BEWARE OF THIS GARBAGE RESTAURANT. I have tried in many occasions birthday, take away or delivery. I have spent $900 plus on birthday and they over charged on bill and when i rang them they investigated and never returned the call back. Roughly 50-70 dollars over charged. Service is VERY POOR. Unless you call them loudly they wont even watch if the food is finished or if someone needs any assistance. But they can charge each single person on table for eating BYO cake $2.50 and leave the messy table. Food is over priced and has too much oil in every curry. I have asked them many times don’t put but still it comes FREE FLOW OIL.Picture i attached ordered chicken curry(medium). It came with very hot chillies. never looked this chicken curry more like a vindaloo paste used to make a chicken curry. When i asked them to get me new one restaurant response. LET ME CHECK AND CALL YOU BACK. Never received a call back. Pick up - 50-70 minimum minutes and still have to wait for another 20 minutes on weekdays I will never use this pathetic business who doesn’t care customer service and their money. We had a reservation for 6pm and were the first people in the restaurant and had ordered by 6:15pm we didnt receive our drinks until 6:45pm and our entrees pictured below came another 20 minutes after that. We waited until 8pm and didnt receive our mains people who had come after us had ate and left yet we were still waiting. When we got up to leave the restaurant due to the shocking service only then was a server telling us to sit back down as the “food was now ready” after explaining that we had waited for 2 hours and didnt receive our food despite being in the restaurant while it was still empty we were told that “the restaurant is really busy”. It was an absolutely shocking experience - do not recommend. Also as a tip - the pink and green raita looks radioactive, food colour does not add taste. You dont need to push people to order more food especially if you are not going to deliver it all. P.S. I couldnt post without a star if it was up to me it would all be blank. TA

This is just another fancy restaurant. Yes it may be considered “good” for the non-traditional community, but those familiar with the cuisine would understand clearly that it is just another fancy place with overpriced food neither worth the quality, nor the customer service. The manager needs to re-think how a business is managed with having the right staff with bare minimum knowledge about the cuisine. Lastly, I want to speak on behalf of delivery drivers and how they are managed. As a personal rider, I had to face lengthy waiting times (15mins) which is simply pathetic. Moreover, the staff need to understand they are in gregory hills village cct and not optus headquarters, please understand delivery drivers cannot simply start delivery without adequate signals, this is basic common sense, which I wish atleast the manager had . Next time please just hand them the order to save everyone’s time in an efficient manner.

DONT EAT HERE!!!! The service of this restaurant is terrible!!! I had ordered butter chicken and had noticed fuzz on the food before even eating. I had raised it with the staff and they were quick to put the blame on us, that the fuzz came from us and they couldn’t acknowledge that their at fault. We had advised that we don’t want to eat that dish and requested for a refund on the basis of ill hygiene and the risk of getting food poisoning. However we were forced to pay and were threatened by the manager that “watch what will happen to you.” And they proceeded to swear at me. I decided to walk away and cop it under my chin, and noticed that they took videos of me driving away which makes me feel really unsafe. As I did the right thing, and they threatened me. NEVER EAT FROM THIS PLACE!

This is probably the most expensive and worst indian food I ever had. I ordered spicy butter chicken and all I got was butter chicken sweet like a gulab jamun, the other two dishes I ordered I asked to be less spicy and they were as hot as they could made, the staff can hardly speak or understand english, I wonder how they communicate with Aussie locals, that is if they get any. I went at a quiet time not like it was busy and they couldn't follow the instructions, I wanted to give 0 star but google doesn't allow that. This restaurant is a complete rip off.

Not recommend at all. The food quality is not good at all. Ordered mild spicy food but got extra spicy food and when I complained. They blamed me for ordering mild spicy food. I was asked to wait for few minutes and they promised to call back and now its been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for a call back. Service is super slow. Make Sure if you ever go it’s recommended to order everything 1 hour before going in to the restaurant. Gravy Manchurian was a mess Chicken dish was full oil And Chicken biryani was super spicy when specifically asked to be Mild.

Used to go here years ago when it was good. Tried again today. Chef definitely changed. Food was so bland. Sizzling prawn tasted like water. Yogurt bomb was like eating a ball of pure BBQ sauce. Palak paneer so bland. Railway goat curry meat was lukewarm (almost cold). Waited almost 40 mins for last 2 mains to come out, and there was only x2 dine in customers.

Hi I’ve been living in Gregory Hills longer than you guys been open and now last 2 times worst service and food. Today ordered lunch special. First front desk lady didn’t know what I wanted. Then butter chicken didn’t have any taste & can Pepsi max drink expired 1 week ago. Really disappointed from what restaurant was to what it is now.

Staff friendly and the ambience is nice here. But the food was disappointing, hubby and I love Indian and this place was very disappointing. Flavour was weird and the naan breads were burnt and bland. Wouldn't go back here again

Best Indian cuisine I have ever had. Never had an issue with the restaurant and service is wonderful. I’m highly allergic to nuts but I love the butter chicken they serve, and I always make sure to never have the garnish and I’ve never had an issue with the order. Will always return

Wow, what great little restaurant.. Lovely staff and lovely food. The attention to detail is marvellous too, their cutlery, music, king fisher beer! My wife and I had a great time, and it’s nice and close by. Great work Taste of India, and consider us regulars hehe .
