’s an absolute joke of a practice and deserves to be shut down. They’ve become such a joke since Covid

  • R M (RAM)

The GPs in this practice are bordering on negligent. Sent me away with an aspirin after experiencing chest and arm pain, 3 weeks later I had a heart attack. The follow up with the GP after being discharged from hospital was laughable - the GP had not read my notes before hand and my repeat prescriptions have still not been updated on the system which means i have to keep going into surgery to ask them to sort it. We have complained directly and were supposed to be called by the practice manager to ensure this doesn't happen to another patient as there serious gaps in their suspected angina pathways - surpise surprise, still no call. For those who are under their care, my advice is find another surgery - this place will not provide you with adequate care!

  • Cecily JONES

I have been registered at the Jenner for many years, and it's one of the best health centres I've ever used. The receptionists are always helpful and most of the GPs are caring, approachable and will take the time to listen to and respond to my health queries. Its not always easy getting an appointment but that isn't the fault of the practice itself, but a consequence of a large local population, cut-backs etc. The staff do the best they can with limited resources. When I had a problem with a particular staff member, that left me feeling very upset, I reported it, and it was dealt with very quickly and to my satisfaction. i think some patients who leave poor reviews just don't appreciate the difficult circumstances that the staff have to work under.

  • Delaney

The online booking system is no longer an option here, so if you want an appointment with a doctor, you must call at exactly 8am, join a phone queue and if you’re one of the lucky ones to get answered first, you might get a telephone appointment later that day. This is the equivalent of telling a bunch of sick & vulnerable patients to line up at the gates of the practice and whoever sprints first to the door, gets to see a doctor. I understand the service is stretched, but surely there must be a better way to deal out appointments than this stressful, first come first served method? It should be noted that this is not a criticism of the staff here, who are usually considerate and compassionate.

Having two young children I’ve always felt supported by the Jenner Practice. Their e-consult and call-back system is really efficient and when the GPs ring back they give plenty of time to talk through niggling concerns, or book same-day appointments for urgent treatment. During the winter I feel I’m interacting with the surgery almost fortnightly for various family issues and have never felt un-cared for. Yes the phone wait can be long when calling in, but the receptionists at the end go above and beyond to answer questions and point you in the right direction. While surgeries are hard-pressed everywhere I feel the Jenner is quite determined to give the best care they can.

  • Christopher Duff

Called 111 around mid morning - nothing urgent, just generally unwell. By mid afternoon a GP from the Jenner Practice had called me for a telephone assessment, and by late afternoon they were seeing me in person. Newspaper headlines constantly tell us waiting lists to see GPs are horrendously long - but at least in my experience yesterday, it was the opposite. I don't think you could reasonably ask for anything more. Obviously the dr was great and all that - but the main thing that made me want to leave a review was the great availability which you don't hear about enough. At least for me yesterday, the system seems to be working perfectly. A pleasant surprise!

  • C JP

Second time I've booked an appointment with a nurse and been told they cannot do what I've gone in to see them for. What is the point of us telling the receptionists what we need an appointment for if they are not given valuable information that will prevent wasted appointments? I had to take time off work to go to the appointment only to be told I can't have a test without first receiving a letter because if they do the test the lab will just throw the test away. the previous time I needed a booster jab for my vacation which there was a national shortage of and they hadn't had any for months! So sad the NHS is in this state.

If you have a choice, register at a different GP. This one is real bad. I’ve been suffering from depression for 3 months now and they straight up refuse to even get me in contact with a psychiatrist, and when they do they refuse to repeat or prescribe any antidepressant at all, while I feel suicidal on a daily basis. Feels like modern torture. On top of that, they refused to give me COVID vaccination, and I’ve been sick with COVID 5(!!!) times in 1,5 years. Last time they did the blood test I fainted and the nurse didn’t even know what to do… It’s just appalling… please trust the reviews and go elsewhere.

  • E Nakachwa

This used to be a very good service..... I have just been reduced to tears by a receptionist. The system has changed. Again. I have been trying to get to see a doctor since last Tuesday. It's now the responsibility of Receptionists to decide whether your ailment is worthy of seeing a doctor .... The 3 receptionists i have spoken to so far all give different conditions. The dont care attitude will reduce you to tears..In fact she insulted me when I was pleading with her to help calling me ridiculous ..... I can only see a nurse ... I value my life ... This is dangerous I will go to A&E...

