Went here last night for a few drinks with a friend, but ended up staying all night for their Trivia Night as well! Great time, awesome staff (esp. Gavin the bartender), amazing food and just a cool atmosphere. The neighborhood and the city are lucky to have a unique place like this... I'll definitely be back!!! :)

Knew Gaven from my old hood. Loved him then. Love his new place. All the staff is professional and welcoming. This is my home away from home. The food is comforting and there’s live music and trivia (if you are into trivia)! It has a juke bod and bartenders that make you feel like family. Cant gush enough

Why would you open up a Scottish bar in mostly Dominican neighborhood??? Also, regarding "Happy Hour," they have $3.00 off of the regular price for their beers, not a set price like most bars during happy hour. Another "great idea." The Vale Public House will not be around for long.

Went on a Friday night. The Bartender was rude about my music selection although they have a jukebox, so you should be able to play as you wish. He was rude on everything that wasn’t he’s taste of music. Also not interactive with the customers. Rude in front of your face :/

In was in the area last night and decided to try this Scottish classic pub. At the beginning, I thought the kitchen will be closed because I stepped in so late but it didn't. Surprisingly, my orders were delicious! I had veggie Vale Haggis;

The beer choice is excellent but I only went to see my friend David Coleman sing. My burger was trash as far as a pub burger goes...lukewarm and overcooked. I would have returned it but it took over 45-mintues to get my food with the excuse

Tonight I was invited by my sister to Vale it was amazing. Friendly waitress, owner was on site amazing catching up on everything Scottish. Food delicious, drinks Tennents Lager a must for everyone to try . Great food and beer pls stop in

Stopped by here Sunday for the first time. Really cool bar with lovely private booth, back room, out door seating as well as the welcoming main bar area. I liked that they had options of 10z drinks ( as well as pints) for those who might

Undrinkable margarita. To be fair, I was warned that they are a neighborhood bar. Uninterested to blandly hostile service, unlike the first time I went there when I enjoyed my cocktail and the service very much. So I paid and left. More

1. I'm not breaking out into song but this is the place from Cheers... since none of you know that reference... here everyone knows your name. If they don't they will. It's the definition of the local watering hole minus the depression

I love this bar, I feel so safe here. When I first moved here I didn’t know anything about this neighborhood, as someone who is shy I didn’t know where to go for drink. so I googled the closest bar near my home. The Vale came up. So I

Had an amazing time at The Vale House last night. We had a party of 10 and took over the back lounge room. Back room great place to hold court with a group of friends. The owner and bartender made sure we were well taken care of. High

Ok. Really cool. Chill atmosphere. People very genuine and nice. First real warm day and came in for refreshments. Can definitely see this becoming a goto after work or kicking off the weekend. Thank you for opening and being so cool!

Best bar around. Good music that’s not so loud you have to scream to chat. I hate that! Every bar around here is at the volume level where you get hearing damage. (Not kidding. I’m a professional musician). Drinks are cheap and good.

What a fun place! The room and dart board in the back is a nice touch. I was a nice diverse mix people there and the night we went it was karaoke night! The have great window that open to the street - The only problem was the outside

The chef went to war In that kitchen! You can taste the care and love he puts into his food with every bite! I'm a huge fan of the Edinburger. I would have taken a picture with him but he was far too busy. Very clean kitchen, great

I can’t compliment the bartender enough. Kind, attentive, and just a pleasure to interact with. We loved that the bar wasn’t too loud and that the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back. More

I stumbled upon this gem of a Scottish pub and am so glad I did. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warm Scottish hospitality that could rival a cozy Highland cottage — thanks Gavin!

This is a really nixe new cool place. The owners really care about making it fun and authentic. We sat in the little room I believe was called a snug that made it especially nice and easy for us to talk.

Great bar with a huge beer selection, creative and delicious vegetarian options and fun staff. The vegetarian haggis and the corn fritters are a must have! Also a very fun spot for brunch on weekends.
