Every time we come to SA, we stay here at the Contessa. We decided to try the spa out this time and were quite disappointed. We got facials, and one was absolutely horrible, and the other was just "ok." We have been to several spas, and this was our least favorite experience. The staff is friendly but the atmosphere is not very spa like. People were loud and could be heard from the end of the hall from the "relaxation" room. The changing room is just an oversized rest room with a shower in it. I'm not sure if you were supposed to lock the door or if it was a come and go type. I've never had a facial that didn't use light or even really look at my skin to determine what I needed. I felt like I just had my face washed and lotion applied, for all I know it could have been Jergens. It was waaaaay overpriced for what the service offered. When we visit, we will continue to stay at the Contessa, but I doubt there will be any spa visits in the future. We LOVE Mokara's spa. There's is truly a spa experience.

This spa experience was great. We went in for a deep tissue couples massage. The masseuse were professional and courteous. They made us feel welcome and relaxed. There is a relaxation room to sit in before and or after your massage. Charcuterie board, water, champagne, etc. We did not stay at the hotel however valet parking was included in our spa reservation which really gave it an overall relaxing carefree experience. Who wants to deal with parking after getting pampered?!

My sisters and I planned a girls’ weekend for my mom’s 80th birthday. Ten of us between the ages of 27-80 met up for a weekend of fun and pampering! From the moment we arrived, Gigi and her staff made my mom feel like a Queen! All 10 of us felt like royalty the whole weekend. The spa party was so fun and relaxing! Gigi helped me plan the event and made sure every detail was perfect. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I wasn't able to sit in the lounge because a bridal party had taken over, so the cost of my service was overpriced in that it did not include that included perk. I sat in the front with the host. Awkward and not luxurious at all for my birthday. She did offer me prosecco and an apple. The service I got was fine, felt a little rushed. Wouldn't go again. Always wanted to try a wrap, now I have, won't again.

My wife and I booked a couple massage. We called and made the appointment. The confirmation email listed a price of $150. We each got a Swedish massage. We added stones and aromatherapy (neither was worth it). The massages were both okay. They absolutely were not worth $520 total. Please look elsewhere, unless you’ve got money to just throw away like that. $520 for a 5/10 massage….. Smh.

5 star service start to finish. I was not a guest at the hotel but everyone from the door to the service ending provided prompt and attentive service. The full spa experience included spa shoes and robing, quiet relaxation room access, water/champagne, and heat wraps. A 23% Gratuity/service charge is included in the charge automatically (on top of the advertised price).

Thank you to my husband’s birthday surprise.. I had a wonderful experience at The Contessa Spa. Thank you to Sahira for an excellent massage.. it was a relaxing therapy physical and mentally. All her neat at home tricks will also be put to use. Also the staff is super nice.. from the moment you walk in is the start of relaxation!

Endulged in a citrus body glow body scrub and it was worth every penny. The spa is very relaxing, not sure you could go wrong with any service.

Be careful booking. They are very strict on no shows even when there’s an honest mistake and you’re willing to rebook.