  • nicola deering

Reception staff always helpful when I make mistakes ordering my medication. I often get confused or forget. Dr Johnston. Has been my dr for 5yrs and he is patient, understanding, caring, thougher and firm. Surgery is always clean. It's great the surgery offers blood tests and iaps on site. Only thing I'd like to be considered is online appointments at 7am for someone with sleeping difficulties and mobility issues is difficult to get up to do this. A slot at 7pm on a Sunday used to be available to book some appointments. It would be good to have this again for some appointments.

  • Flocie

They have a really inefficient and strange appointment booking system. I tried to book my regular maternity GP appointment two weeks ahead, receptionist said that appointments can be only booked one week in advance. When I called one week in advance they said that appointments are released and booked on a daily basis and all the appointments are gone. So I wonder what is the right way to book an appointment? Seems to be more difficult than winning a lottery when people really need the care. My hospital has written to the practice well in advance about making appointments.

  • Seth B

My experience at this GP practice has been very positive since joining a a number of months ago - scheduling of appointments has been much easier than at my previous surgery, even for what might be considered a fairly low priority concern, and response to queries/follow-up on test results has also been extremely rapid and helpful, often on the very same day. The clinical staff and receptionists have been very professional and helpful, and I would recommend this GP practice to anyone in the catchment area as one doing well by patients, despite the difficult times.

  • Pinky Blinders

1* because of reception. Whoever keisha is, shes rude! Dont know why surgeries keep giving this job to such low class, ill mannered, ineducated tramps, who dont even want the job. Being a medical receptionist used to require social skills, education and a variety of other things. Mz keisha has no telephone manner, always sighing and huffing like youre inconveniencing her, constantly cutting you off and sarcastic tone. Seriously Jenner? And how are these twits qualified to decide whether your issue is urgent or not. Someone's going to end up dead.

  • angela cornford

Great doctors IF you can get an appointment! Patient access won't allow u to book- you ring up to enquire, got told to to go on the website after waiting 30 mins to get through being told to go online !! Went online had to answer a million questions and then got told I will receive a call by email by 18.30 the NEXT day !! a whole heap of hassle!! I get weve got a pandemic going on but whole process will i truely believe just make people not bother and as far as I'm concerned make people ignore symptoms than could be a serious health issue !

  • Jack Lewis

Online appointments, good doctors, and they run pretty close to on-time. Saw a lot of bad reviews and I don;t think they deserve it at all. I have had a great experience. Onboarding was smooth and uncomplicated - they did a health check on me and I was in for an appointment on the same day. Then you log in at your convenience to book appointments from then on. All GPs are currently very stretched. The Jenner Health Centre does brilliantly under the circumstances - much better than any other clinic I have been registered with.

  • Tim Brightley

The single worst health centre I have ever come across. It is IMPOSSIBLE to book an appointment ahead of time. They ask you to call up at 8.30am for any available same day appointments, of which there are rarely any. Often the soonest I can get seen is 2 weeks if they somehow are able to book them in. This is absolutely outrageous for a doctors surgery. I understand the NHS is under stress right now, but this is inexcusable. The reception staff can be very rude, and completely un-empathetic towards the situation.

  • James Murphy

This place need shuting down ASAP It is a mess the stuff do not no what thay are doing the NHS is a mess this is the worst gp you the doctor are bad nurse are bad this should be shut down ASAP this place need to be look at ad it is kill people stuff on desk are very rude Stuff just sit at desk doing nothing This is not a good doctors do not wastes your time it mess inside and out thay need to hurry up and build flats on this every one in this building should lose there job and should not be able to work for nhs

  • Mary Joachim

I have been registered with this practice since August this year, and I have been so impressed by the service offered. Everyone without exception, the doctors, nurses, reception and pharmacy staff, have been so helpful. I have rarely experienced such cheerful and caring service; which gives the impression, whilst being highly professional, that it is a family of people who care about others. It gives such hope for the health service to see a Health team like this! Thank you!!

  • Matthew Aston

If I could give them 0 stars I would. When I registered with the Jenner practice in Feb 2020 I was told to wait in the reception area. After 45mins I was finally told I’d been forgotten around. Secondly, a while after registering I noticed 3 important years worth of my medical records hadn’t been transferred. When questioning the receptionists about this they were dismissive, rude, and shifted the emphasis on me to fix the problem. I’m happily now with a new practice!!

