I cannot recommend Monkey Vault enough! I hosted my son's 7th birthday party this past weekend and it was FABULOUS! The staff were INCREDIBLE. They were soo attentive and engaged with the children and able to adapt the activities to the varying ages and skill levels. Booking was perhaps the easiest I have ever experienced for a birthday party. I did not have to have a firm number of attendees, they charged me for only the kids that showed up. The atmosphere was so relaxed and the staff were so accommodating. We had access to the party room for the entire 2 hour duration of the party which was so helpful in allowing us to set up and have a place for kids and parents to leave their things. The actual facility was amazing and there was able space for parents to watch on as the kids learned new parkour skills. We will definitely be back!!

The old negative reviews on here are from losers... This place was great, my son had a blast and he's 6....yes you have to be careful with kids, but that's standard.. Some high spots could maybe use some guard rails but only because kids do bump into each other and you'd hate to see a kid fall by accident, pay attention to your child, stay close and they'll be fine ...adults can have a blast, I'm a very athletic 51 yr old and I had a great time... Absolutely going back.... How bout you guys expand to Whitby

Nice place to practice some flips and tricks. You can take one of their classes or do open gym. Of course classes cost more but you get taught by one of the instructors. Open gym allows you to use the entire facility. They have a parkour section with ramps, ledges, bars, ladders, mats all around including a foam pit. The other section has a gymnastics floor where you can practice different tricks. It has a lot of mats, trampolines, blocks, beams, etc that you can use. Overall, a great place to let out some energy.

My friends and I came to visit, we work at Pursuit OCR and oh man was it a blast. Brad was great, he gave us tips and everything. The facility was nice and open, lots of space to practice if you're a beginner. I myself was practicing my flips on the various mats that they have, they have elevated mats that are more cushioned and mats that that harder so you can increase difficulty. The course itself was amazing, and ranged from beginner to expert! Definitely coming back with more friends! what an experience. :)

3 out of 5 stars. This location is closed. Pretty unique gym for those who are searching for a movement gym. This gym basically tailors to anyone who does parkour, freerunning, tricking, circus, gymnastics, calisthenics or any kind of movement-based sport. They have classes here which is great for beginners. Training with others is definitely fun and you'll notice that the hours will just fly when your having fun. Definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting to try something new or tighten up skills.

A fun, no fuss maze of parkouring heaven! Great for all ages and skill levels (they offer instruction for beginners). Parents can take a seat on one of their comfy sofas and chill out for as long as their kids stay...and because there's no enforced end time, my kids typically stay a couple hours jumping to their hearts content. The only feedback for improvement is more for management...offer to take on more planning responsibilities for birthday parties at tiered pricing and moms will love you!!

I do love my hidden gems and Monkey Vault is definitely one of them. The owner and staff is super friendly as are all the customers. Whether you are new or experienced you will learn something and never get judged (only helped and encouraged) if you can't do something. The kids love it there and at the end of our session they barely make it out of the parking lot before they are conked out. Definitely on the top 10 places to visit and enjoy in all of Toronto

Best gym in Ontario. Unbelievable at first sight; truly beautiful to any parkour athletes new to indoor training. Top quality instructions from the staff. Most of them are extremely knowledgeable about anything parkour and they aren't afraid to give tips or even spot you for new moves. Devon, Devin, Steve, and Steve are top men. We just had my son's 10th birthday party here, and it was hands down the best party we've booked somewhere!!! The pricing was very affordable, better than xplay, the instructor, Steve I believe, was AMAZING. So invested in teaching the kids the proper way to do things, knew his stuff and was genuinely interested in our group of kids. We will absolutely be returning customers again and again. Well done. Just had my daughters 9th birthday here and only have glowing reviews!! Kids had a BLAST!! And a good workout!! The staff were amazing and patient with all the kids (who had varying skill levels / athletic abilities). Some kids who are more tentative of heights / monkey bars might struggle a bit but there is lots to do no matter what the skill level. Highly recommend for birthday parties or just for fun. We will be back!!

I can't express in words how much my daughter loves this place! We are here for a minimum of 3-4 hours every time we come here. The staff is super friendly, great with kids and laid-back. My kid always has someone encouraging her as she tries out new things and she always has someone to hang out with as she flips and climbs and jumps. $20 for the day and they are open until 10pm. Be prepared to hang out for a few hours!

Had a great time here a few months ago. Dan was very nice in throwing my brothers bachelor party here! Everyone had a great time, lots to do and very supportive environment. The party guests didn't want to leave and still talk about it to today. After the session, we got to speak with Dan more and I can say they're all very great people to work with. Would highly recommend and suggest you try it out too :)

2023 July 4★ A nice place to burn energy. It's really just an open area with space to jump and climb on, do a bit of acrobatics and even a small gym tucked away on the side. Great for the kids both big and small. Classes and camps are available. Drop in starts at noon each day and admission is 21$ as of time of writing. Bring water. Change rooms and showers are available if required. Bring your own lock.

This place is amazing for anyone with a bit of extra energy. It's not too often kids get a chance to play in this way. Great for adults too. My son would really like to have his birthday party there. There's a great party room with lockers. It's a rather large facility and can accomodate large groups Very clean place. Friendly staff. It was a bit difficult to find though. Not a lot of signage.

I really wish this was still in the stockyards! My kids loved it, it helped them get over some fears and my son was able to play out some of his ultimate beastmaster aspirations somewhere other than on our furniture. We did the intro lesson which helped for my kids to get more comfortable with what to do and how. Hope to be back though the hanger is a bit of a pain to get to (for us).

