If you are a guest in the hotel it's probably gonna be awesome because it's conveniently located! However if you have to drive to the location, I would not recommend, unless you've been before and can accurately navigate. It's DC so traffic will ALWAYS get the best of you. The reason I fault them with a start is because for $250 I was at least expecting an email with address and directions and quite frankly a warning .I got a text no doubt with the time but that was about it. On my way there I called about running late, and was told valet would validate my parking, all information that would have been helpful before hand to help me better plan,l. Of course between figuring out the location, flagging down staff for directions etc, by the time I got there I was told I have only 10 mins left on the sesion but was more than welcome to use the jacuzzi/spa. Now being in customer relations myself I take responsibility for not planning well. However, drive up there once and experience how bad the accessibility is, including the almost non-existent valet entrance (it's DC one wrong turn and you earn an extra 10mins just to make a turn), and you'll understand why I felt catfished! It's my wife's bday and the massage will probably be done by the time Im done posting this.
The spa at the Four Seasons Georgetown is lovely. I received a 50 min massage with a professional therapist. The reception area includes tea and snacks as well as a co-ed lounge area. Their relaxation area inside the locker rooms feels like a hallway and isn’t too relaxing. However, there is a co ed lounge area that is a a great place to enjoy a glass of champagne with your opposite gender companion. During your stay, you are welcome to enjoy their sauna and steam room. Note it is a quite small area that does not provide the excellent ammenities like a sonic shower or super dreamy steam room. It is rather basic. However, downstairs (accessed by stairs only) there is a lovely pool and hot tub. This part of the Four Season spa is the most relaxing and is the primary reason to return. My massage was professional and pleasing, yet the massage therapist expressed some not so favorable opinions about people’s gender and clothing choices, which discouraged lesbian culture which concerned me. I would return, but make sure I worked with a more socially conscious therapist next time.
I had my birthday retreat here, they organized so many pleasant things!!! I got balloons, birthday tart and a glass of champagne. Everyone wished me happy birthday million times! I had a great time! I scheduled 80 minutes massage and then enjoyed sauna and steam room. There are also a pool and jacuzzi. The stuff is very attentive, asking what you need and ready to help with anything. My massage with Georgi was amazing, if you like deep tissue, this is it! Beri was so caring and attentive in the lounge, she always made sure I have a fresh towel, water, robe. The locker room is huge and very clean, it’s being cleaned all day. At least ten separate mirrors and poufs for ladies to dry their hair or put a mask or makeup on, which is very lovely. The sauna was very hot, great temperature, and the steam room turned on more activity when someone walks in. After several hours I got hungry and asked if the restaurant needed a reservation, the manager picked up the phone and called himself to reserve a table. Overall, great experience on a special day with a very special treatment ❤️
I love this spa! I visit pretty frequently, and I highly recommend Amy for a massage and/or a facial. Amy works under whatever pressure you want. Every single massage I get from her, my knots from the neck down are almost always gone, and I am in a deep state of relaxation. The spa itself is very nice and incredibly clean. Great locker rooms. The entire staff is warm and very generous. The suana, steam room, pool, and massage rooms are always up to high standards. Free valet parking as well. I haven't gone to another spa in months.
I visited Spa at FourSeason. The spa was spectacular and superb hands down. This is the best spa service that I received in quite some time. Everyone there was welcoming and courteous. One of the staff that worked there was humble her name was Beri. She ensured that I receive champagne on my birthday. Plus there were a lot of snacks available. The massage therapist was heaven-sent. My massage was 50 minutes he did an excellent job. I enjoyed most of the amenities there. I will be back when I visit the DC area again.
First timer. Indulged in a 50 min massage today from Michael and it was superb! I finally found my regular spa location and therapist! THIS is it! Michael was polite, attentive and applied perfect pressure with very effective and skilled massage flow patterns. Every aspect from the front desk greeters, locker room attendants, clean and tidy locker rooms, a relaxing sauna were amazing and the tasty detox popcorn snack was a treat! Can’t wait to return!
The ambiance of the building and the sauna are so beautiful. I’m a massage therapist so I’ve received a lot of massages in my life, but the LMT Sara was one of the best. She was very professional, she’s made me feel comfortable and relaxed right away, and by the end of the massage, all the tension had left my body entirely! I would definitely recommend her
Great experience with the drinks!! One drink is all you need & and you can shared with another person, just be prepared to have some money to buy your glass if you want to take one home for a souvenir because it’s not free. I didn’t have a buzz at all so again great experience with the fog of smoke
Beautiful facilities and next level service. Came here to treat myself for my birthday and from the moment I arrived everyone was so kind and helpful. It is a wonderful place to come and escape for a few hours. And I cannot wait to come back.
Nice spa facility with friendly staff. I had Andy for my last visit and he was very gentle even though I checked off for a firm pressure on the questionnaire. I would recommend him if you like soft massages that will put you into sleep.
Booked an 80-minute massage for the Misses for Valentine’s Day. I did not attend the appointment personally as it was a surprise but the reward I got later that night was 5-star… if you know what I mean …
Upscale spa with upscale customer service. Very few places I have been customer service is front and center. They really made us feel special here. Highly recommended for couples, birthday special spa experience.
Tamba is one of the most amazing massage therapists I have ever encountered. He has pain management experience and it shows. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He should be teaching others ! I will be back!
Review: My family spent the weekend at this hotel in DC, and after finding out about their spa services, we went for it. The experience was fantastic. It isn’t cheap though, but it sure is worth it.
I had a massage by Sarah. I’ve never had a better massage. In addition, it’s a pleasure being in the facility. The personnel is incredibly kind.
This is a beautiful facility - the best I’ve been to in the city. Had an amazing massage and a great soak in the sauna after. Highly recommend!
The sauna, steam room...Miss Patty Selection of refreshments. All so wonderful. Well priced, outstanding treatments. Oh yes...the pool ❤️
environment was great however massage was horrible. For the cost of the massage, I was extremely disappointed my experience.
Wonderful spa! Everyone is knowledgeable, professional and first class. I'll definitetly be coming back regularly!
This is what I needed. I've been here before, but since the pandemic and I absolutely cherish this experience.
Awsome experience! Super friendly staff and 1st class facilities. Loved using the sauna and steam room also.