  • Matt Bamford-Bowes

Doctors are doing what they can, but the system (website, reception, phone) is letting them down. Constantly waiting for appointments, only for them to be moved, with the only appointments available being phone consults which seem ineffective. It can't only be impacting the Jenner, but the practice has got significantly worse over the last 3-5 years. This is about people's health and wellbeing, so it's a shame that it's so hard to get an appointment.

  • Gordon Canham

Look at some of the reviews I wonder if it's the same Jenner Practice I use. Obviously patients have different experiences but as far as I am concerned I have always received excellent service from the receptionists and all the medical staff. Due to an administrative error I had difficulty In getting a repeat prescription and went to the reception today. I was dealt with by Theresa who dealt with the matter quickly in a polite and friendly manner.

  • Andrew Young

I have always had a great service from the doctors here and more recently through their online/callback service which works very efficiently. On a couple of calls I have had to send them photos and they ring you straight back which is great. I do have my preferences as to which GP I see of course as anyone would and usually that works too. I am very happy with this Practice. Oh and the online repeat prescription service always works first time.

  • Marta Kazmierczak

My 4.5 yo daughter was referred to Jenner Health Practice Dental Services as we've been struggling with some of my child's teeth issues that cannot be resolved in our local dental clinic. Dr. Siobhan was lovely and kind (so was the Nurse) , gentle and patient. She gave us refferal to King's Hospital (my daughter will need to undergo a procedure under General Anesthesia).Thank you for such a professional service!

  • Sam Rawlins-Kinloch

Wife just had 71 minutes (!!) wait to speak to a reception team who then cut you off after getting to the front of the queue. On the rare occasions you get though you have to deal with a rude, obnoxious team who want nothing more than to get you off the phone. Judging by the reviews of this place compared to other local practices, Jenna clearly have some serious, serious failures. Time for new management.

  • Saviana Danila

If you call to book, there's rarely availability. I have been today on their 'walk in clinic day' to be told that the doctor is booked the whole day! HOW is that possible??? It's a walk in!!! Staff at reception only know how to send you back home and take your number to be called by a doctor.. This is the third time in 3 years when I go with an urgent problem and I am simply sent back home. AWFUL service

  • Donovan Walker

As always very disappointed. I am never able to get a appointment within a week for my 4 year old and there is no help from a very uninterested staff, who once again suggest going to A&E. So as always use Seldoc and within 2 hours have had a phone consultation, doctor appointment and am walking out of the pharmacy with a prescription. Come on Jenner do you have any idea what your community thinks of you?

  • M williams

Booked my 2 vaccines here. Both times it was easy and no queues. And efficient. Turned up Easy They have a system Friendly staff. A very patient Canadian woman eased my worries and gave me a painless injection !! I've told my husband to come here Felt I should leave a review as people are so keen to complain.. when its a hard job and a hard work environment You guys are doing great! Thanks

  • Harriett Rumary

You can only make appointments by calling up at 8am for availability across the next week. It takes half an hour to get through by which point all the appointments are taken and you have to do the same thing over and over every day until you get one. After finally getting an appointment, they lose a copy of confidential test results needed for a long awaited referral - complete misconduct

  • Nikola Runev

Booked an appointment online for 15.10. Went to the clinic at 15.00 was told there was a bit of a delay. Still hadn't been seen by 4pm. I inquired and was told there were still patients ahead of me ! What is the point of the booking system if you are going to wait for an hour ? I left the clinic and will be registering somewhere else. The reception staff didn't seem to care one bit.

  • Hannah Clements

Unbelievably difficult to get an appointment with only 2 (monday and friday) possible times to see a doctor in a walk-in clinic, although you are not guaranteed to see a doctor if there are too many people in front. I tried to book to see a doctor for next week (week beginning 16th February) and the next appointment is in the evening of 2nd March - this is completely unacceptable.

  • Al Wilson

I've been a patient at the Jenner Practice for over 6 years and I think it's a really good doctor surgery. Despite dealing with a huge number of patients, I've always found them to be thorough and empathetic. Dr Johnston and Dr Van Cooten are my favourites but I've never had a bad experience with any of their doctors. I'm moving soon and am hoping my next health centre is as good!