This place is a must visit for my son every time we head to the city. He loves parkour and insists on going to monkey vault for a few hours whenever we can. It is really cheap and we have lots of fun. The smell can be a little undesirable but what can you expect for all the sweating lol. Highly recommend you check this place out. It's a little hard to find but that is what GPS is for.

We hosted my son's 7th birthday party at The Monkey Vault and it was such an amazing experience from start to finish! The instructor was super engaging, and ensured all the kids were accounted for the entire time making my job as a parent stress free. We just finished up a birthday party for our 10 year-old...he had a blast and so did all of his friends! The staff were super helpful and flexible as we organized this at the last minute due to our original plans getting rained out. Very grateful to all involved. The structure of the party worked really well: 1 hour of play; 30 mins for food; then another 30 mins of play.

Son loved it! Use your GPS to get to the building. Entrance is at the back.The parking was rough but acceptable for warehouse areas. Inside is shared with other businesses so you can't blame the halls cleanliness souly on the Monkey Vault. It's not a small kid birthday kind if place.These people ( kids, teens and adults that go here) know parkour. It's awesome!

Great for birthday parties! The coaches kept the kids busy and having fun the entire time. I was impressed by how good they are with kids. Our coach even got them into the party room and supervised to make sure the kids didn't wander away at lunch/cake time. Most of the parents told us their kid had a great time at the party. Wasn’t sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Staff is easy going, letting children learn their way through things while being there and guiding when necessary. As a mom of a tiny guy, I was scared for him, but they gave him time to learn and gain courage. So very thankful for all staff members - thanks for the patience! Can’t wait to go back!

Started to take the adult classes and for someone who has never done parkour before, the coaches are all amazing and very supportive. They all take the time to show you the techniques and progression to complete the movement/run. Definitely have seen an increase in my mobility and conditioning since adding the parkour classes into the workout mix.

We brought 8 twelve year-olds for a birthday party and they loved the experience. The instructors were fun and supportive and gently nudged the kids to push themselves. We brought our own food and the kids were able to run and snack and then run around again! Good old-fashioned fun and everyone was tired and happy in the end. Thanks!

Our monkeys monkeyed to their hearts' content, (and no injuries! Yey!). My husband and I waited outside watching them from the delapidated but comfy chairs. I can't remember seeing those cute cheeks as red as that lately, and they didn't want to stop, just wanted to jump from block to block and trampoline and foam pit. Lots of fun!

Took a beginner class and we have so much fun. We were laughing it other but at the same time learning a lot of technique. The instructor was very helpful and watch our attempts closely to suggest more tips on how to improve on next attempts. Would recommend for laughs, working out and to learn to jump in a more cool-ly. …

Had a blast with the friends, all the staff are aproachable and are willing to give you help on new tricks and what not, awesome experience! No complaints at all. The gym is good for all level parkour people, beguiners to experience, because the beguinners feed of off the experienced. Always good vibes in the gym!!

An amazing place fo have fun and workout at the same time. Designed for doing parkour. There is a lot to do including two separate areas to practice flips, one being a spring floor and the other being a foam pit. Good for all skill levels and for the lower skill levels there are classes or free assistance.

Coaches take their time to help you out whether you're taking a class or training on your own, someone always wants to help and in fact seem EXTRA happy to help which is a good feeling. I've been training there for a couple months ans now I am learning to flip, flow better and move better. Love this place

Great place to take the kids for a few hours. My 7 (boy) and 9 year old (girl) loved it, they didn't want to leave but were hungry and exhausted after a solid 3 hour stay. Very reasonable, just pay the flat $20 fee and they can stay as long as they want. Would recommend. Staff are really nice too.

This place is one of a kind. It is Canada's largest indoor urban parkour facility. I have taken a group of students from the high school I work at here for a field trip and everyone had a great time. Their instructors are the real deal and they know how to teach beginners of multiple skill levels.

My kids are having the best time in their summer camp........I can't believe how good Ty and Brad are with them!!!! Not only they are having fun and excercice but they are learning some cool moves. But best of all they help my son over come some fears and he is getting a nice confidence boost!!!

My kids had fun. I had palpitations watching them: this looks like a broken bone or sprained ankle waiting to happen. Just when you think they couldn't possibly find a more dangerous thing to climb on or jump off of, they do! Oh man! The staff are very nice and friendly, hence 3 stars.

Boys love it. (17 and 14). We used to go to true north for climbing near here, now they are doing gym/parkoure here and get much more sweaty. And maybe also more fun for them. They offer teen classes, and open gym. They also usually stay after the class until their mussels give up :)

An amazing gym for almost anyone. Almost. I love monkey vault but it can get dangerous but you kind of expect that. I mean come on its a parkour gym! All I’m saying is that you should totally come here but if your child is young I highly recommend you keep a close eye on them.

Amazing place for kids (of all ages). Staff are super inviting, knowledgeable, friendly, and they actually get kids - they let the kids explore and really test themselves on scary/challenging stuff, but in a decently safe way. We need more of this in our city/society IMO.

So much Fun! It was difficult to find though, signage was minimal. You need to enter from behind the brewery which shares the building. Once inside, it is great big obstacle course for parkour. It also has a big foam pit for flips and huge jumps.

My 9 year old son and his friends love it here. We have had a number of starter lessons so that they know how to use the gym safely and now they love their drop-in time here.