  • Hayley Goodsell

I've lived in London for 8 years, moved around a lot and therefore been registered to quite a few doctors surgeries, and this is by far the best surgery I've ever been registered to. The Patient Access online system makes it so easy to get an appointment, and every doctor I have seen so far has been so understanding and helpful. I couldn't recommend Jenner Practice highly enough!

  • Ann-marie

so fed up with never being able to make an appt. If you are working, forget getting an appt. No wonder A&E are stretched to bursting. Dr chu and dr van cooten are lovely and the nurse who takes blood is fabulous but the reception team are so inhuman and uncoperative. How can you not be able to book an appt unless you go online! whats the point of having receptionist!!!

  • Nikki Ward

This place needs a complete overhaul. Absolutely impossible to get an appointment even when health visitors have flagged me as needing help multiple times, the receptionists seem to think they're guarding the crown jewels and are extremely rude and condescending. To be told to go to a&e when you're reaching crisis because its not down to them to help is appalling.

  • B Xu

Since the practice changed the appointment booking system to a lucky call me at 8 system, it is nearly impossible to get an appointment to be seen. Surely there should be an alternative to allocate appointment. We are young and not able to dial in quick enough around 8, I don’t think that elderly or vulnerable would be able to get access. It is such a shame.

  • Muto Romanof

They want me to re-register again, just because they have a new online system. Basically they want you to give your details to a private health companies. Doctors are treating patients as though they are a bunch of unwanted items. Instead of treating, just writing down useless medicines. The end of NHS is not only by the government but also by doctors.

  • Allison Mitchell

As an overseas visitor needing a prescription this was a great practice. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. I just had to go in person and register and then could book my online appointment myself (same day appointments available) for a video appointment with a doctor, then collect my prescription later that day. Couldn’t fault it.

  • Filiz Mustafa

Spoke to a lovely receptionist and explained my symptoms. She immediately informed the Dr on call, who called me back within half a hour. Dr Bowen was not only professional, she showed kindness and concern and ensured that I received the treatment and test required. Thank you Dr Bowen and dr Baker and the lovely female receptionist.

  • Agnese

A delightful first impression. Popped into Jenner Practice late this afternoon (about 40 minutes before closing time) to join the practice. Was warmly greeted by a lovely, smiling receptionist. The registration process was a breeze as having looked up the requirements I came prepared with the necessary documents. Thank you!

  • Flourish Favour

Wow...this surgery is the best ever...the always willing to help receptionist the brilliant Midwives The intellectual Doctors all the good health visitors.. everyone in the building are amazing .no word to describe this wonderful surgery . I and my family will definitely choose Jenner practice over million

  • tim neville

I had a condition I was concerned about and my experience was excellent. I was contacted very quickly by a doctor after filling out the form. The doctor was so thorough sent me for tests and provided me with results as soon as they were received. I have nothing but thanks for the service provided.

  • rory johnston

I have been to Jenner, who are combined with my usual GP at SLGP, to my 2 Covid vaccines. The staff, also combined WITHSLGP, were absolutely fantastic, as we're all the volunteers. I must add that they were being assisted by1/2 a dozen members of the RAF medical corps️️️

  • Scarlett

almost impossible to get an appointment, I've been trying to get my repeat perscription of birth control pills for about 2 months now and everything they tell you to do to book an appointment never works and makes no sense. I will be pregnant by the time they actually give me an appointment :(

  • Helen Jane Wilson

I feel very lucky that my family are registered at this practice. All of the staff - reception team, midwives and GPs have been exceptional in my dealings with them and really do care about their patients’ wellbeing. They have adapted brilliantly to challenging times and deserve high praise.

  • Vee “VeeJay60” Jay

I have been trying to get an appointment for about two months. The nearest I got was a doctor calling me, but apparently I'm not sick enough for an appointment. Last time I was there they were signing on new patients: increase their income stream whilst unable to see the patients they have.

I'm a massive fan of the NHS workers across the board here in the UK. We are lucky to have medical assistance however strained it has been this past decade or more. The Jenner Practice and Modality Lewisham have always made appointments as best to their abilities during the pandemic.

  • Maria Cochon

Extremely poor behaviour with patients, wait is longer than 30mins including appointments. People who have difficulty in speaking English or older people they are making them to do appointments online. Miscommunication throughout and also long waits for follow ups regarding results.

  • Maz Anon

If you do not have access to the internet or a smartphone this practice is completely unsympathetic!! They actively are discriminating against the elderly, disabled, neurodivergent, mentally ill and those with learning difficulties. Perhaps such patients are not cost effective?

  • George

Inaccesible. Appointment system has changed in the past few months. No appointments in advance. All patients must call at 8am on the day regardless of physical or mental condition. Better off getting an inhaler for asthma off of a friend than relying on the Jenner practice. 7

Appointment system needs attention - please put a message saying that what ''there are no bookings currently available'' means - are you fully booked - for how long? Have I tried to book at the wrong time of the day? or what? Failure and it used to be good.

Hard to get an appointment and my doctors room smells hideous, i want to change my GP asap as i am not happy with them and even with REALLY IMPORTANT things like getting letters for court ect they drag their feet and do not care it is serious stuff for you.

  • Victoria Hamilton

It used be so great but the new system is really inefficient. I've been waiting for 3 days just to get some new medication for you daughter. I've tried to call them but always more than 20 people ahead of me in queue. Filled in the form but

Diabolical service ....finally battled my way though the ridiculous booking system to book a call back for appointment ..got a text to say appointment would be in exactly a week between 11.20 -11.30 ..finally called the surgery at 11.50 to

This clinic is an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Disgusting service. I am not referring to the admin staff, I am SPECIFICALLY referring to the male doctors. I cannot believe they think this is first world service. I am SHOCKED at the behavior and

The best GP practice I have ever been under. Dr Etok is so empathetic and truly amazing at what she does. The reception team have been nothing but warm and welcoming since I joined back in January. Thank you for your wonderful care.

  • Doug Cheeseman

Has been my local health centre for 12 years and can't fault it. Always get a swift response and advice from a helpful professional person. Very surprised to read the other two reviews on here and wanted to redress the balance.

  • Carolyn Edwards

After 18 years of using the health centre I find in the last year it's the worst. 6 months to get an appointment for a smear test. Now 7 weeks for an appointment with a nurse. I might have to start booking months in advance

  • Jane Elia

Poor service. I cannot get an appointment! Obviously, the practice is absolutely overstretched and hasn't got the resources it needs to handle the volume of patients registered there. I am going to change my surgery.

  • biola ayinde

Just the worst GP Practice! Waited on the phone for over 2 hours and one receptionist hanged up! I’m soo frustrated at this point. It’s been Months now and can’t even get an appointment! Worst!!!!

  • Sophie Winter

The worst GP practice in London An example of a GP surgery that doesn’t have any processes or systems in place and doesn’t know how to use technology to operate in the 21st Century

  • Paul

Very disappointed with this practice. Got fobbed off once again after seeing the doctor on Friday. Booked appointment to see the doctor regards excruciating pain in my left knee

  • MARIE FALLON

This is the best GP practice I know. Everybody there, reception staff, nurses, GPS, makes me feel cared for. This is what the NHS is famous for, we have to value such humanity.

  • Chris

I continue to find the service at the Jenner excellent. The new consult form system works well and I have always had a same day consult. Well done and thanks to all the staff.

  • Ben Mccrea

All the Jenner doctors and staff are friendly, informative and professional. Compared with other local health centres, the appointment system is easy and reasonably quick.

  • Maxaros987

I called at 8.00am try to get appointments they say doctors will call you between 9-9.30 no calls . make me wait 1 hour and 30 minutes for nothing what waste time

  • Balford Henry

The GP I saw, Dr Ray, was excellent! Very patient with my 4 separate problems which she somehow managed to sort in 10 minutes. Delighted with the servcie her.

  • jimmy richards

I would like to say the help the doctors have given me especially doctor van cooten have allowed me to live a healthy life thank you

  • Kurtis Blowhard

Poor patient care. Purposely make it difficult to get an appintment. I know NHS is underfunded but at least pretend you care.

  • Ryan Collingham

They don't even bother answering the phone any more. A complete abdication of responsibility and duty, disgusting.

  • David Fernández Huerta

Completely impossible to book an appointment, even for a child. I don’t even try to book appointments for myself.
